7 hours screen on time took z fold 4 off charger at 730 am and still have 20 percent battery @1030 pm. Works for me.
Amazing efficiency coming from the chipset.
The problem with every reviewers benchmarks is that they speak in comparison to the highest benchmark at time of making that particular video.
While that is an important note - for your average person that doesn't upgrade phone every year, they will see a much more notable improvement in battery life than how they're lead to believe from various reviews.
Agreed, battery life is pretty great. Would had thought it would had been a problem with the smaller battery vs the S22 Ultra. But the SD 8+ Gen 1 has been great.

That is a perfect result. I dont get the same results on my fold 4, it drains much faster, but lets see how it improves over time, I still have it only for approx. two weeks.
Snapdragon 8+ gen 1 making a huge difference! Maybe the s23 ultra would finally beat the pro max line up in battery life with the 8 gen 2!
This is crazy battery if you take into consideration the almost 2 hour gaming session!!! I don’t remember mine having such a good performance! I am thinking about getting a fold 4 for personal usage and keeping the pro max just for work.
That is what I get with the S21 ultra Exynos version, I was expecting that the fold 4 do worst but it seems that the snapdragon chip is very efficient

No it's not. Real world usage on z fold 4 is maximum 4-5 hours of heavy use
Jeez, consider returning it before it reaches 14 days? My Z Flip having to be charged 5 times a day drove me crazy and I'd advise you not to make the same mistake 🥺
I'm experiencing differently. For me it's about 7h screen on time with regular usage exactly like in the video clip.
It really depends on how many apps and widgets and how much you use it
actually got 9hrs a few days ago but def not getting that everytime but def better battery than I've had on my Note 20 Ultra
5 months later now are you still getting great battery life on this phone ? I'd love a thumbs up or down if you see this. I'm still rocking the fold 3 and the battery life is awful. Maybe getting 4 hours sot max.

I'd love to see the battery life comparason with using ONLY the Outer display , Then Outer display + Battery saver enabled , and inner display with battery saver also enabled! and using only 60hz instead of the 120hz
My s22 ultra dies at 5 hours screen on time... this video convinced me to trade up!!!
I'd say the dark mode makes a difference. Just got the phone and after about an hour messing with it, it's at 82%. Seems to be a bit higher drain. But will continue testing it.
Usually phone takes sometime to learn your pattern and optimize battery usage. Could improve soon since you mention you just got it?

Im getting trash battery on this phone. What is the software version on it. Gone from 100% to 74% in 5h 30 mins with 1 hr 20 mins sot.

I certainly dont, I am beginning to think there is a problem with mine, I generally end up with 25% after around 12hrs thats with no dbl screen use at all

he almost didnt use chrome, i guess thats the reason he got good SOT! today i used mostly netflix and i hit 8 hours SOT with 20% left in the tank! i guess the scrolling kills the battery

The battery life on the 4 is insane! That's so great. Can't wait to see the battery life on the 5. I hope they move away from the smaller battery lighter phone crap. We NEED bigger batteries on these babies. When I'm home I can kill my Fold 3 in 4 to 5 hours cause I'm on it nonstop.
Can take mine off the charger at 5.30am and it be dying by 4pm, it’s not even my main device either it’s my secondary
However I work in a building with poor reception so it might spend a lot of the day hunting for signal
Ever since Samsung changed from Super Amoled to Dynamic Amoled their phone display has been horrible. The white point is way off. The only thing I see on my S22 Plus is greenish yellow color. If I take pictures of humans are greenish, web pages are greenish, everything green. I'm just keeping it to give it to Google for the pixel 7 pro.

@@doobychanel3748 I have it. It's great! My battery lasts me the entire day and I only charge it to 85% to prolong battery life. Of course, I'm not on my phone too heavy so maybe that's why it lasts me the entire day.

Good video. But that has to be the worst case I've ever seen. Lol
can't be charging it up to 100% and letting it go down to 10% all the time on any phone because this decreases the battery life from 5 years down to 1.5 years. you have to charge it between 40% up to 85%. in fact on all newer phone like the galaxy, they got a max charge setting set to 85%. so if your phone reaches 40%, put it on the charger and the phone will charge it up to 85% and will stop charging at 85%
But who's keeping this phone for 5 years tho?
@@Princegio23 you want the battery capacity slope to be as flat as possible (percentage of the capacity of a brand new one on the Y-axis and time in years on the x-axis) because if you continue charging from 10% to 100%, the battery degrade faster after ONE YEAR. the slope will go down much faster
@@a552bcx I understand but that's how I been charging my phone for years and I never had problems with my phone battery. They always stay the same
@@Princegio23 you got use to the degradation over time. get a new oem battery on the same phone and use it like you would right now, I'm quite sure you'll notice the difference just like i did on my note 9. i got 1 more hour of screen on time with my new oem battery
