You should try. I've been playing in this save since the first video and it performs just fine, same small issues as the EA save files. I play on a gaming laptop.

Oh the only thing I noticed, just a wee bug, no big deal, is in san myshuno when a festival started while I was playing with Penny Pizazz a bunch of objects from the world got put into her household inventory 😂... the festival was slightly messed up from that, but not totally broken. Have you noticed anything like that?

When i see things like this created by sims community members for free on their own time, it boggles my mind that the official sims team can’t or doesn’t or won’t do things to the same degree that they’re literally being paid to create on company time. I know they have to compromise for lower end laptops but I think there could be a choice then for how detailed everything is. Idk. Bums me out lol
It’s too restricted, I know it’s unfair that people with lower end pc’s cant play on very detailed lots and stuff, but what about those people who have s decent pc? Like I want more lots bigger lots because I can run it. They should have made it lower pc friendly but be able to customise it, like making the lots bigger bla bla bla. I wish The Sims 4 was a little bit different
They don’t really care who can or can’t play it. Their interest is the bottom line. I mean the entire game in completion costs almost $1200. Could buy a great laptop for that money… not to mention it’s minimal work for them…

@@TullaRask This windmill wouldnt be used to mill despite the name haha. Im pretty sure the term windmill comes from actual mills that used the big propellers to mill grain but this one is more "modern" I think the above posts are right its for water and maybe some other things.

@@sheb5709 yes! You can watch is video where he talks about it, it's one of the most recent ones. But is in portuguese. So, the hashtag is #UltimateSims and the only rule he has is that your sims cannot be a real life person or a tv/book/whatever character. It can be inspired on but not an imitation. For exemple, you can make a spellcaster inspired in the Harry Potter movies but you can't make Harry Potter himself. And cc content is off limits too.

Its stunning. But its ridiculously sad the original Sims game doesnt come with such love and detail.
I live out where the locals still ride horses for leisure, farming and rodeo. Yes people will keep their horses in communal stables like the one in this build, especially if it's an equestrian center. If the fair is in town the livestock gets pinned in these open stables that allow the farmers to use their own pen walls to keep their animals. It just depends on where you are and what you're doing.
windmill. They're used for power usually now but back in the day it was gristmills etc (watermills too) and they'd grind grains.
13:12 : The plaques on the wall is actually a mausoleaum. Most cemeteries have one in the US. It is where you enter your loved one's cremated remains. The plaque is usually made of marble or bronze and is engraved like a grave marker would be. It's not cheap at all. I priced it after my mother died and it cost the same as burial. However, it is less expensive to cremate because there is no embalming and no casket needed. BTW ... on Curse Forge there is a mod for a cemetery lot trait. I haven't tried it but thought you may want to.
Add.: Columbarium, not mausoleum.
- Columbariums are buildings, rooms, or walls for the interment of cremated remains.
- Mausoleums are the freestanding monuments with remains inside, which look like buildings. (If it doesn't have remains in it, it's a cenotaph.)
This is insane! Puts the game developers to shame 😮

I think they should of added more community lot when it comes to the community lot traits. It does not have more nuisances when it comes to details. In detailing, I think the Sims Game Developers and the Sims Team are just too lazy and burned out to put more details into this project. There is just making the rest of us pretty sad and just not even disappointed anymore. 😕☹️
This save file does look breathtaking! Thanks for bringing it to our attention, Satch. However, my laptop could never. And I also don’t have most of the packs. So… I will experience this save file vicariously through your videos. 😂

the community stable is actually realistic. Many people can't have a horse at home and dont just give them to ranchers so they keep them in a place with others horses of people in the same situation.
Downloaded this the other day after seeing your first video. Sadly I might have to break my embargo on buying kits just to appreciate it in its entirety. It’s amazing, I would never have the patience to build all of newcrest. Let alone actually learn to use tool well enough to build outside of the lots.
Commit piracy instead, Anadius DLC is great. EA doesn't deserve your money for what they've done to the sims franchise.

@@mai5151 true. Doesn't make it a good thing. And adults should make the responsable thing and try to protect kids from stuff like that, especially we don't need to be sexualizing kids. Also your kids don't need to be your friends, you can have your adult fun seperately. So thanks but I got the grip already.

Oh great! I actually downloaded the Ultimate Save file in english a couple of weeks ago, but it wasn't updated yet with horse ranch. Here I go redownloading the new one! Haha thanks!

I feel like I swallowed the red pill and now I am going deeper and deeper into the Matrix because I had no idea you could download and tour an absolutely revamped whole Sim game and it is mind blowing but also depressing that we mortals have what we have 😂 This is beyond my wildest dreams. Can’t even comprehend how anyone is so talented and patient to rebuild the whole universe stone by stone with such detail.

that's an incredible work ! and i'm so glad you see the museum of Selvadorada ! For the cemetery, downstairs it's a columbarium : it's the place where you put ashes in the alcove, and a slab (? not sure of the word in english) engraved with the name of the person.
It really is a great save. I downloaded it right after I saw your first video about it and took all day going around and looking at everything they had finished at that time, which wasn't as much as there is now. My only complaint, which its not really a complaint, just something I noticed, one of the bars didn't have a bar in it. It's probably fixed by now. But my gosh this save is incredible.
This is the best save file for me too. And finally it has been updated. Can't wait to see the new update in my game!!! 😍😍

Satch asked about the windmill. Originally, they were designed to use wind power to run a pump that would pull water from deep underground. Today, there can be numerous uses. Like supplying electricity, it is possibly used for pumping oil and maybe a few other uses. But the specific windmill in this game was used for pumping water.

I played this save file after watching this video and it's gorgeous. It runs pretty well on my computer too! But my main issue with it is it isn't really playable if you don't want to cheat to make your sims rich. I only found two possible starter homes (not including an empty lot), one being the trailer in Strangerville and one being the bunker in Strangerville. Maybe there are more that I missed, I didn't look in every neighborhood, but even the small houses I clicked on cost more than 20k simoleons. I'd love to play with it normally but it just doesn't really seem possible without cheating. I did forget to check the prices of the apartments so if those are
LittleMsSam has a mod for live-in-businesses! And thanks for showing this off, I'm always looking for fresh overhauled saves! Dizzy Isy's save file just got updated to it's 6th version, too, and includes sims with relationships, and all employees are made and everyone is in relevant clubs... but I still want to see this save, if only for the new builds. Oh, and underground at the cemetery? That's how they bury people in New Orleans! Except above ground, because of the flooding.
I'd really love to see you cover 'The Love Letter' save file by Prxnce! Here is the description I've copied from his tumblr:

I tend to demolish the houses in each neighbourhood and fill it with downloads from the gallery especially if I am playing in a different age (I have a Victorian Newcrest in one save and an Iron age one in another). I absolutely love builders cos I too am not creative enough to do it myself. Isambardy even built a Scottish Blackhouse for me to slip into Henford-on-Bagley so I could live the life I always wanted! My "me" sim has just got enough money together to begin renovations I love it. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get the app to work since before Horse Ranch came out. xxx
Windmills generate power for most, some use them to detect storms, some use them to make brezzes in windlocked areas for crops and planting.

@@l0u_xox probably nothing from youtube tbf, but if they know you're young they know you're more vulnerable, and they can use it to pretend to be the same age. i guess the dangers of grooming have been drilled into everyone's heads so much that most teens online know what's suspicious but it still happens
We had a windmill at the cottage it made hydro so we never had to pay hydro there. It also made money as it was tied into the grid.

You need to check out the graveyards in New Orleans it will explain the Sim Graveyard much better. The wall with plaques would be in the mausoleum each plaque represents the Sim who's coffin would be in the wall. Mausoleums are pretty spooky if you ask me. :) Excellent save file. ♥
Sometimes in the states there are smaller walls that sit alone in a cemetery where coffins are buried underground, and in the wall are the ashes of the deceased person whose gravestone is a plaque on the wall in front of the enclosed Urn. Often times there is also a bench erected at the wall as well for a place to sit in remembrance of your loved one.
The windmill gets the water from the spring underground if I’m not mistaken for the horses and farm animals

I absolutely love this save file. I have small problems with it though: The Magnolia Blossom Park in Willow Creek and a wedding venue in Tartose make my game crash. I can't replace the lots either, it always results in crashing the game. Do you know if I can somehow delete specific lots from a save file in my EA folder?

The only thing o worry about is if you want to replace the lot or make a new one, if you bulldoze or replace it from the gallery doesn’t everything disappear on the outside too? So you would have to delete everything one by one to get rid of it instead?

It is called IN FACT a windmill. Then an electronic one which is for power is called a wind turbine. "A windmill is a structure that converts wind power into rotational energy using vanes called sails or blades, by tradition specifically to mill grain (gristmills), but in some parts of the English-speaking world the term has also been extended to encompass windpumps, wind turbines, and other applications."

I’m playing in this save file doing The joy of life challenge, love the townies in this save file just wished they had more in depth detailed backgrounds. How do I updated this save file without messing up the one I’m playing with now 😢
You just drop the save file into your saves folder and make sure it doesn't share the same number in its name as any other saves. You can literally just drop it in and go once you make sure it isn't the same number as your current save. Then, when you hit 'load game' you can pick between which save file you want to play on. I have multiple!
Uuhm the littel grotto in the horse ranch world, IS covered by trees from the game. It is in my save, without adding more at all.

This *is* a AAA game, lmao - that's the sad part. But! I doubt that they'll change how they've done things since the franchise started, in that regard.

I feel that a lot of the most spectacular builds really take advantage of a lot of packs -- more packs than I own.
So, as pretty as it is, I can't download it and test it.
Well, I mean, I **can**. But it's not compatible with my game configuration.
So, I will end up with a lot of missing items or replaced items.
And I will have to do a lot of make-overs to make it less of an eyesore.
So, I usually just build my own in the end. 😕

Does anyone know if you can use this safe file if you don’t have all the packs? Is there a specific amount of DLC you need for it to be worth it?
I'd recommend going to the link that's provided, to see what the creator says you need on the actual page it's listed on. Most people who create saves will say which packs are more important to have, etc.

I wish where were save files where the world is updated with only the pack and basegame. Like horserange is updated but only with the basgegame and the pack itself. If i download this a lot of items will be removed or changed

I partially agree with the public stables. It was designed for people who want to do multiple jobs or competitions with their horses but don't want to go home to care for the horses in between. But they didn't design it with the sims in mind. This is stupid because the sims have basically the same needs as the horses. So without the sims needs being met, you will have to go home anyway.
You need UI cheats my dear lmao!! Then you can just right click on the weather thing at the bottom and change it to what you want.
