I reviewed a Sims 4 world save in 2023. This is the best Sims 4 save file in 2023 that is base game friendly.

I am so proud to have been a contributor in this save file (I did the Johnny Zest trailer, Key Point in Sulani, and Briny Tower (Foxbury) in Britchester). I'm also currently making build videos on each for my channel (shameless plug lol). It was my very first collab ever, and to be asked to be involved with such an amazing group of creators has meant so much to me - some of them, I have followed for years! Thanks for sharing it with your viewers. With all of the hard work, it's nice to see some recognition and positive feedback!

I just downloaded this save file and it is insanely beautiful, whimsical and just overall very well done! It feels like I'm playing a different game entirely! Looking at all these builds I can't help but wonder why EA puts out these ugly builds! They say it's because of hardware limitations but like I am playing this on my crusty old laptop and it works just fine.
Like at this point, even my crusty laptop can run Sims 4 well. Updates are desperately needed...which is why the community literally did it themselves lol

Many of these lots are not fully functional because of the build buy cheat. Literally spent an hour on the pancakes house to make everything functional for my sims.... if they can fix this it'd be a great save, but as it is now, I wouldn't recommend for actual playing. They put a lot of great work into it, and I commend everyone for that, but I wish builders would also consider the playability of their builds too.
Imagine you build your magnum opus and put it out there and a popular sims creator mocks your micro peen 😂

Love your take on the Sims, you are wise to stay away from pork, fish and chicken are the only meats I will eat, try different fruits and veggies to find what is tolerable, take vitamins and have bloodwork done by a PCP once a year, you're already exercising, that is really all you need to do to stay healthy.

yo thank you for finding this! I've only found one person last year who was making a save based on expansion packs but this is a genius idea (making worlds only with the things they get in base game/ a single expansion pack each). And the save is beautiful!

„The first one is quite Unique“ that’s a German building stile
Called Doppelhaus (Double House) and you usually buy one of the halfs. So if a German says „I live in a Double House Half (Doppelhaushälfte)“ this is what is meant
I downloaded and played it alittle, put a sim in the small house in willow creek and unfortunately he couldn't use the bathroom cause the sink was to close to the toilet, and the way the house was designed it won't be easy to make the bathroom bigger, nice map, but I think play testing a house is a need, I always playtest my builds before I upload them to the gallery to make sure a sim can use the rooms easily and not just wave there arm around cause the action can't be completed
I agree. Most of the houses are not play tested which is sad because the builds are beautiful. I can't recommend this to anyone until it's fixed.
Who knows how to move from house to house without unfurnishing them?

Stach… believe me! Go Camping with Friends. It’s so much more fun and exiting if you make all sorts of experiences with camping. And bloody importantly its more romantic and funny if you have already some experiences with camping… p.s try out whoohoo in sims, in summer, at lunchtime in a tent… (recommend to do it in the horse pack near the river your sims gonna need something to cool down afterwards) > - 😂
Can I still download this if I don’t have packs? Not for the items but more so the worlds? Thanks for this video and thank you to the 160+ summers who worked on this!!! The sims team should be discussing with ALL OF YOU on how to properly build worlds!!!

Omg I aspire to be this good of a builder one day. Recently I have made a world where I am slowly building and customizing but I suck lol. My very first tiny home I made isn’t functional 😂😂 I’ve got a lot of practicing to do. I also have a hard time not making homes green and hippie like 🤦🏻♀️
In general, I like building my own lots, but I've been struggling with the giant lot at the top of Mt. Komorebi, and the build from this save file is *amazing*. Overall, really nicely done, with some super-creative ideas. Thanks for sharing it!

Please confirm if they added/ removed any new households. Because, actually, I don't particularly like playing these extra households because I love use MCCC.

Limited builds usually end up looking the best... almost like people have to be more cohesive.
the cottage in henford upon bagley looks like something out of emerdale, I live in west yorkshire and think that some people (the sims team) have never seen a council estate

Tried having a wedding on console. The other sims in the house kept cooking food. Every time they cooked it started a fire. I literally could not finish the wedding.

There actually is a working spiral staircase mod, and the Sims walk properly up and down the stairs.

We have been so Americanised that we didn't recognise the first one as a semi! 😂 I build semi's quite a lot, and have "roommates" living next door, I find it more realistic honestly
I think a better term for "base game compatible" is to say "pack compatible" -like how all the worlds are when you buy them from EA. Makes sense.
my honest opinion is that the players who make their own version of each map/world are better and more experience in Art design EA just throws everything in at once without seeing the worldly beauty in their game

It's gorgeous but how powerful a computer would you have to have to play it? I suspect I would have to strip out half the stuff to make it playable. Still I'll give it a go.
