2005 VOLVO S60R m66 muffler delete

Just a cheap resonator back exhaust or the muffler delete. I've order an oval tip with a baffle to finish it off, but won't be in for a couple days. Around 90 dollars to do this mod which is 2.5 inch. Will post actual daily driving video soon. Garage is about 13' wide/12' high/ 50' long with temp at 55°F and camera about 10 feet away for noise verification and vehicle up to temp. Car is all stock besides muffler delete.

I want to do this. Do I just find straight pipes and use the existing hangers and thats it?

Goot Dobra the shops will have everything unless you got a bender. You use the existing hangers on the cars body, but on the exhaust you'll need to weld hangers to connect to the exhaust hanger bushings. That's pretty much it lol, simple and cheap 😁

Does the pops and bangs from the exhaust sound louder or did it diminish pops and Banks

I never really had them, but I would guess they'd be slightly louder.

@@SyntheticVisionsAutomotive yeah I'm popped some bangs it's got a tune makes 360 brake horsepower but I have a stock exhaust with a with a downpipe though

@@brianedwards2348 next for me is downpipe, intercooler, and a tune lol. I got the smf, besnabb intake kit, and now the ipd cat back oval exhaust. Hopefully I'll get the pops lol. My RX8 popped and spit flames 😂.

That's great lol! Definitely had a few choices when I went to pick mine out! Cars doing great so far. Going to need a clutch soon, but has 210k on it now.
