How are you getting 100+ FPS in iRacing with 1440p triples on max settings? Is that on a track by yourself? I get like 70 fps average with a 6900x. Maybe you aren’t running multiprojection?

Hi there excellent video. One little thing, the extrapolation for triple screen 2k and 1k is a bit misleading as there an additional element of multi projection. To correct for that you need to use the triple monitor setting in the sims with the given resolution, both iracing and acc have it. Finally I was interested to see this this review as I have a 3070 with the Samsung g9 and was tempted to swap it for a 6800xt but it seems that in sim racing the 3070 perform exactly the same if not a bit better. By the way Nvidia has an extra feature called smp you can see it in iracing that increases performance in triple screen setups. The ultimate choice for Siam racing today is the 3080 in my opinion. At normal prices.

@@MattsPaddock however even with one monitor, you can set triple screen setup with any resolution if you choose 3 monitors instead of 1. You can see how the performance compares. I have tried it with g9 with an angle of 15 degrees as it helps with the sides being a bit angled.
@@ranakirti with my 3080ti epic with dlss quality in race start is 75-85 min depending on track and about 90 min after start when cars get in line. I have triple 1440 gigabyte
That's the best simracing benchmark out there! Thank you so much for putting the Low seetings next to the Max quality everywhere. Helps immensely to figure out what can be gained for playable frames vs all the "all Ultra settings" benchmark. We like eye-candy, but we need to race. And especially for VR, the consistant fps and high-1% low are more relevant than "how far the cards goes at ultra"
Hi, can you tell me has odyssey g9 supports amd freesync or not ? I’ve got msi rx 6800 xt and currently looking for ultrawide monitor but it has to support freesync, I’m a bit confused as most of rewievs telling only about g-sync support and nobody mention anything about freesync.
