- As for the 1st video for the channel, I just bought some American snacks I used to like when I was back in the States (that I could get in Korea) and had my some of Korean friends try them.
I know this video has been done by multiple channels before but I just wanted to see what some of my personal Koreans friends thought of American Snacks.
Hope you enjoy this video, and leave a suggestion of what you would like my Korean friends to try or react to next!

The guy in the gray sweater and scarf: "What's this? Water? Too strong! One out of 10!"
Matt T LOOOOOOL
Your not lying
Seriously! What does he even eat???
Matt T he prob doesn’t like America
@@helenblakovich1622 Pretzels, I imagine. 😋
Dude in the beanie needs to come chill in America and just eat all day lol
Tree no kidding. If he visited the US for a month he would go back home 30 pounds heavier....😊
he's my favorite
he looks like he was gna burst from happiness eating in this vid already loool. american would pop him
He wants it on toast? Just get peanut butter and Nutella.
I know it. He's so enjoyable to watch. So happy.
Someone give the girl who liked everything chocolate covered pretzels. Thatll blow her mind
Omg seriously!
Hostess used to make chocolate covered Twinkies. They called them Chocodiles.
@@grizzlygrizzle now they make fudge covered twinkies, and they are stupid delicious.
White chocolate pretzels are the best.
@@thereealunknown2155 🤢absolutely not
Someone get the girl who liked everything and the guy in the beanie plane tickets and let them eat our snacks and food all day over here. They would be so happy
That guy with purple beanie is me ! hahaha I love his face when he sees something he likes.
I know right
LITERALLY WAS ABOUT TO WRITE THIS COMMENT
Alex Ackerman IKR HE WAS SO CUTE!! I like how happy he got 😁😂 He also dresses like my hipster uncle HAHA, beanie with flannel
Alex Ackerman i wanna know what hes drinking??
Bubbles he's drinking a soda called "mountain dew"
The guy with the beanie just radiates good vibes. He’s adorable
first video I've seen of this where people actually get good snacks
thanks for the comment!
It's all snacks that I personally liked when I lived in the States
@@Koreaground Have you ever had the salter caramel pretzel pieces, from Snyder's? Oh my goodness, gracious
Ikr! There are about 3 other vids like this, but I can't find anymore, smh....
Yeah, I’ve heard of most of these, lol
Exactly!
someone give that cute girl who liked everything a hug for me she's so adorable 😭😭I would literally buy who whatever snacks she wanted just for being adorable 😭
Blossom Kim Namjoon duuuude that's a waste of money
I heard she is debuting in 2 months...
She was really cute!
Koreaground omg whats her name
debuting in what? porn omg omg omg omg omg omg omg tell me her name i neeeedafapppp
I'm surprised at all of the good snacks they picked for this video. Most of the videos I see like this, pick foods that aren't even that popular in America. Good job 👏🏾👍🏾😎!
Thanks! Leave suggestions on what I should do next and I will do it!
right!! lol they always give them beef jerky, twizzlers, weird flavored pop tarts aka stuff we never eat
Koreaground - You should let them try some Mexican candy. As a Hispanic, I would love to see their reactions towards candy from my parents' home country. Here are some suggestions: Palparindo (yellow wrapper), Mazapan, Lucas products (Pelucas, Bomvaso, Salsaghetti, Polvo), Duvalin, Rockaleta, Bubulubu, and Paleta Payaso.
Can't wait for the next video!
GeminixEvil #2 hell yeah boi!
GeminixEvil Not gonna lie, a lot of Mexican candy is just the same shit in different forms.
1:06 - Korean eats Reeses. "this is so good I want to eat it on toast"
me: this guy gets it
If you've never spread peanut butter on warm toast so it goes a little melty, you've not really eaten peanut butter.
i suggest Nutella on hot toast
@@IPfreely333 That's desert for breakfast.
@@Necronaut your point?
KhronicD I stand by that
Aw... the guy in the beanie is so adorable when he finds the snack he likes😘
He seemed to like every snack-Polar opposite of the scarf guy
cute the guy in the plaid loves almost all of them and the girl in the gray sweater with the stripes i love that shirt its cute as hell
I love watching people try foreign snacks and foods. Just the fact people are willing to try is great, but it's even better when they find something they enjoy. :) They were all really nice and receptive to the snacks as well, which, even as an American, can be pretty overly sweet/salty/greasy, but good if you're craving it. They were all good sports.
I agree minus the guy with the scarf, they were actually polite. I saw a video where they were down right ride about our snacks like our snacks personally offended them or something.
@@hayliedlr To be completely honest, some of our snacks are fairly awful and get bought/eaten because they're cheap and maybe nostalgic. Every so often I'll grab something like a hostess zebra cake and wonder while eating it... why did I do this?
what is wrong with the dude with the scarf? did you tie it on him too tight? he dont like anything!
He's just a picky guy...he loves burgers tho...
@@Koreaground i give him a 4.
I think he just likes savoury food
I think he just prefers salty to sweet
I give him a 1
The guy in the hat is so cute :)
the beanie dude and the adorable girl with black hair stole my heart 😭😫
I honestly find the guy with the purple beanie so funny. He loves everything! Also the cute girl who liked everything.
Guy in beanie....too cute!!!
That guy with the hat is so happy xD
the dude wearing a beanie is prolly a stoner...HAHAHA
thought the same but then he rejected the cheese lel
LMAO hell yeah he seemed like a chill ass dude
DrugFunnie also ain’t weed illegal over there like punishable by death
But how do you really feel, Kevin?
What and the dude with the bowl haircut doesn’t?
Finally proper snacks that we eat, THANK YOU!!
You guys had a really good assortment of snacks, these are definitely all things that I have had many times and the most channels don't get that quite right.
I really enjoyed watching this. Thank you. All of the participants had great reactions and I loved their honest opinions.
The guy with the beanie has to be my favorite😂😂
Best video I've seen of foreigners tasting American food/snacks (and I watch a lot of them for some reason). The dude who hated everything cracked me up.
beanie guy is cute :)
I love the happy guy in the flannel shirt. He was all smiles......and like me, he loves all the snacks.
I liked this video, the people were great...even Scarf Guy, who was polite even when he didn't like the snacks...Beanie Guy rocks! The next time you try Tostitos, serve them with some salsa, salsa and sour cream (scoop up a bit of sour cream and then scoop up some salsa) or mix some cottage cheese with salsa and dip your chips in that. If you're going to use the cheese sauce, heat it up and drizzle it over the chips and then toss some sliced jalapeños or salsa on it, you got to give it some flavor. Just a few suggestions... :)
Thank you for your comment :)
The guy with the beanie made me smile when seeing his happiness with the snacks.
omg the guy with the beanie is so adorable
ok those girls are so pretty, the one with a necklace is super pretty and the one who likes everything is so cute and beautiful, love her smile:) And the girls who are not picky eaters are the best:)
Lul u have no chance with any of them
It's impressive that they can try to sound out English words (and get them right for that matter). You give an American (which I am, calm down) Korean snacks and they look at the writing on the bag like its hieroglyphics.
How about this. English has been spread around the world for about 200 years. Korean for about 10. There have been thousands of Americans in Korea since 1950. Koreans have only recently started having an impact here.
The Latin alphabet is used by dozens of languages. The Korean alphabet by one. Even if you don't know English you'd still have had a reasonably good opportunity to run into the Latin alphabet. If you didn't know Korean you'd have essentially zero opportunity to have experience with the Korean alphabet.
That guy in the beanie made me smile every time. So cute!
that one dude is just a hater
elitedw12
He's probably a north korean spy.
Yup...Spot on....There's ALWAYS that one person that hates everything.... "What's this?" "Lobster stuffed w/Tacos..." "I dont like it...." Pls,I beseech you....DONT ask these people to taste test anything!!!!
elitedw12 fr
reverseperistalsis lmao
The girl with the black hair is such a positive person!
This is so endearing and wholesome, and it just makes me wanna take these people everywhere and have them try all the food ever and hang out. The one guy's reaction to Reese's was genuinely a wholesome moment. hahaha.
I love watching these things. It’s so weird to see such a common snack here not be known there.
Hey "does it have peanuts?" is a pretty serious question that got no answer.
Yeah, some people are allergic to peanuts.
They mightve nodded in the background
@N O N O .
Anyone else on an endless loop of these videos? Love the subtitles. (pushes combos afar)
Koreans are so god damned fashionable and attractive it's annoying
doggotbitm well theyre on video so...
Honestly.
plastic surgery is a huge thing in their culture unfortunately.
@@jaylward7216 I always perceived beauty as being natural and not having to follow the super trends just to be accepted. Of course, make-up is so naturally accepted everywhere but In Korea, getting a job for a woman, and even a man, if you have the same exact credentials, maybe a bit more, the prettier person will always be chosen. There is just way too much pressure on looks in Korea. I dont think everyone wants to try to get plastic surgery but they are kind of indirectly forced to by the culture. So I see it as a bad thing since you can't just be yourself.
@@savatagedude I agree with the overall sentiment. Beauty is spoiled by cosmetic surgery; by striving for a beauty standard it dilutes what makes beauty beautiful, and ignores unconventional attractiveness. All this while at the same time making people into walking carbon copies of each other-- if they're lucky. We've all seen what cosmetic surgery looks like when botched or taken too far.
It also makes beauty less precious. Gold and diamonds would have value still if they were common, but they would no longer be precious. What would light be without darkness, good without evil, talent without the less talented? So much of what we are, can be, can have, can create is hard to value without something to contrast it by. It cheapens what we already have while simultaneously cheapening what we aspire to.
That isnt to say I'm against it entirely, but I certainly think it is a mistake to welcome it with open arms.
LOL great content, I think I could watch foreigners try American things all day long!
The girl who liked everything is so freakin Adorable, who wouldn’t want to give her a hug , for Being so Incredibly Cute
So I was wondering why Koreans were always like 'ah! this is too salty~' Because usually, as an American, I just eat my food and don't analyze it too much. I just eat it. If I don't like it I don't like it. I don't go 'ew this is kind of tart,'
So, I did my research.
I found that American food was either really salty or really sweet so I guess why I can see the one man was going 'the taste is too strong'. Anyways, I figured that in Korea they had not to sweet food and not to salty food so they weren't used to these types of flavors.
I hope this clears some things up for people
The 2 toothbrushes That kookie uses we like salty and sweet food also :) but maybe we prefer milder taste, I guess. he is a picky guy. It seemed he likes unsweet snacks.
Theres a lot of salt or sugar in american snacks tbh
Actually asia loves their salt... thats why the dude that liked nothing liked salty foods... theyre not as sweet and chemically there
Foods that boast of having no preservatives are often so loaded with sugar or salt that they don't need them. Since a lot of American food usually needs to survive a lot longer in transit and on the shelf, and the 'no artificial preservatives' movement is a (mis-thought) thing, you end up with a pack of whatever that gives you 150% RDA of sodium in one sitting, or 400 calories of sweet, sweet sugar. (EDIT: or both.)
The gentleman in the leather jacket is beautiful!
And
Happy almost 1 year!
These are my kind of snacks I have a sweet tooth 😁 the guy in the purple beanie is adorable so happy from eating sweets. 😊
The guy w/ the beanie was too funny, lol... Do more on American food and or snacks!
The Snyder's are the best thing on here. I have loved those things since I was a kid. Honey mustard and Onion is my soul food.
It sure tastes good
I lost it when the guy in the beanie ate the crumbs off the table! 😂😂
Cheddar Cracker Combos!
For some reason this made me giggle a bit.
Lol I love how they stare at the package like they can read it lol. And the guy in the scarf is just jealous like that’s the only option...
love seeing videos like these !! I noticed how they point out a lot how girls or boys would prefer whatever it is theyre eating/doing. Its quite interesting 🤔
Yaas. They literally got some of my favorite snacks. I would have gave them pizza or 7 layer dip combos, and I dont think I've seen those cookies before, but they did pretty good job in getting a mixture of well known and not so well known American snacks
I love the guy in the hat. Seemed so sweet!!
Cool video, for the next one you should invest a little money in some microphones. It would improve the audio quality ten times.
Yes, thanks for the advice!
Yes the mic is kinda bad
I love their reactions. I speak Korean fluently and I still find myself reading the subs lmao.
Tostitos salsa would've been better than cheese, but overall the selection wasn't bad...For future videos:

Finally a try video where they actually give them good snack
the first guy in the beanie is also me when I eat stuffs I love lol
9.5/10 on the snacks you chose to give them. Everybody knows that pizzeria pretzel is the best of all combos (that's your .5)! Major points for giving them milk with their cookies, cheese with their tortillas, now fly them out to the US fir some KFC and Cracker Barrel. xD
Other snack suggestions; Lay's plain potato chips with sour cream & onion dip, and spinach dip with pretzels.
Thanks!
I wanna know beanie guy! He looks like he's a lot of fun to hang with. We love you, beanie guy!
I love beanie guy! He’s so smiley and positive lol
I'm happy they like our food, cuz they make pretty cool stuff that is all around my house.
I found it interesting that when someone really liked something they referred to it as “being my style”.
I loved the guy in the beanie. I'd take him home and buy him anything he wants. Lol
Good video, but it needs better sound quality.
Also, cookies in a package are never as good as homemade, and pizza Combos were my favorite flavor.
At least those cookies are properly soft and gooey. Most packaged cookies are dry as a bone and overly crunchy.
Wish I could get my hands on some homemade cookies...
To me, Combos seem dog treats. LOL
@@Koreaground get ingredients and bake them yourself
Beanie hat guy is an Honorary American :)
My kinda girl. Everything was a 10 for her except the combos. She knows how to eat.
The only video where the person picks the best american snacks for people to taste test
Shoutout to the editor for all the time spent pulling product name sound bites from commercials lol
I feel like the guy in the scarf came in thinking that the sweets from his country were the best so even though he was clearly enjoying the snacks he was determined to not give them a good score lol. Everyone else seemed more open
The guy / wife with the scarf needs to get in touch with life. And the guy with the beanie is great he loves everything so much i though he might be homeless and grateful for food lol. And the girl who guessed the cookies taste like the ones at Subway is pretty cool too.
Beanie dude was my favorite. He had nice reactions and was so cool and chill 😆
The girl who liked everything is cuter then a puppy 🐶!!!!!
The purple beanie guy is super hot. ^-^
If you liked the rice krispies you should try them homemade. They are wayyy better lol.
And you can use different cereals too homemade I love my Chex (corn Chex) and I turn them into Chex squares instead of Rice Krispies
Yes, they should have gotten better snacks!
I have no interest in Korea but I’m addicted to watching these videos
I love the beanie guy lol he knows whats good.
I'm so proud of my country right now
The hat guy is awesome :)
Dude in the beanie is on my level. Or must be high..... which is still on my level 😂😂😂
The guy in the beanie seems the most chill, Western cat.
He paints for a living, an artist
Love the dude in the beanie
This was adorable 🐶
the guy in a scarf keeps on saying the tastes are too strong wtf does that man eat fucking air?????
I know right. So snobby
lol cause most korean food aren't too salty or sweet.
exactly. like for example, It's not like most of the Westerners love Seafood. I personally feel offended for the sashimi's being spit out lol
i'm honestly surprised a lot of them liked the snacks since koreans usually think american snacks are way too salty/sweet. when i went to korea and tried their snacks most of them tasted pretty bland so i see why they'd think the tastes are too strong.
Could we cut down on the hate?
(where is the love?)
I wonder how everyone is doing now
Omg i just think they are sooo cute love this😽😽
Wish the solo guy with the dyed hair could have the pretzel combos...I think he'd have been blown away
I've watched a lot of vids of them reacting to American food and I hear these words a lot " it's to salty" "the flavor is to strong" "is this edible" "its so sweet" "its smells weird" like is there anything you like
XOchEEr14 right I'm like can you leave now your messing up my day
And have you ever tried Korean food ? It's disgusting garbage ! No wonder they don't like real food ! lol
That rice krispie treat gave them more rice power! They loved it.
Loved the guy in the beanie bet he is a blast .He was like a kid in A CANDY STORE
4:04 I love how the voices change.
Beaine guy is so cute, his like a kid who's just gotten candy lol
When he said Reese's with toast I was amazed that sound so good
When that guy rated the pretzels a 1 my jaw HIT THE FLOOR. I will not get over this
Watching them made me hungry, did they eat them in one sitting?
The guy with the blue beanie was rating everything really good he had the munchies
Addicting them to some awesome stuff .
You can tell that some prefer sweets and some prefer salty. Not too many who preferred both.
I like this one. Subscribed
