I personally prefer the bigger ships (was on the Harmony in June and I have the Wonder booked over New Year's 2023), but I don't snub the smaller ships. As a matter of fact, I'll be on the Liberty in January for Brandon's group cruise! Can't wait!
Wait, is this The Emma Cruises commenting on my videos?!?! My life is complete and there is nothing left to accomplish. 😃😃 Get ready for the big ship! Keep an open mind and have a blast! Lots to do and see, just don't allow it to over whelm you.
Sailing Freedom for the first time in December. been on Liberty many times, but she definitely needs some TLC. Looking very forward to seeing the amped up Freedom 😎
Thank you for making this video. My first cruise was on the Carnival Vista back in 2019. Now, my second sailing will be on this ship! I know the Freedom is older than the Vista so the experience might be different but somehow it still looks so prestigious from the inside and very resort like on the top deck which is awesome. This will also be my first time in a balcony stateroom so looking forward to that!
Great detailed video, Brandon. We are going on Freedom in October. I was wondering where on the ship we could get juices and smoothies? I saw you said Squeeze was closed and Freedom doesn't have a Vitality cafe.
Hey Cynthia! Hate to be the bearer of bad news but there will not be anywhere on Freedom to get juices and smoothies. The Windjammer can make you fresh squeezed orange juice but that will be it :-(
Ahh...so this is what you were doing while I was drinking Coco Loco's in the Oasis Lagoon! I do love this class of ship. To me it's just the right size. I'll go Oasis and always come back to this class. Again, I am so glad to have found you onboard and enjoyed meeting and chatting with you very much!
Thanks for the tour! Just the way it worked out, I have mostly sailed on Voyager class. Freedom just looks a little bigger all around! Great kid pool area.
GREAT TOUR Brandon!!!! I can't wait for our family reunion trip on this ship on the 21st!!!! Unfortunately looks like we may have 2 days of thunderstorms!!! I'm gonna share this video with everyone so they can see this beautiful ship!!! Sorry you won't be on it!!
Brandon, thanks for the tour. We will be back on the Freedom on 10/24. It’s our first time back in twelve years. Is Cindy still on board in Future Cruises? This will be a warm up for the Symphony on 10/29. We normally cruise the Navigator since we’re west coast. We have been cruising RCI since 2004. Love both RCI and Celebrity. Thanks again for sharing. Great job.
I watched your Pinicle video. I understand that it takes 700+ points to get to Pinicle and that it's 1 point per day. It would take a little more than 2 years to reach Pinicle if you're sailing every single day. How long did it take for you to reach pinnacle status if you sail every weekend? 10 years?
The first 700 took me from 2015 to 2021. My second 700, took just at a year. Here is the video where I go into details on how that happened. ruclips.net/video/YGNVtqqATgA/видео.html
@@TheWeekendCruiser Yep, We didn't go down to Cocoa Cay that day because Freedom OTS got there after the Independence OTS that day. We prefer only 1 ship at Cocoa Cay at a time due to overwhelming number of guests.
Before 9:00am and after 10:30am. Breakfast is the main issue. Boarding day it is also slammed until around 1:00pm when people can move their bags to their room.
Not at the moment. Most of the time, the demand at that port warrants a larger ship. However, you can get smaller if you don't mind doing New England sailings.
Hey Frannie and welcome!! I call it my "home ship" because it is the ship I go to often. These days, Freedom of the Seas is based in Miami doing 3-night weekend sailings that I go on just about every weekend. I do not reside their or have a permanent address but when I show up, I always feel like I am coming home :-) Just looked, have done 36 cruises and 117 nights on Freedom. Most in the last 2 years.
@@TheWeekendCruiser thank you so much for clarifying that. With dvc in Disney (Disney vacation club) you have home resort im like does royal Caribbean have a time share ?? 😂😂😂 I binged on a lot of your videos the other day and they are super helpful!! Thank you and happy cruising
@@franniemolina7026 haha OMG if they had a time-share option for cruise ships, I would be in trouble!!! Can you only imagine the yearly maintenance for that plan!
We love the Freedom class ships ! Very sad to see them being used for 2-3-4 day sailing, Would love to see at least one of them doing 6-7-8-9 night sailings out of Lauderdale or Orlando. Not worth flying to Florida for 2-3-4 night sailing, We refuse to sail the Oasis class. which seems what Royal is trying to force people on.
I hear you and same! I like them for all lengths but they are great for longer sailings. Yes, I believe Royal thinks bigger is better is the way of the future.
I love that main dining room! Such lovely windows. 👏🏼👏🏼
I’ve never tried a big big Royal Caribbean ship but… I’VE JUST BOOKED SYMPHONYY!!! 😀❤️

I still can't believe the one time I got onboard YOUR ship for a weekend cruise you weren't there! Thanks for the tour of your home away from home!
hahaha, it's okay, we still find each other on random ships!
Sailing Freedom for the first time in December. been on Liberty many times, but she definitely needs some TLC. Looking very forward to seeing the amped up Freedom 😎
You will love Freedom Michael!! It's like a super nice Liberty!
This is probably the best & most thorough ship tour ever, Brandon! We can all see your depth of knowledge of your home ship & why you love it so much.
Aww thanks Jerry!
Love those plastic palm trees! I want some for my garden. Ha ha. 😂❤
ha, a plastic palm tree is probably the only type of plant I could keep alive!
@@TheWeekendCruiser Ha ha, I'm at my desk at the moment with my trusty 2 plastic plants. I'm a terrible plant parent :')
I love Freedom class ships. I think they hit a sweet spot in size. The cabins are spacious and have lots of storage.
Thank you! We are going on Freedom next week! Cant wait. I made some notes from this video, very helpful!!
Thanks Roxx and glad you enjoyed!
Excellent video! Thanks for sharing!

Great tour. Loved all the little details you added. I appreciate you imparting your experience and knowledge.
Thank you! Very proud of my home ship :-)
I've been on your Home Ship's sister ship, Independence OTS, 5 or 6 times now. It is interesting to see the subtle differences.
It really is! Especially, if you are like me and you stay on Freedom a lot and THEN go to Indy.... my mind can't process it lol

the kid pool is def one of the step ups in this class. Thank you!
Hey Brandon, thank you for another great video.
Thanks for tour, i booked for January 23rd one looking forward to seeing it in person

Great job! loved the tour, makes me want to go on the Freedom!
I can't get back there anymore!! No more tours without paying.
What amazing tour! Maybe sometime you can show us some backstage of the food and shows 😉
freedom is my favorite ship! the Giovanni on that ship has ruined all my other Jamies and Giovanni experiences because it was so good on freedom!
I will 100% agree with that!
Great tour...

The Next Cruise desk just changed over a bit this past week. I have met them but honestly am blanking on their names. Welcome back!
