All these videos are full of people who honk much faster than they brake. First they honk, then they swerve all over the place causing accidents themselves. Then 15 seconds after that they start to consider braking.

If the other vehicle causes you to have an accident, it is the other vehicle's fault. This very thing happened to me but I was going about 45 mph. Never made contact with the other vehicle, but it was a choice of being seriously injured or swerving to hit some poles. The other driver refused to give me any information. I called the cops. They asked to see the video and they actually wrote the other driver a ticket because of the video. The cops got me their insurance, and I settled for around $20,000 of damages.

What if they had crappy tires and were keeping within their equipment's capabilities, or what if they had a close call earlier on deceptively slippery roads? Maybe they're being cautious of black ice forming after the sun went down? I'd much rather have someone drive cautiously at 15 when others are going 30 in a 45 on a calm road during snowfall, than get hit because they were going carelessly fast. Cammer could've just gone around them in the empty lane, without causing a fuss.

I have a question. Are the brakes on the car mandatory in America or only optional? Far too often I see clips here where anticipatory driving and a light press on the brake would have been enough to defuse the situation.
People just value entitlement and pride over safety. They'd rather try to teach the other person a "lesson" by brute forcing their claim to the ROW, and risk getting into an accident, instead of allowing the person to make their mistake and follow through without getting involved. Too prideful to slow down and let the stupid take the ROW, and they want to prove that they're in the right and in control. A little humbling and caution would do these sort of drivers good.

EDIT: the more I look at this and see the gap the KIA behind the jeep had to the line, implying the empty space left by the jeep; combined with the way you can watch the jeep rock back pretty hard (you can watch the lights physically angle up) at the start of the clip, I think the jeep was trying to run the yellow when they, once again, should not have been

It's called a "Miss and Run", varies by state what it entails. Basically, if you avoid contact, but otherwise would have made contact, the other driver is responsible. bar that you were obeying traffic laws; IE not speeding.

The Jeep driver didn't break any laws and likely misjudged the Altima running the light. The fault lies entirely with the Altima driver.

For to many drivers, their car end at their shoulders. In what passes as their minds, everything behind them DO NOT exist.
Left lanes are usable by everyone when it isn't the freeway. "Slower traffic to right"' doesn't apply on roads and streets with left turns everywhere.
It's almost like road rules vary a bit based on the duty of the paved surface.

@ 4:59 first of all that move was pretty stupid to begin with. Second, you drive a mini van, you don't have enough torque for you to clear that intersection. Some people just don't understand their cars.
@8:36 yes the car in front should've moved to the right, due to their circumstances (crappy tires, lack of confidence driving in the condition) I would've just taken the right lane and then cut back after passing him / her. But the cammer was driving a bit fast for the slippery condition.
