Satch, your house is great. Rich people have very empty houses anyway. Did you ever see the house tour of Kim and Kanye’s house? Very white and very empty. Literally had a bathroom with just 1 bathtub. And it was a big bathroom.
If you want to go really snobby, you could make a home cinema room for Judith to have. That way, if she wants a movie, she can just watch it cinema quality at home without interacting with the 'peasants'. Also, if she had any people she'd be willing to talk to, she could have a movie viewing party, where they go and watch the movie in the 'cinema' and then move to one of the other rooms for socialising. You could also go for a ballroom for one of those dancing parties that aristocracy used to be famous for. Have a dancefloor and a piano or DJ and a banquet table and bar for food and drinks. Or you could have an indoor pool.
I think the way the house is build/decorated it looks like Judith could have been living with someone maybe a husband or a lover but things turned sour and they divided the house and decorated a cording to each person's style, I did a very similar with two witches in the Sims 4
4:32 you could have made that one a pool room! I could see Judith feeling like she was too good to have an outdoor pool. Like by the window could have been a little lounge area, and where you put the kitchen could have been a bar, and the rest of the space could have been the pool. Or you could have put the pool directly by the windows and the lounge area behind the pool but kept the bar where you put it! ❤❤
12:07 ME TOO no seriously let me explain I feel like as offspring of parents who are dirt poor, you either end up going one out of two ways. 1. You spend and spend because you were never taught how to save and be financially smart. 2. You lock that money away and never touch a dime because you’re too paranoid/too scared to spend the money. I definitely turned out to be more like number two. It took me a long time to learn how to spend money and buy things for myself.
I'd love to see someone make a build that's an american blue suburban on the outside but an extremely psychedelic and weird building on the inside. Sort of like the omega mart in america
i think thats something lilsimsie would do as a challenge lol like one of her vids is like each room is a different pack and it can be chaotic sometimes
That house has always been terrible. I know you're not much of a builder but I think you did well! Also that fire thing that you said you've never used YOU NEED TO! It's an absolute lifesaver when it comes to sims causing a fire. When it happens sprinklers come down from the ceiling and puts the fire out. I absolutely love it!
lmao satch, the way you talked about how you'd tell a guy whether you're a top or bottom if he looked a certain way is bottom behavior, you told on yourself to every gay man watching
Am I the only one who likes Decor to the Max kit? I put the tiger wallpaper in every kids bedroom. Perhaps they grow up with flashbacks but hey, tigers!
I think (don't know if they haven't broken it yet) that setting table from Parenthood might help with making Sims eat in formal dining room. Maybe not everyday, but might be a nice idea for formal parties.
They sit down but get back up 😂😂 But this actually makes sense, the other day I set the table for a birthday and I was so surprised when they sat down at the table, 10 sims sitting at the table is a rare sight. Didn't last long though 🤣
I thought her house was like a separate black and white sections for her and her late husband. Hers was the light side and his the dark. Idk why they didn’t live together but whatever.
Dude I never understood why you said that you were bad at building cause look at this! Haven't even finished the video and i'm amazed, even in the past when you had shown some of your houses they were so well done. Keep it going!
This was a long time ago but, I was in the process of rebuilding those hill top mansions into a cohesive style in my save and Judith's house was coming along, but then I just gave up for some reason. The Bailey Moon home and the third empty mansion (which my actor sim moved into when he reached the top of his career) both worked out amazingly well and came together easily. Judith's for some reason kept throwing me off... It was like it only needed the one floor, and I couldn't figure out what to do with all the upstairs space. I might go back and just remove that upstairs space and finish it up. I was quite proud of how those builds were coming around though.
I wonder if anyone's tried dragging and dropping a prepared meal(s) to the dining area you want your sims to eat at and using the "Call to Meal" interaction there if there are multiple sims. There's also a mod that lets you select the sims whom you want to come to the meal, and it allows you to exclude the sim who calls them.
It always baffled me that they didn't have simmers make the houses, although I think they did with horse ranch which is probably why the houses are better 😂
Before seeing what you do with the inside, you said you wanted a pool but didn’t have space and then showed the area with the glass ceiling! IMO that would’ve been a good place for an indoor pool 👀.
I so agree with what you said some people are made to be poor, my cousin is the type of person where whenever he comes into money he buys random stuff thats completely useless instead of saving and living a better life like he could
Ah, so Satch admitted that he's never used the fire sprinkler system. lol It would save him a lot of fire deaths I think. lol The sprinklers seem to prevent fire deaths as long as there's a ceiling above you, so if you want to protect sims using grills, I guess you need a sheltered deck of some kind. I feel like fire sprinklers were probably given a significant delay to allow players to put themselves out if they're short on time, but also to give you a sense of suspense. lol "Are the sprinklers _actually_ going to come on??!" lol .nwn.
The peacock doesn't have a shadow. Also peacock is such a weird word. Not that our Swedish word is more logical. We call it påfågel (onbird) for some reason.
I started playing Sims again 3 days ago because I've been out of work for several days due to covid. I just discovered you last night and I'm glad I did because I love you and I love your laugh... Going to binge watch your videos!!!
Satch, your building skirt is showing 😊you have gotten really good and I love the silly additions. Downloading now. Also, it costs money to retrain employees. EA would never. LOL
11:58 so true... im so used to not having a lot of money so when i do have it, it gives me a lot of anxiety. the only way i can keep it is if i put it in my savings
what i always do to an empty wall is put a console table and put so much clutter (especially wicker items) on the table and put ottoman and boxes below. It’s super cute and you can also put big mirror in the same wall.
Cant believe I caught you uploading this early. That said, I always interpreted this house (inside atleast) as Judith and her then husband being estranged hence the different but similar design for the rooms. Someone also said that they thought the house (exterior) could be a nod to jow Judith isn't as wealthy as she seems. Like her expenses are dwindling coz of her expensive lifestyle or being scammed by her husband?
to get sims to eat at certain tables I always place a food thing nearby, so if theres a kitchen table where theyll always eat I'll place a buffet table in the dining room and a bbq on the outside table etc also you can cook food and move it to the dining room and serve it there maybe I think the original build is so terrible I'm glad you've improved it it's much better, the conservatory is nice
The space under the stairs I'd put a bathroom in. Always good to have plenty of bathrooms you know how long it takes them to get to the toilet. Also an indoor pool would be perfect
Speaking of paying homage to the original build, I just stole the bigger (of the _two_ lol) Werewolves residential builds from the premade townies living there last night and didn't change too much more about the house other than adding an upstairs extension for a bit of a computer lab (lol) and _a massive basement,_ complete with a console gaming room (hello, PC players lol), a panic room for werewolves to have their timeouts in, and one of my now kind of staple bathhouses. lol That gives me the idea of putting a hot tub and a bar down there as well... and what the heck, probably a pool even. lol I guess it's all about the basement in this renovation. lol
I only make homes like this, you did such a different take then I do. I absolutely love your builds, I’m definitely going to have to download this build.
We had no money when I was growing up, and I've been underpaid for such a huge part of my life. Now that I have a decent salary I'm so afraid of spending money so I just let it sit in savings. I never understood spending all the money at once. It gives me anxiety to think about it.
Love this! So much better! As a side note, I also came from no money and then was irresponsible with loan money in college but that definitely was a being young and dumb thing and I'm meticulous about it now. I think some people, rich or poor, are bad with money when they are young and then learn from their mistakes and actually manage very well, but some never do. I don't think it has much to do with whether you were poor or rich to start with, but I do think the media tries to push the narrative that it does. Anyway, just my two cents. Loved this video and it gave me ideas for my own builds. I know you always say you're too big of a fan of beige but honestly it just looks better so how can you be blamed? 😂
I like making castle style homes, cuz i love the renaissance. Then i fill it with nobles. Every time i say "ok this time i'll make a simple modern home" i cant, cuz i just hate modern aesthetics ☹
I just replace alot of homes with gallery builds, i only build ones i plan on using for my own sims. And which one still has that weird camera that keeps popping up... its one of the celebrity lots

lmao judith house looks like my first building in the sims 1
😂
haha
Lmao
And so true

You should be home designer for sims team. You are so good at this.
12:07 ME TOO
no seriously
let me explain
I feel like as offspring of parents who are dirt poor, you either end up going one out of two ways.
1. You spend and spend because you were never taught how to save and be financially smart.
2. You lock that money away and never touch a dime because you’re too paranoid/too scared to spend the money.
I definitely turned out to be more like number two. It took me a long time to learn how to spend money and buy things for myself.
Damn number one is still cursing me to this day 😭🥵
I'd love to see someone make a build that's an american blue suburban on the outside but an extremely psychedelic and weird building on the inside. Sort of like the omega mart in america
As a lark, i made the lot haunted using paranormal pack...Her and Guidry get along well.
I may actually do this lol
O-o-o-omega mart, you have no idea what’s in store for youuuuuuu
i think thats something lilsimsie would do as a challenge lol like one of her vids is like each room is a different pack and it can be chaotic sometimes

I will gladly use your shell for a house, it's very nice! But not sure if Judith deserves such cool build 😂 I'm going to keep it for one of my sims
This is by far the best remodel of her house I've seen and ALOT of simmers have tried to fix it. Well done, you! Cheers
I love the random deep rambles about real life with the build mode background :D makes the video super interesting
Am I the only one who likes Decor to the Max kit? I put the tiger wallpaper in every kids bedroom. Perhaps they grow up with flashbacks but hey, tigers!

Yes when table is set The sims will always go to eat there I like it.
@@NikkiV. Oh, that's cool. I usually forget that this is a feature. That will help me a lot, friend.
They sit down but get back up 😂😂
But this actually makes sense, the other day I set the table for a birthday and I was so surprised when they sat down at the table, 10 sims sitting at the table is a rare sight. Didn't last long though 🤣

“They’ll eat in the closest possible place lol my sim will literally walk up stairs to go to her room, to sit on her chair in her bedroom to eat
This is funny because my siblings do this irl. 🤣
EA need pack house refreshers and I like the new packs as simmers now asking the houses.
This was a long time ago but, I was in the process of rebuilding those hill top mansions into a cohesive style in my save and Judith's house was coming along, but then I just gave up for some reason. I love watching you build and furnish houses, you do such a great job!
Since the lot is so big, there could have been another or an attached home for her live-in service sims.
It always baffled me that they didn't have simmers make the houses, although I think they did with horse ranch which is probably why the houses are better 😂
They did with quite a few even a while back like growing together, some lots are made by lilsimsie
@@pokefan69420she did a few for snowy escape too
Judith's place is actually pretty close to a standard American McMansion. Just needs a few more windows and a ton of faux dormers.
the original design lowkey reminds me of Monster House.
Before seeing what you do with the inside, you said you wanted a pool but didn’t have space and then showed the area with the glass ceiling! IMO that would’ve been a good place for an indoor pool 👀.
I really love what you did with the space in the end! 💜
All my money goes toward ferals. I wasn't meant to be poor - I just have morals.
I so agree with what you said some people are made to be poor, my cousin is the type of person where whenever he comes into money he buys random stuff thats completely useless instead of saving and living a better life like he could
It’s honestly one of the worst EA builds… so glad that they started having Simmers build for them
Ah, so Satch admitted that he's never used the fire sprinkler system. lol It would save him a lot of fire deaths I think. lol

Randomly I use the sprinkler and it does work outside even with no ceiling 😂😂
Tysm for putting the shell on the gallery satch! I really appreciate that I was gonna try to recreate the whole thing.
The peacock doesn't have a shadow. Also peacock is such a weird word. Not that our Swedish word is more logical. We call it påfågel (onbird) for some reason.
You definetly must do a brazillian suburban house, I would love to see you struggle with big fences, plants everywhere and lots of grandma's decor.
at least they remembered to put a door on the original bahah 💀 what a beautiful remake u did a stunning job!!
I love the idea of a panic room! Of course she would have one!
Looks great! Thanks for uploading the shell, builder Satch
I started playing Sims again 3 days ago because I've been out of work for several days due to covid. I just discovered you last night and I'm glad I did because I love you and I love your laugh... Going to binge watch your videos!!!
Ah, so this is the lot GrayStillPlays would use. Good to know she was kicked out of her home so he could torture Sims many times
This is so much better I can’t believe they allowed that build to come with the pack. It’s awful. love your version satch ❤
I save all my “collections” for the buy items I like as “rooms” lol
Satch, your building skirt is showing 😊you have gotten really good and I love the silly additions. Downloading now. Also, it costs money to retrain employees. EA would never. LOL
Judith's house somehow looks worse than most cheap apartments
Idk about that lmao
🤣🤣 no her walking around with so much sassiness and attitude while living and such a basic build 😫 the creators of this house did her dirty
The house as it comes, looks like a boat museum
Save the bees
I learned you can put plants on the end of the staircase handless if that's what the name is and they fit perfectly fine. Even small plants it's cute.
Oh the horror of this house...i rebuild it every time. It is so bad. so glad you redid this thing.
11:58 so true... im so used to not having a lot of money so when i do have it, it gives me a lot of anxiety. the only way i can keep it is if i put it in my savings
A celebrity lives HERE?! My reaction every time I see the exterior of Judith’s house. 😹
what i always do to an empty wall is put a console table and put so much clutter (especially wicker items) on the table and put ottoman and boxes below. It’s super cute and you can also put big mirror in the same wall.

I hated Judith's house. I demo-ed it and downloaded a nice mansion from the gallery
think the obnoxious bedroom match Judith personality😂. Anyway I think I remember in an older video satch saying he was verse.
I love this revamped Judith Ward's house! It's more like her!
This build feels like it was based on the Winchester Mystery house.Look it up, it is super creepy.
Damn she’s got a rec room, a family room and a parlour
You're looking so good! Great build, so much improved 👏 ❤
That royal blue bedroom actually looks good !
Satch not telling whether he is a Top or a bottom and then proceeding to talk about putting large specifically shaped things inside other things😂
I feel you lied to us, you said you were not a builder!😮😮😮
the twerking pigs are the best bit of the house lol
but you are so good at building like wtf :0
Speaking of paying homage to the original build, I just stole the bigger (of the _two_ lol) Werewolves residential builds from the premade townies living there last night and didn't change too much more about the house other than adding an upstairs extension for a bit of a computer lab (lol) and _a massive basement,_ complete with a console gaming room (hello, PC players lol), a panic room for werewolves to have their timeouts in, and one of my now kind of staple bathhouses. lol That gives me the idea of putting a hot tub and a bar down there as well... and what the heck, probably a pool even. lol I guess it's all about the basement in this renovation. lol
'Homey' is the word you were looking for. 'Homely' means you think someone is kind of ugly, but you're trying to be nice. xD
I love how he drops his type and doesn’t think about it 😂😂😂
I only make homes like this, you did such a different take then I do. I absolutely love your builds, I’m definitely going to have to download this build.
we love seeing your face & reactions
Judith's go house before your remodel looks like it would've fit in with brindleton bay
Kitchen is giving Nara Smith and Lucky lmfao
nice that you've kept some of the symmetry from the original
I decided I couldn't fix it, so I replaced it with a spa. Lol love it.
it’s soo good!! i think i’ll have to download it!!

The hiring system at EA sounds like nepotism
Why does my satchie looks so badass with his blk shirt and chain? I'm here for it!

Loved this video and it gave me ideas for my own builds. I know you always say you're too big of a fan of beige but honestly it just looks better so how can you be blamed? 😂
Watching this now realizing. They listened and added dumbbells but they’re not functional of course lol
You could put a big fish tank in the open spot next to the kitchen. Lol
It looks like a small town funeral home
Not the camera dying like 5 times during the video😂😂😅
Bwgging for brutally honest review of snowy escape day 8 🌝💅
Judith Ward is really Satch's arch enemy
I like making castle style homes, cuz i love the renaissance. Then i fill it with nobles. Every time i say "ok this time i'll make a simple modern home" i cant, cuz i just hate modern aesthetics ☹
I would really love a pool table.
I love how everyone has beef with Judith but I love when I see others remodel her house. Her base game house is literally horrible
I just replace alot of homes with gallery builds, i only build ones i plan on using for my own sims. And which one still has that weird camera that keeps popping up... its one of the celebrity lots
Your contents always cheer me up. A little bit of giggle surely helps 😂
Your videos make my day! I love your humour. Can I ask where in England are you from? 😊
I paint all my celings beige too 😁 i think in the UK, homes with different colour ceilings are so rare I've no idea how to make them work!
Didn't update or recreate the house, just built a different house on the same lot.
20:06 I think you’ve forgotten how much you’ve already given away 🤭🔝
And you say you aren't a builder. pff This is flipping gorgeous!
Loved your makeover of this build!
On the uni grant thing, I did the EXACT same. First time ever having money and I spent it all. Was so stupid. I did the same with my Santander student overdraft account and had to go onto a repayment scheme for 3 years after uni to pay it all off :'(
That absolutely does not look like an American House. That looks like a Super8 hotel
Is it just me, or was there a rating system in one of the older games that would say how efficient a house was? About how long it would take to get from room to room, and how easy it was to meet needs and things like that? Always turned me off making huge houses, and I think it still lingers to this day.
Lol oh man my name is Judith and my sister is Elizabeth 😂
lol
New age people hate Old Hollywood Glamor homes of the 40's. They also make the bad mistake of placing furniture crossway in the middle of the room. a classic design mistakes. Trying to be different doesn't mean tasteful.
What do you do with empty space? Side boards, end tables, and plants. Pictures for empty walls and statutes for empty corners and rugs to tie it together. You did get this look a lot: "😧"
The breakfast nook is class, but the rest doesn't give "5-star materialistic snob", (did you lose your inspiration?) It gives "eccentric new money with identity issues ("am I loud or quiet?") on a wild shopping spree vibes ... but I'm still not mad. It was fun watching your process.
I, too, was poor, and I do the opposite with money: I'm scared of running out again, so I don't spend it. We both would do well to invest and save. #poorpeopleproblems
Judith gives me "beige and red" vibes. Subtle, not ostentatious.
I think they should've given the build to #MrOlkan or #Marmelad. But I'm glad they are finally recognizing community talent.
Looking forward to your next...
