33mph in a parking lot is insane
Another instance where the idiot in the car is the Cammer. Going that fast in a parking lot is a very bad idea
Pool lady is in the lane the enters and exits the parking lot. Clearly she’s not at fault.
The lady 100% is not at fault. The exit is right to the left there. Meaning she was on a main "road" of the parkinglot aswel.
They’re both driving wayyyyyy too fast for a parking lot. 33+ mph???
The cammer at 2:03 was obviously "try to be smart" using parking lots to avoid the same direction traffic jam on the road. That is why cammer was hurried and no slow down. The lady was obviously on her way to exit the parking lot she should have the right of way, not what the cammer claimed (crossing the parking lot). The cammer's comment that she was not on a lane is a false statement.
That’s what I see… ya nailed it.
And she was in the intersection first, and there's no signage meaning right-of-way is first come first go, and the road ends at that intersection as the cammer was about to enter a business' parking lot.... On top of the obvious speeding. What insurance adjuster sided with the (s)cammer?

Parking lots don't have speed limits that can be inforced. Did you see a speed limit sign?
@@ducewags speed limits in parking lots are store or property management policies and can be enforced by security. Excessive speed could be considered dangerous driving which would be an enforcable by police.
10-15mph is advisable in parking lots and 33mph is way too fast in the environment.
Also speed limits are limits. You should go slower when conditions present themselves, such as another driver driving at you in a parking lot.
@@michaelschurman5708 Security can't write a ticket for speeding, or prove speeding was done. And again, parking lot's don't have a speed limit. Or it would have signs noting a speed limit. 6:35 - why tf are you slamming on the gas to get up to a RED light?
That clip pissed me off so much lol I have an astigmatism and even with glasses it is hard to read road signs at night - some people need a second to squint and make sure before committing.
@6:30 even if you don't cause crashes (you will eventually) you'll burn a lot of extra fuel if you always drive like that. Why rush to a red light?
I honestly hate it when people do this. You should still move with the flow of traffic when entering a turn lane so others can get in. Some people enter turn lanes wayyy too early and when they do this they prevent people from entering the turn lane that are actually following the lines on the road.
@@KenW418 i can see how it makes sense, i did make the mistake of speeding up (which i really shouldn’t have) but you should normally enter the lane early just because crossing a solid white line isn’t the right thing to do because it can leave you with less stoping distance
either way the van was never going to go into the turning lane since he had no turn signal on and went straight after i honked at him
At 1:30, you should get the guy's info and report him. They drive that truck all day, every day; it's literally their job, and that's how they drive. Luckily, he was able to avoid it, but the next guy might not be so lucky.
Agreed. Truck drivers should be held to a higher standard than the rest of us, because 1) it's their profession, and 2) their vehicles are so insanely dangerous, so much more than the average commuter car. That driver needs to be retrained, at least, if not permanently lose their ability to drive that truck. Shameful behavior.

A few things happened at the 1:30 clip.
The cammer made the correct decision to dodge left instead of right, because if he go right either the truck will still hit him or he end up understeering into the ditch.
He either get lucky or had vision on left side of the road from going through the bend and subconsciously noticed there were no cars coming and made the decision to go left.
He managed to thread in the needle through the only avalible lane.
All in all great decisionmaking, observation and control skill.

To the camera person at 1:10, it's a waste of time to sue. A cheap disposable car, with a mismatched door, has an owner with no money. She can't pay for your losses, you will waste your time and money to sue. You should have uninsured motorist insurance so your insurer will fix your car and go after her.
2:10 y'all were going too fast in the parking lot as it was anyways. I always go 10, 15 max so I have time to react if something happens and any damage is minimal. Why does everyone treat parking lots like a residential 30mph road??
2:05 Lady is driving towards the exit, which means she's in the "main road" and, therefore, was the person who had the actual right of way, despite what the cammer and their insurance vultures might say.
Australia white SUV, not really any fault. They were turning right and were stopped legally. The silver car is at fault, should have stopped and waited until it was clear but was impatient or distracted.
The whole point of that left lane is to allow people to go around when someone is waiting to turn. Silver car 100% at fault.

4:32 Not sure about the left-hand traffic rules, but if we mirror that situation and make it a right-hand traffic situation, the only one at fault there is the Subaru driver.
I mean, where were the markings that it is a no-passing zone due to the intersection? Is that not a thing in Australia? If that intersection generates a higher rate of accidents ("something" was going on there to prompt the construction of the bypass on the left to go around people waiting to turn), a review should find that no-passing needed to be marked.
@@dondumitru7093 Dafuq are you even talking about... It looks like a simple turn into a parking lot... The issue there is not the lack of any kind of markings (all there needs to be is a T-junction type sign about a couple of hundred meter before the turn). The problem is the two reckless idiots passing the cammer. While one of them successfully completed their maneuver, the other panicked when he saw the SUV with a blinker and tried to merge back. If he had continued with his reckless move, there would have been no accident.
As for the bypass, it's there to simply allow people to pass the turning vehicles to lessen traffic buildup.
@ The fact that there is a bypass means that the local government traffic planning department has identified that the entrance to the "parking lot" is an intersection - the planning department recognizes that side road, and the planning department directed the construction of the bypass.
In the US, the fact that the intersection is known to the planning department means that the planning department would designate that area as a no-passing zone, AND WOULD PUT UP APPROPRIATE SIGNAGE AND MARKINGS. In the US, appropriate markings includes a double solid center line.
Was this area properly marked as a no-passing zone? Did the two offending drivers IGNORE the markings, or were the markings not present? If there were no markings, how could the offending drivers have even known about the upcoming intersection and the fact that they should not pass?
Wherever the legal fault might lie, the essential truth is that the intersection is dangerous, and needs better markings, like clear no-passing zone markings.

Almost every video there is a tesla driver being featured.
2:08
I had to rewatch this a couple of times.
So allegedly, the CRV wasn't in a lane but was indeed on the right side of what is existing lane for the parking lot.
The thing that's tricky is that there's no stop signs. But based on the way the parking lot is structured, it does look like the CRV is at fault. When exiting parking areas, the main road of the parking lot has right of way which the is to the cammer.
However, in no circumstances is it ever necessary to drive 33mph in a parking lot, leaves no room for reaction time which causes things such as this. Slow the hell down
I'm convinced Teslas driving like that are on autopilot. It's too consistently bad in the same way too just be a driver type thing!

0:10 I’m thinking that car coming out of the driveway couldn’t stop. Snow cover and not plowed makes it hard to stop. Jmo. Honestly don’t think it was on purpose only because I have a hill driveway and when not plowed it’s very hard to stop. I live on a cul-de-sac not a highway.
He was also going pretty fast 😊
I agree, but wouldnt the back tires be stopped?
He was going 45 in a 30 which doesn't help.
@@makenziecray4586 yeah, if the road is so slick the tires cant grab them, then the brakes should have no problem stopping them from spinning, unless you arent using the brakes at all, in which case...
People need to get away from calling collisions "accidents". It is never an accident. Crashes are the result of deliberate decisions to be unsafe on the road. It is not an accident to choose to be unsafe. It was an active choice.
9:13 I live in Newport News and pass through that area daily. That checks out for that intersection.
0:06-0:26 deadmau5 fan lets go!
Also, 2:06 Doing over 30mph in a parking lot is WILD. Reckless driving.
seriously stop the "pause to read" crap - just show the text longer. VERY annoying. you aren't the only dashcam channel, but you are the only one doing this.
Quit whining
It ain't that hard to pause the video
Kim, theres people that are dying
I was able to read it without pausing….🤷🏻♂️
nah go away not everyone wants to wait just so you can read without pausing
7:12 Props to the green Corolla for moving even further to the right in reaction to the collision. Never know when other cars might need extra space to evade.

I mean sure but like... no horn until when it happened? Didn't back up, granted there could be someone behind you.
I think the lesson on this one is to not be close to trailer vehicles.
Yeah. But I panicked in the moment. Didn’t realize if he was going to stop or not.
@youreverydayhellknight4257
You're not in the wrong. The message im sending is that often when Trailers back up, odds are they can't see you. So the idea is to not be too close. But you did no wrong
2:05 how is she to blame? what exactly makes cammers lane “main”? she is on the cammers right so she had a right of way.
6:40 "swerving into the turning lane" - maybe don't hit the gas like an idiot and people wouldn't have to swerve to get out of the way, psycho.
L bozo stay mad
@@bremeobrien Are you cammer? Lol you suck at driving xD
@blarghblarghblargh skill issue stay mad
@ You talk like you drive: brainless.
4:57 black sabbath hell yeah
2:05 at a completely uncontrolled intersection, would "yield to the right" not be the rule?
1:52 I know this is not the intended takeaway from this clip, but ADHD made me immediately zero in on the voice I recognized before I went "It's Robin!" and pointed at the screen like a toddler lol
It’s amazing how many people ignore a honking horn in these videos! They just keep toodling along into a collision, like they don’t know what horns are for. 😦
I didn’t honk only once to let the trucker know we good lol
