I have 3 Switch systems. The OLED version stays docked with my TV or gets played handheld at home 50/50. My Gray Switch Lite travels with me during work which I do often. Love the Switch Lite for portability. I also just picked up the Hyrule Edition Lite just because of my love for the Lite + it’s Zelda themed!!!
@@redcrimson1028 it was tempting to leave that Hyrule edition in the box but it looks too cool not to play haha. And it looks great on the shelf when not in use!
Nintendo definitely knows their market consumers when they decided to released Lite. As someone who's always at work and travels by public trains, Lite is such a nice way to continue playing games on the go!
It's their best handheld ever, for sure. I do think it'd be cool if it had the 3d feature though. A screen that size in 720p playing Switch games probably would have made 3d popular.
Love the Hyrule Lite. First new console I've ever bought, all others have been used. 100% of Zelda special consoles do extremely well in terms of holding value and even appreciating after a few years and I'll honestly probably grab a few extra ones sealed only because I think the gold consoles Nintendo puts out always look absolute top tier, especially with the Tri force logo and crest. The good thing is that it looks like scalpers don't have much of a shot of buying these ones out, they're selling relatively slow and in stock everywhere in multiple quantities near me in Florida at regular msrp.
The Lite is saving me in a pinch. I’m not super wealthy and my launch switch has decided it is no longer portable lol. (100 to 0 in 8 min.) it continues to play at 1% for a random amount of time but never knowing when the actual end is, not ideal.
After the OLED and HDMI mod was confirmed, I bought a Switch lite on ebay for $100. I also just sent it out to get a mod chip installed so I can have the ultimate switch lite. Unfortunately it doesn't have rumble tho :( . And after all that...I ended up caving and buying the hyrule edition switch lite too 😅
My favorit design for switch lite is just dialga palkia version which is i have,,and hyrule edition amazing😍 ,monster hunter rise, witcher, all zelda title, pokemon arceus, dragon dogma is the best to olay in this handheld🙌
Seems like the hyrule edition switch lite is breathing new life into the switch lite series. No one really cared or talk about the switch lite until now. Sales on switch lite from launch until now, has significantly lagged behind the bigger switch models. I do not like the switch lite at all, but its good take on jobs because its easier to conceal, thats about it. I think i has too many cons to be great. Firsr of all, the battery life isn't as great as the bigger models (though not bad at all, definitely better than the launch model switch) the screen is too tint with big bezels, it isnt as bright especially outdoors, which kinda defeats the purpose of it being portable, and lastly, the dpad is too small, tight and almost unfunctional.
I started on my switch journey with the turquoise lite on release then in 2023 I got the v2 switch and in 2024 got the coral Animal crossing new horizons lite. Got the coral lite as a backup if my other lite gives up on me.
Finally somebody with some sense. The lite is the worst version switch, and that's why it didnt sell well. I'm surprised Nintendo still has it around. I think that is the reason why they released the hyrule version, to attract people. They definitely got me. I actually have three switch lites (4 if you count my daughter's pink one) in the house. Why I hear you asked? Because I'm a collector and a big supporter of Nintendo. Also, it's good to have back up when one of your system(s) die. Remember, Nintendo won't be fixing switch's forever. They'll be moving on after switch 2 release. So it's wise to stock up on switch systems.
Taki Udon has an OLED and HDMI mod that just came out, it gets a better screen than the oled and it doesn’t require any software mods so i think it if you put the work in it works
Lies!!! The switch lite screen does not look sharper or better than the oled model, not even the redbox model! Are you freakin' crazy!!!? I know the ppi is higher, and the screen is smaller, but for some freaky reason, the bigger switchies still look better.

Awesome! Been playing Echoes of Wisdom on my Hyrule Edition! It looks so good!
lol literally the same story for me - I love my gray switch lite, keeping the Hyrule in the box for years to come
@@meatsweat78 we're in the same boat then. Seems like we almost pretty much use it the same way.

regular and oled are already portable

The Switch Lite was made for me. My favourite incarnation of the Switch.

Why exactly
@@nanashi5139 I just prefer portable systems for gaming and the design of the Switch Lite is marvelous.
Amazing video! I just got a switch lite turquoise and I’ve been playing it non stop
Nice!!
I use a switch lite too. I got the charcoal gray one.
Its been 5 years with this Switch and it's still gping strong with its variants. Nice collection bro especially the new rig

I'd recommend the satisfye grip on the lite. Really helps prevent cramping.
ITS BEEN 5 YEARS? 🤯
Yes sir!
Something for you my good man 😊
Thank you, kind sir!! 😊

Thank you for this video! I'm currently selling my V1 switch to get the Hyrule switch lite because I play mostly handheld and I found this video. ☺♥

Is there any transparent edition?
No, but that would be cool!
Are you going to get the new Tears of the Kingdom Switch Lite?
Edit: spelling because I’m stupid
@@ThePillowGamer Strays of the kingdom?

@ThePillowGamer Oh 😂 Yeah, Tears of the Kingdom is the Switch OLED which I actually unboxed on the channel!

Which one is the paper weight?
Honestly, none of them 😅
on some of the clips there is a white dot...it messed me up for the rest of the video
I noticed it when I finished the video 😭 Gonna use a different camera from now on
If not for the horrible battery life, I would have considered it for playing Binding of Isaac
Is not horrible I used a lot for playing Zelda, it takes more battery if you enable WiFi and Bluetooth
The lite haven't been the best version the oled is the best version
I agree but Switch Lite may be better for others

I still want the yellow switch lite, which is the best base version color. It's also very hard to find.

The lite is just a bit powerful than the OG one if you want to look at how many dead pixels on TV screen and the same problem with the OLED
Switch Lite looks sharper but OLED looks better overall
