I tried to fight this boss without Iphi and that didn't turn out well. I used a team of Iphi, Radias AS, Yakumo and someone who I have forgotten. It also took a long time because of all the revivals and I was slowly going crazy but pushed through because Nona deserves to have her mother remember her. :')
After getting wombo-combo'd by that last attack sequence, I switched to Iphi/Yakumo/AS Flamme/Prai, Indulgence can be repeated ad nauseum to protect the team every time he catches you with less than 2 Blood Contracts... A little bit of trial and error, and he went down easily enough
I beat this one using Radias AS, Yipha AS, Mistrare AS (Best character in the game IMO) and Mariel ES. Instead of using PWR and INT debuff, it is better to use Type/Physical Resist Up skills and Damage Reduction skills, otherwise the boss will trigger the auras and it is game over. Also, use Type debuff resist grasta with ore (100%) on each one of frontline characters; you will mitigate the damage no problem. And one more thing... The boss has an attack called rejection wave which is a counter. In that turn, do not attack. Instead, use your buff/debbuf skills. Slowly but surely you will beat it.
I pretty much used your strategy Wil but instead of Eva i used Radias AS and used chivalry every time i used another force. That way Radias just tanked the attacks and blood contract worked its magic inbetween the AFs. But i'm happy that i beat that thing. So thanks for the Video.
I considered using Yakumo and Iphi, but was turned off from that when I saw who a guide with ES Toova (who I still need one more Codex for). Luckily, I found an appropriate free team for the occasion with AS Nona, Aldo, and additional Support. Ashtear's Zone is great to set everyone up because it reduces all damage.

This boss was...not fun. Congrats Will I made a lot of mistakes due to the rotation. Still Iphi-less so I went with safe slash team. Aldo, Nona AS, Kid, Radias AS + emotional support. Put banish on aldo to avoid the rejection wave turn. Was a slow slugfest, but had no other plan. Radias AS was there for chilvary in case I made a mistake on the rotation wave (except for the part when I forgot to use it on a new wave and continued to do so making me lose the fight...took a while to learn from the lesson). Super tough, not sure why this boss was halfway through a quest. It may have been a beautiful quest, but there was a lot of salt thrown in the mix.
I tried the alter Isuka, Iphi, Yakumo and ES Toova... Got my @$$ handed to me every time and I had up-to-date equipment. Some decent Grasta. If all fairs i might use Morty as 5th instead of playing safe with Steam Wolf.
I use ereshkigal toova ( and extreme surprise for me when i combined regen grasta that revover mp+hp per turn can give you almost infinite mp when you use paladin queen) AS Nona, Necoco , and AS tililielie as main line, but still frustrated because it just let me pass through the 25 barrier, thisnboss HP is just too insane
@@WilMakGamerDad i still can't defeat it yet, the HP is too insane and with it high defense, the battle is a very long time consumed battle and i keep mistiming the rejection wave so i get the counter which ends with the complete defeat
@@WilMakGamerDad hope so, the only thing I don't like with mini boss at some event in this game are complete annihilation move from the boss like the this one or uquoaji with his god hand and later move ( i just can beat him twice after he got that god hand move with many continuation) i can enjoy the setting in bounty hunting as i can do deep strategy, but instakill move from the boss? I can't like it at all
hey wil, do you have any recommendation for sde and celestial spark? currently I have quite a few of natural 5* heroes: (ns, es) nagi, pizzica, mistrare, eva, (ns, as, es) miyu, orleya, garambarrel, as victor, zeviro, laclair, as shannon, as shanie, (ns, as) yukino, alter dewey, biaka, radias, as felmina, daisy, toova, yuna, tsubame, yipha, milsha, myunfa, isuka, alma, veina, ilulu, hismena, premaya. what i care the most is QoL for farming, and maybe if viable, for bosses (I feel like i'm still on mid game). i've read somewhere that you recommend iphi, would it be recommended for me? This will be a last gacha for me for quite sometime.

Hey Wil. i dont have any of these members, so i tried using Sesta, Yipha AS, Soira AS, Melody AS and Tsukiha with avenger, max hp and wind grastas to power up sesta and a random character to equip 3 type resistant debuffs for the whole party... I managed to kill the first one in the story but i believe some changes were made and i did not get the Urd grasta at the end. After the fight and the whole cut scene, a light orb appears in Nona's room which allows me to fight the spiral again to get the Urd Grasta... Problem is, i keep dying. In all videos i have seen the Time Spiral boss is level 110.... Mine says level ???... I saw a video using Sesta, and she could kill the boss hp stoppers in 1 hit each time... mine? takes 3 full hits cause it went from level 110 to ???. Its driving me nuts!! Sesta has Elpis dagger, max hp ring and vitality badge
Hmmm. I did this video before they made the fight in two difficulties, so this one is the tougher fight already. As for Sesta's DPS, check the other videos' loadout, not sure if they have higher light levels than you. That being said I didn't use Sesta for this fight obviously so don't have experience in the fight. Good luck!
The fight seems to sell Iphi, who I don't have. What would you do to get around that? I'm not doing it now anyway since I still need to farm grasta for basically everyone, but just trying to figure out how to do fights like this in the long-term. It's also good that this quest resolved the plot thread with Nona's mom, but I was hoping there'd also be a mission to resolve the other story concerning the people from the future that made her.
Wow, i have two questions, can you defeat it without the proofs VC? and can you make a video with the best builds for the characters? I don't find any place to suggest builds for the charas
The VC grasta proofs help a little but I don't feel they are necessary to win. Also, check my 5* review playlist for the units I used, I do full breakdowns of setups and team comps for many units. Hope this helps.

I rmb beating this with semi-cheese units. Went in blind but took maybe 2-3 tries also to beat it.

Check out some of the other videos on RUclips. I imagine there should be other strategies. This is what worked for me. Good luck!

Dang I have 4 out of 6 of those characters any ideas on who to use instead of Thillelille and Eva
With Iphi Yakumo and AS Flamme you can choose 3 other staff units of your choice. Just watch when to do single hits vs multi attacks

Another magic or shade user would be fine. Make sure they have a move that hits 1-2 times max, and a move that does multi hits.
