Grant Morrison made me into a chaos magician using ideas mostly from The Invisibles and uhhh I didn't even know it until like a few years ago. Thank youuuuuu Grant! XOXO (also, tbh, I was hugely influenced by Mage: The Ascension, a tprpg from White Wolf. Both First Edition and Second Edition were just, wow, paradigm benders. So, eehhm, thank Someone I was a dnd nerd I guess)
I heard the same thing. And I think there was some long interview also. Simulacra and Simulation, book from 1981, was the base of this story. That I remember her saying. She had it written in the mid 80s if I remember correctly. Hollywood constantly scams lesser known stories, many times they don't bother changing anything and just rely on the fact that suing is too expensive and chances of winning are not that high even at the obvious cases.
@@pendulum2001 That book is written by French male author Jean Baudrillard. So the lady must have based his story based on the ideas of that book. The only thing I remember from her interview was the name of the book she talked about. I know I have heard about that lady from couple other places as well, so it seems plausible that her claims were true, but it all is only a foggy memory anymore.
I have read her unreadable books, and she is a fraud. Someone else also claimed Terminator was a stolen story, and that is Harlan Ellison. Harlan Ellison won his copyright lawsuit, and now his name is included in the Terminator movie credits.

A couple of years ago I swear I seen a lady who said she wrote the matrix story and had it stolen from her
