That's the first time anyone's been excited for default Cheerio's.
Totally agree ... he was the most excited out of all of them when trying the cereals.
Yeah, he wasn't reacting to the Cheerios, but to his partner's comment that they reminded her of Korean honey twisted breadsticks. At first I thought his awesome reaction was simply an overexcited "YES!! That's it! That's exactly what they taste like!", but his poorly translated next line "Admit that" does kind of seem to indicate he may be saying "I can't believe you admitted that you eat those!!", though why he'd be saying that is, well, culturally obscure.

They picked cereals that aren't so common in Korea. The testers mentioned "tiger" and "flakes" cereal which is probably Frosted Flakes. And Reese's Puffs are the bomb.

I was like that as a teenager and my early twenties. I ate Pops, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Frosted Corn Flakes. Sugary yumminess but so bad for you. When you're past your early twenties, you find yourself making life choices if you're going to function better and see food as fuel for your mind and body.
These days I drink a lot of water and eat a banana or a yam. It's quick. You can leave your home with it easily if you're going to eat on the way out. And it's way better for you than eating cereal loaded with bad sugars, carbs, and artificial flavors and colors.
A long flavorless life is not necessarily better than a short flavorful life. ;)
I like how they maintain their honesty without resorting to rudeness when explaining why they don't like certain foods.

They should use milk from America. Makes a huge difference because the milk in Korea tastes wildly different from the milk in America. I love milk in America, but I couldn't drink the milk in Korea (and I tried so many different brands of milk in Korea).

breakfast cereals changed. i hadn't eaten any since i was a kid and tried some a few years ago and they must use corn syrup as the sweetener instead of sugar to cut costs, now. they do that with a lot of processed foods. also, all the oat based breakfast cereals are better for starting your day than the corn based, but you're better off just eating real fresh whole foods than processed. the real question is, why do i like watching koreans try american foods so much? their reactions are so sweet even when they don't like something.

It made me nostalgic to hear him say he ate it as a KATUSA. Those guys taught me so much about Korean food when I was in Korea.
I'm an American from Philadelphia, PA and me and most of my family don't like cold cereal for breakfast. We do sometimes eat it as a snack after class but its usually frosted shredded wheat or honey nut cheerios. We find most of the other kinds too sweet.
It's exactly how I feel about cereals. I eat organic and less sugar and granola cereals. The artificial flavors and too sweet in cereals I just can't do it. I've tried it from when I was a little kid now and they don't taste as good as I like them when I was a kid so it makes me think that they changed something? It makes me think the brighter the Box the sweeter it is and it catches your attention as well

This was a staple for me growing up. Lucky Charms and CoCo Puffs were my goto breakfasts. Not the most healthy breakfast but it did the trick. I like Muesli and yogurt with fresh fruit these days. Nothing beats warm oatmeal, cinnamon, and raisins during the winter.
Wow! You are giving them some of the most insanely crazy sugary cereals that we have! These are pretty popular cereals, but they're more for kids in my opinion, even if some adults will still eat this stuff. But it's not a surprise that it's not exactly in line with Korean tastes. But they reacted to the cereals better than I expected.
I'm American is it gets and for the most part i avoid the cereal section in Walmart like the plague. Sure sometimes i indulge but its rare. If i want cereal i buy a bag of good granola mix its definitely healthier then most American cereal.

You can kind of tell their culture is more male dominant by how comfortable the guys are talking and how quiet the girls are and always deferring to the guys to lead the conversations. The girls also giggle and laugh more at things the guys say.

I'd recommend adding Crunchberries and Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and honey grahams or honey maid s'mores.
I like life cereal and rice ones... I also like one that's like frosted flakes but with granola and almonds.
