- In this update we check out the reopening of Antarctica, all of the new progress at the Penguin Trek construction site, the rumored 2025 project, and other things going on around SeaWorld Orlando as of May 25st, 2024!

So refreshing to see Antarctica reopened
I know! It was great to finally be able to walk all the way across again!
I love that they kept the same themed music. I hope they use Lauren Alaina’s song as a part of the ride itself again. The final brakes back into the building would be perfect.
It’s only a matter of time until we find out! :)
Yah its kinda weird hearing her song playing throughout the entire park except the one place it should actually play
Soo... There is a job listing for Chick-Fil-A at SeaWorld... plot twist Wild Arctic becomes the new Chick Fil A!
I just heard about that not long ago! If they did, I’d lose all faith in the park lol

@jcj0506 I don’t think they would since it would interfere with the ice theme outdoors. I hope they add more stuff outdoors though

Penguin Trek actually tested today. It ran as the rain was slowing.

@@drewchaboo719 in the later years it was a shell of its former self. Personally i'm a fan of this change and hope its going to be a quality attraction.
Wow Antarctica looks amazing. It makes me miss SeaWorld. I guess riding El Toro and Kingda-Ka will have to hold me over. Kevin where should I sit on Kingda-Ka today I sat towards the back of the train and I think it tried to kill me it shook so bad I thought the wheels were going to fall off going down the launch track. I have never been left speechless on a rollercoaster before. I didn't know how to react, tomorrow I want the best ride possible. Is the front a good place to sit? Where do you prefer to ride. I'm nervous the front row will try to rip my face off.
Personally I love riding in the front row in the right seat. Typically it’s much smoother up from but every once in a while I do love a crazy intense back row ride.
I do like that blue but I wish it matched with the rock work like it used to love the updated features of the land ❤
I agree but it is a nice change of pace! I just hope they bring the snow mobile back!

I went over spring break and they were still doing construction to the inside of penguin trek
Haha sadly they still are for the ride section.
Update: Testing has started back up 2 test runs where sent. It seems they do not like people recording though as they stopped shortly after they saw me.
I don’t think they mind that. When they were testing a few weeks back everyone filming would have to wait an hour or more between test runs so they are mostly just fine tuning the ride.
@@Kingdakev Yeah I was told to stop by a worker in which I did and went on my way and they stopped testing shortly after that.
@@typicaluser4116 Strange since its in a highly visible area so who cares if you film. As long as its not being shoved through a fence and is visible from the midway it shouldn't make a difference.
@@Kingdakev Oh yeah I get it, in which I have some common sense to not do that. I was by the new ramp but I guess it could of just been the worker just being a worker. I showed it to a supervisor and they where fine with it.
@typicaluser4116 I’m sorry they did that. Yes you should have no issues filming there because clearly you’re not doing anything wrong. Hopefully they start chilling out with it

@@Kingdakev im all the way in Alaska at the moment, so that is unlikely... maybe one day when i get back to Florida i might bump into her and Dan. i just got a year and 3 months left in my contract up here and then i can go home...

At this point I would say mid to late June, closer to late.
Is that one of the two hotels going up at 10:40??
That is the rumored site for the larger of the two hotels. At this time it looks like it’s just site prep for it. To my knowledge, no permits have been approved for construction to start so I don’t think anything will be going vertical anytime soon so hopefully it does soon!
