I've been running the Stihl RM545VR for almost a year now, having previously always having Honda mowers, I got it originally for its wet weather capabilities but now it's my main mower, I really like it, I won't hesitate getting another one when it's time to replace it, I wouldn't say the plastics are as robust as the plastics on the Hondas and probably the engine won't last as long as the Honda, that being said I think if you're not too heavy handed with them and keep them serviced, they will have a decent lifespan, and of course you can't argue with it's wet weather supremacy.

I'll stick to my Hayter, starts first time every time, cuts great any weather and bags great.
