This is my families favorite dish. I have always used cottage cheese rather than ricotta and also use the mozzarella cheese rather than parmigiana. ❤️. I’m an old girl myself maybe that’s why this has always been my recipe. Thank you for sharing.
I love your recipe! FYI any of the box lasagna is oven ready. It only has to be parboiled or put in hot water for a few minutes if you want it pliable when layering.
Baking it now. Thank you for sharing. The lower layer had a lot less filling cause I didn't know how to anticipate the number of layers. Can't wait to eat it though. And hopefully it doesn't boil over like someone said. I used half the tomato sauce cause a family member doesn't like it. Put some Alfredo on the bottom. One layer has some added spinach as well.
Help! I was wondering if I could make this 3 days ahead with out having the noodles mushy? I'm think8ng I'll wait till Christmas to be safe. Thank you ! Excellent video
@@DanielleLaShawn Thank you. I ended up making it on Christmas day but I filled the pan too high and it boiled over setting off the smoke alarm.. Cant be Christmas with -out a little action, right? Have a Wonderful New year and blessings for 2023.
I've NEVER made lasagna.... And, I've NEVER heard of "Oven-Ready" Lasagna!? I thought all pasta had to be cooked before putting it into a dish! I'm so happy I came across this video; however, I DO wish that the measurements were specified...like, how much cottage cheese? Ounces? How much pasta sauce? Ounces? I'm a measuring kind of cook...other than that...I want to reach through my screen and eat your lasagna! LOL
lol I did the entire large container of cottage cheese. It is 24 oz. I always use 2 jars of sauce. The normal sized jars are 24 oz so 48 oz of sauce total.
I felt the same way the first time I heard about it. I got the idea from the Pioneer Woman and continue to loosely follow her recipe. You might be surprised if you try it.

Oh, good! It was right on time then. Lol
Never made lasagna & thinking of trying it. You make it look soo easy. Ty!!
This was the best lasagna recipe I found yet quick, easy and delicious.... myself and my family thank you so much... I subscribed ‼️
Thank you so much! I'm happy you liked it.
Thank you iam going to make this today I just didn't really know how to make the noodles because it says oven ready but thank you for sharing
You dont have to cook the noodles beforehand
I use a 60/40 mix of Ricotta and cream cheese. It's really good you should give it a try. The 60% is cream cheese
That's probably so good! Cream cheese adds something to every recipe.
I am going to try this tonight because you made this look so easy and delicious. Thank you for sharing!
Hope you enjoy it!
OMG!!! That looks so good!!! Thanks so much for doing this recipe...I love watching your cooking video's!!!
Thanks so much

Glad I could help!
Is it truly vegetarian if it's cooked in the same pan with meat?
It is a meat lasagna. I did not share a recipe for a vegetarian lasagna.
Lasagna is my favorite dish :) got the ingredients but like this video to guide me in what to do 😊
🥰

Sorry, just seeing this. You can assemble it and then freeze it. Just pop it in the oven when you're ready to cook it. I would bake it on 325 or 350.

Very Good !

This looks so good Danielle.
I've been trying not to watch food channels cuz I'm on a diet and it makes me crave stuff 😋
Still support you though 👍🏽
Lol, thank you for your support. We're about to be in the same boat. My weight is out of control. 😩😩
Does it have to be oven ready lasagna?
No, you can definitely boil the noodles first if you want. Oven ready is just easier because it lets you skip a step.
I have used this recipe and video many times for the fam. I am using it right now to cook a romantic dinner for my lady 😍.
So glad it's been coming in handy
Thank you for this. I watched it and made it and my family enjoyed it 😁😊
Glad you enjoyed it! 😊
Yum! Cheers from a new subscriber
Cheers!
What kind and brand are the noodles
I think I got them from Lidl. I used the oven-ready lasagna. Any brand will work.
Nice but I prefer fresh garlic and fresh onions...
Feel free to use it. It'll be delicious.
You making one side without meat but using same spoon with meat on it
Because my daughter isn't allergic to or avoiding meat altogether, she just doesn't like it in her pasta.
what is the temture
350
Wow never seen anyone use cottage cheese. I use ricotta .
I got the recipe from the pioneer woman and it's really good. Ricotta works too though.
I actually prefer cottage cheese over ricotta it melts perfectly, trust it's a game changer. 😋
I don't like cottage cheese but it looks good
I don't either, but you don't taste the flavor of it. It just tastes cheesy, meaty, and saucy once everything is combined.
Never tried it with cottage cheese..only ricotta. 🤔
I felt the same way the first time I heard about it. I got the idea from the Pioneer Woman and continue to loosely follow her recipe. You might be surprised if you try it.
I hate ricotta cheese lasagna godda**
Ive made full on homemade noodles i worked by hand. The oven ready it. You dont taste the noodle but its soft
Also that lasagna. Wtf even is lasagna
The ground beef was still pink ma …………
I'm pretty sure it was about to be baked
you should’ve try boiling your noodles first
I didn't want to have to boil them which is why I bought the oven ready ones.
