Exactly how a documentary should be. No shouty narrator or banging music in the background trying to make it more exciting, just a clearly spoken, steady voice allowing us to hear and absorb the information without distraction.
This is my favorite documentary on the Bermuda Triangle. I was born in Puerto Rico and lived in Miami for many years. I've been on the water, under the water and over the water of the Triangle more times than I can count. I think 95% of the cases have a mundane answer. But I think there is enough evidence to say that some of the missing might be due to unnatural events and this video gives a good solid answer.
Thanks for uploading. Wonderful to see this again. As a teenager I recorded this from the TV sometime back in the 80s and watched it many times with fascination.
I remember watching this documentary on an old worn out VHS tape from Video Ezy when I was a kid back in the late 80s. I'm glad to see there is a copy still kicking around after all this time. One of my favourites for sure 👍
Brilliant documentary. Between this and the 'In Search Of..' series, it makes me wish they still made them like this. Today there is too much sensationalism, over dramatizing, cheesy special effects, awful crash zooms and crazy filters. Just keep it simple and informative like this gem of a programme. Cheers for the upload.
DarkLight753 Agree...that stupid cymbal "shhhhhhSHHHHHH!!!" They always do before they reveal some tiny bit of info...just before a commercial. Everything is made for morons these days.
Landsburg produced quality show and documentaries. Peter Tompkins as lead investigator for this gained fame for The Secret Life of Plants with Chrisopher Byrd, and Mysteries of the Great Pyramid of Egypt.
I love these old books and documentaries in the 1970s the voice on the tape sounds like Darth Vader's voice in the original star wars movies that was scary.
Great documentary. Whatever the cause of all the disappearances and lack of wreckage, it’s a fascinating story and clearly something strange is behind it.
When I was a kid the famous book entitled The Bermuda Triangle was a Bestseller. The kids board game came out and with the same name - then this movie appeared to cash in on the Mania. Pure Wonderful 70 Kitsch...
Yes she is and a lot more to her I believe then what we know. Love this. Allen Lansburg also did the Brilliant old TV series In Search Of. Love the spooky 70s music era I grew up in. Love investigation, time's back then were way better. Not all everything , but better than this technology, mind wipering dizziness windshield wiper world we live in today.
If you are referring to the 1978 documentary, narrated by Hugh Douglas, and released by American National Enterprises, yes, indeed. In fact, it's posted right here on this channel, the second video, uploaded over 9 years ago. Hope this helps.
@@paranormalvideosyoumayhave2581 thanks! Also would you happen to have a documentary about ghosts in Britain that was filmed in the 1970s? It included the one where a boy was beheaded and his mother placed a curse on the castle that was responsible for his execution along with the ghost of the woman who took her life after her father who was the commandant that killed her fiance. Thank you again!
@@Apache_warrior_74 You're welcome. Glad to be of help. Regarding the other movie you have described, I don't rightly know what it would be. My best guess is: "Land of Celtic Ghosts", narrated by Richard Basehart, released in 1979 by Gold Key Entertainment. Even if that is the one, unfortunately, I don't have it in my video library. It may be available somewhere, however. Again, hope this info helps.
Almost 6 minutes to beginning the movie Any way I saw UFO when I was 8 , absolutely incredible, it was right on my head about less than 40 meters, than its slowly begin coming down, we scared and running away..
There is a portal in that area, i have experience there passing in a circle of fogs then my compass revolving and few minutes when the fogs gone everything was back to normal, i see also at night a ball of lights from the skies very strange! before i dont really look into this, but now i already know a lot of incedence like me is cannot be ignored! only they dont talk about this for public awareness!
The EM effect is caused by earthquakes on the ocean floor, ships are swallowed whole by huge bubbles of Methane released from cracks in the ocean floor. Planes also can become victim to this effect where compasses won't work from the EMP and methane causes the planes piston engines to stop cold. However there are time effects and flying saucers sightings that can't be explained so easily.
I think Taylor gave the Navy the finger for not being granted leave. Killing his crew and four other planes and the Albatross flight that went to search. I would have peeled away and claimed I lost sight of Taylor, flying home to catch the movie.
Yeah,Ronald. I heard that mention of a cellphone, during part showing the re-enactment of the Coast Guard response to the missing Cessna, I think. It's a rather careless oversight which should really have been edited out.But it's the only glitch that stood out to me, in an otherwise fine production. As for the WD40 causing erratic compasses? Do you mean when it's applied to compasses as a lubricant? or..... Reason I ask is 'cause I don't know of any compass that needs lubrication,as such. Thanks.
@ "cappnzak".... after having watched this documentary more-than-once, I still don't know what you're talking about.... There was not one mention of a "cellphone" because (of course) these things did not exist in 1977, when these re-enactments were made.... Where was the so-called "careless oversight" ? ? ?

Best documentary on the Bermuda Triangle by far.
Charles Berlitz for me.
This is my favorite of these old Bermuda Triangle documentaries. Entertaining stuff.
Anyone who takes the time and effort to find, upload and share these great glimpses into the past deserves credit. Thanks Channel person.
Thanks for your interest. It's gratifying to know that these efforts are, indeed, appeciated.

Interesting I remember seeing this when I was younger.
I love these old documentaries. So much more transparent than current times!
Love these vintage documentary shows!!This was a great one!!
Thank you so much for this upload. I've been after this show for years. I remember watching as a kid.
Thanks :)
No problem. Glad to make these movies available once again to those interested in them.
Although dated it is one of my favorites about the bermuda triangle. Great info on flight 19 still not found.
i like these old documentaries like this
Me too!!!❤
Thanks for uploading. Wonderful to see this again. As a teenager I recorded this from the TV sometime back in the 80s and watched it many times with fascination.
I flew thru the Bermuda Triangle a couple of times, I'm still here. It's a common air route. But, the world is still full of mysterious things.
Brilliant and fascinating...way beyond coincidence and hearsay.

This is amazing!!!!!! Thanks for posting!!!! I haven't seen this in years.... and this is one of my favorites to watch....

I agree,
DarkLight753 Agree...that stupid cymbal "shhhhhhSHHHHHH!!!" They always do before they reveal some tiny bit of info...just before a commercial. Everything is made for morons these days.
.... you may also notice some of the names in the credits match those of people who worked on the "In Search Of..." TV series....
Agreed, and lest we forget the douchey "dudebros" being drama queens with that tired night vision/green light. It's so hokey it's embarassing.

This documentary made me the man I am today.

Peter Tompkins is a very distinguished host, that's what makes this documentary so interesting.
He drinks brandy from a crystal snifter will enjoying a good pipe, in his wooden study.
Great documentary. Whatever the cause of all the disappearances and lack of wreckage, it’s a fascinating story and clearly something strange is behind it.
I have gone on several cruises through that area and I’m still here.
Most survivors say that.

thank you very much have been looking for this one for an long, long, time.
No problem, glad to oblige. Thanks for your interest.
a good documentry.. I also like and enjoy Charles Birtlitz's Bermuda Triangle documentry. that came out in 1979.
Both excellent!

Good video👍💥
Has anyone heard of a UFO documentary from the 1970s called " are we alone in the universe"?

Me Too.Trrying hard to Forget.
Strange that Peter Tompkins did not turn out a book on this subject.
This is similar to the 411 mystery! Whatever this is messes with the mind
There are still boats missing in the triangle!
Almost 6 minutes to beginning the movie

I was reading about that the other night about the cyclops.

the great pyramid was built by job..
There is 6,000 years of recorded history yet archaeology keeps finding that human beings have been on earth longer than that.
