I think you've convinced me to go ahead and pull the trigger on a Lite. Even with a Switch 2 coming, I think the Lite is going to be around for a while yet, and the catalog of games is pretty excellent.
tbh i i did the same. i wanted to wait for the switch 2, but i never had a nintendo switch so i bought the nintendo switch lite to have some experience with it and its really fun aswell. its a lot of fun. Only problem with me is i dont have friends who own a switch so idk with who i can play with to have more fun...
So, I've needed a new switch for the 7 years it's been out. I've had it since 2017, and it's on its last legs. I looked at a switch lite, because when I considered how I played my og switch, it was almost ALWAYS handheld. My biggest concern was gyro, cuz I play Splatoon WAY too much for my health. But I've debunked it with my sister, who has one, i had a huge wave of relief when she showed me it does. I also really like the fun colors, the yellow especially. So I've been looking at different vids to see how well it fits, and it's perfectly. I can't wait to get my banana switch. ❤
I don’t know how it’s happened, but I’ve ended up with 5 Switch lites. And they are all different, either special editions, or custom ones. My favourite is a white shell with coloured buttons. Combine a Lite with either a Satisfye or a Skull & Co grip, and they are perfect for a little in bed gaming, or travelling
Playing the switch lite for a few months then playing on a regular switch felt a little off. Sure the regular switch is bigger and can be docked but who’s gonna deny how comfortable the lite feels. Colors are vibrant and the games look pretty sharp imo. Great video 👍🏼
I use my Lite quite a bit since it’s easier to hold and I like the DPad. I tend to game in handheld mode as well with games like Stardew and Animal Crossing, and actually played most of BOTW on my Lite. I only use my regular switch if I want to play something like Splatoon.
You’re like many of us. I think the switch is meant to be handheld. Playing on the TV it’s fine but it really sets them apart from the other modern day consoles. Thanks for watching
I'll add that games that utilize touchscreen are also perfect with the Lite due to the width of the system; such as Mario Maker, Ace Attorney, and rhythm games like Arcaea and I-chu :D
I have the oled but I pre ordered the hyrule edition switch lite! It will be my main switch as I pretty much only game in handheld. I just love how portable it is.
Thanks to this video, I been considering using my lite again, The only thing I have an issue with is how primary consoles work. I wish you can play digital games on both my switches without internet

The lite is the only switch i own and i went with it because of the D pad and I never intended to play it in any other mode than hand held. And I absolutely love it ive had it for 6 years now and have never had a problem I hope the next one will have a Lite version as well

What did you do to make the Switch Lite looks so vibrant? When I had one it wasn't working out for my gaming needs. I found the screen to small and didnt find it very comfortable. Traded it in for the Switch OLED. You making this thing look like the OLED wow nintendo should hire you to marker the Switch Lite lol
@@UnlimitedProduction1 It’s always been vibrant to me, I know some units have more of a yellow screen than others. Idk why but look into it. Of course it doesn’t look as good as the OLED because of those deeper blacks but the Lite still has a pretty nice screen.

Hey! If you have them physical you will be able to play them offline. However, if you buy your games digital it will need the internet to verify you own the games each time you try to play something. Hope that makes sense!
I got the Lite because my sis had already bought the proper "big" one and buying a second felt a bit overdoing it ....😊 I'm not really into big screen gaming, but some games just feel like they're not for the smaller screen, e.g. when the font get's so small, I feel like microscope for the games I'm playing 😅

I had a lot of troubles with Breath of the Wild with standard Switch, no way I could play it on Lite. The same was for reading text in Octopath Traveler, so in general readability was a big problem about me. But the Dpad on Lite is really sexy, so...
I like color style of your switch. ^^ Its a shame nintendo hasnt made a lite oled model With a stretched out oled screen, batter battery life, and better memory like they did with the regular one. Few people tell me get steamdeck or all these other handhelds that flooding market but i like my switch and brothers switch lite. LEast you have option getting both physical and digital games for it.
Cool víd and opinion on nsl. I love the ndsl is so friendly for otg, I have a over_the_shoulder ds game bag. Saying that I take nsl as well so I have 2/3 different era gaming and still only weighs under half a kilo. Great for 3 hour train rides easy. Nintendo have it in the bag for otg gaming. Hoping there's a switch 2 lite so carry on gaming on a train to the next decade.😅
@@silentswitchsis I play handheld often lol I just make my own builds with other things and for me at least im able to do the things I want to do and more on an OLED is all and I just didn't like it all that much.
I’d wait for the switch 2 instead of getting the switch lite they might show the switch 2 in august so you see what it is but I don’t really think they are but I would wait or get a normal or oled when they are on sale
