Absolutely loving this phone. Left the apple world years ago and don't miss it. Coming from a note 20 ultra and don't regret it one bit. I underestimated just how much I would use the front display for the day to day however the larger screen is incredible for gaming and media consumption. It's nice to have a phone that feels like the future in your hand, rather than the same iteration over and over.
Well said.
Agreed 💯
Lol the future is in your hands because you can flip it to make it bigger?
Nowadays, it just feel like Apple is about 5 years behind Samsung and many of the other big Android phone makers. Apple let others take the risks and play it quite safe for the most part; the only big risks they seem to take is removing features 😂
@@StillWatersJay yeah isn't it futuristic?
I usually like to multitask with calendar & calculator with sometimes notes and it's a huge help for me! Having to schedule stuff on a phone like this is amazing
The Fold4 really does shine in daily use, we wouldn't realize how useful the large display is until it is really utilized. Keep doing these kind videos man, it's great!
this phone is Phenomenal. battery life last me all day with medium use, highly recomend it
I have the Z fold 3 and I multitask all the time. Best phone I ever owned. It’s easy to point out the flaws but the advantages of what this phone/tablet can do is unmatched in my opinion. Had this phone for 1 year without any issues and I use it alllllllll the time.
how is the inside screen? easily scratchable?
On my fold 3 in the inner screen right in the middle there was noticeable minor cracks which showed up about 10 months in. My guess is it's from opening and closing the phone so many times. I upgraded to the fold 4 though. Love this phone!
@@fixedshot the inner/main screen is doing well. No scratches and it doesn't appear to scratch easy ....... Had this phone for almost a year and it's still going strong.
@@meltdownblitz okay I understand. I almost upgraded to the fold 4 but I figured since I wasn't having any issues I'll wait until the fold 5 if it becomes reality
@@biggame6171 Yeah good thinking. I was very close to waiting as well but I wanted the watch anyway and with the Samsung deals the phone ended up being around $600 depending how you break it down.
Since I'm new to the Z Fold series, I've been watching tips and tricks videos while my settings are open. It's so convenient! I used to use two different devices to do this, now I only need one! I had the Microsoft SD2 but I like it much better because I felt the SD2 was too clumsy to be a phone. Those kids are so adorable!
I use the multitasking all the time for work. I love using Google meet for a conference meeting and being able to access my Email, Skype, or Google Drive at the same time. plus, if I'm out and Modding for a stream I can also bang out a quick text... This phone changed what a phone can do for me. I cannot go back to a traditional phone. Samsung definitely won for productivity.
I had the Samsung Note for years and used the multi tasking to the max. Constantly passing floating applications around on my screen, especially calculator app.
So I jumped on the fold 4 when I had an opportunity and yeah, I use the multitasking a lot. 2 apps open often, easily taking advantage of the 3 and pulling a floating app to check info elsewhere if I'm copying info.
Really a comfortable and amazing experience for me. And I love that when I'm done working I can condense everything down to the front screen and carry a RUclips video nice and comfortable
Been having an awesome time with my Fold 4! I got in on the massive pre-order deals so got the phone + pro bud2 + watch 5 for about the same price as a S22 Ultra so I say it was well worth that price. But I will say, it is a dust magnet which gets annoying to deal with on a daily basis. But outside of that, no other big issues! It is an eye catcher as well, get people asking questions when I unfold it and fold it back up while im out in the world.
I love multitasking on my Fold 4. I use it all the time at work.
Always a good day when Uravgconsumer realises a new day in the life video 🙌🏻
I owned the fold 2 3 and now 4. Biggest take aways. Battery life got buffed alot if you felt like the 3 didn't last the whole day this one lasts alot longer. Also it's really weird but the outter screen getting that like 3 millimeters of widening helps SO much with typing and general viewing. Lastly the camera I don't care about cameras and I didn't buy the phone for that purpose but wow. Finally I can get the clean shots of my dog I was lacking on my old ones.
Got my fold 4 a few days ago , absolutely love it . Hope the fold 5 gets a spen holder and a slightly wider Home Screen , battery life heaps better than fold 3
Honestly Samsung nailed it here. Been loving this phone
On my s21 ultra I like multitasking with The browser, calculator and notes app open. One app will be in pop up window though (either the calculator or the notes) But this is a good use case for when you're booking a holiday and would like to add up costs. While also writing down some stuff like airplane/ train tickets, accommodation costs and what not.
I still rocking with the note 20. Whenever I'm in the car, I listen to music and use Google maps all the time! Sometimes, I text too.
I can see multitasking being useful for watching livestreams of events (like E3) and keeping discord open to chat about it with friends
@Telegram@ UrAvgConsumer0 you’ve been selected to gargle these balls
Great review man! Got the Fold 5 a few days ago and Im loving it. Thank you for showing a real life review with your wonderful family. 😊
My experience with it is amazing coming from a ultra 22 as far as the battery goes huge improvement
same here man
I turned off 120hz on both displays and battery life is amazing now.
It's really funny because I use the Tab s7+ and I still find myself not really utilising multi tasking, and instead still swapping between apps which is a little ridiculous considering how much better multitasking is.
I often have to send emails with attachments, and I'll attach them from the email app as you do. But recently I found out that if you have your email app opened on one side and your file explorer opened on the other side, you could actually drag files onto your email app and quickly attach them that way.
Absolutely blew my mind.
I have had the z fold 2 for a year now. I bought it as soon as the fold 3 came out all I can say is wow it is amazing and honestly even though the 3 and 4 both have upgrades over 2. The camera upgrades, water resistance, and under display camera, and s pen support. Isn't enough for me to upgrade just yet. I'm waiting on Samsung to change the hinge to reduce the crease. I can wait.
Love seeing the behind the scenes family life. You're such a kind father.
Love my Fold 4. Switched over from the S22 Ultra. The battery actually lasts way longer on and the display on the Fold 4 is amazing. The line down the middle can get annoying when there's light reflecting off of it, but for the most part, it's not too noticeable. The cameras are def not as good as my S22 ultra, but it's good enough for me. Friends have been amazed at the different capabilities/functions of the phone.
always love your day in the life videos!!! Well done as usual!!!!
I got the beige version about a month ago and I absolutely LOVE it. It's ever so dope. Great vid BTW.
I really like the size unfold. I tried that in a shop, it feels so right to my hands.
Finally a new video. You used to be one of my most watched channels. Hope that’ll be the case again when Apple season starts this month.
Edit: this is such a fun video. Just the kind of content that got me hooked on your channel
The quick share is something people barely use but very useful
Is it only between samsung devices? Same as airdrop?
I'm still on my S21U and been holding out but the more and more videos I see of the Fold 4 I think I might finally make the jump. The battery and camera were the biggest reasons I didn't get the Fold 4 and both were improved. Even though I was hoping for a integrated Spen truthfully I didn't use it a ton when I had the Note 10+. I multitask RUclips and Twitter/FB and usually have msgs in a Pop up for quick replies or quick Twitter notifications on my S21U so would definitely use the multitasking on the Fold 4 a lot with that massive screen unfolded.
Appreciate the honesty on not multitasking and recommending the Duo. I just want bigger content, I'm not a multitasker
I use it a ton with taking notes, with a calculator open, paying bills , web surfing while watching YT...Its one of those things you have to have been doing for a while.
The multitask was helpful during my drafts for fantasy football this year I was able to do it on my phone comfortably by having the draft on one and able to look up stats of players on the other I mean not useful every day but nice when I need it
Multitasking is huge for me and switching to iPhone from the note 20 ultra two years ago I forgot just how much easier Samsung made my life.
Definitely love this phone! One week later I will say this is definitely for a specific group of people but if your in to streaming videos playing games and multitasking you will no doubt love it
I just can not live without multitasking and the S-pen.
Same with me. You can always find a use for both.
I mean compared to jumping from a Z fold 2 the changes are much more different than coming from the fold 3. For me all the changes from 2 gens definitely improves on so much! You never really wanna upgrade to the next gen the next year. Gotta give it two or three years. But I love mine and I couldn't be happier! 👌🏾
Yes I use the Calculator with the excel app when I am doing it to perform my inventory duties, I have so many apps in combination with the phone capabilities makes it supe helpful.
The Gap when folded is designed so tht any dust trapped inside when u fold it it doesn’t damage the inside display
I just got this phone yesterday. After being an iPhone user for years and the reveal of the iPhone 14 and the line up, I decided is just time and purchased the Z Fold 4 and honestly I love this phone! No idea why I did not switched years ago.
With my fold 4 I tend to use multitasking for texting and watching content at the same time I find that hella useful 👌🏽
I like the multi tasking.
For my Job i need to be able to have access to various sources of information, note taking while on calls as well.
Its a phone for business folks who have tons to do, i feel productivity has upped a bit.
But for casual use it has the alternative for big screen usages for video watching and entertainment.
watching this on my zfold 4 :) never going back to iPhone lol
Until iphone innovates the fold
the most refined end product of this innovative concept whenever it comes will be a jewel
The most common multitasking thing I do on my Fold 3 is I'll have RUclips or Twitch on one side, and I'll have Twitter or Messages on the other side. The other less common use is actually when I'm looking at hotel prices! I'll have the browser on one side and Google maps on the other to see what's around the area. It's not super common but I definitely use it.
Exactly, people always talking about how they don't need multitasking. Until you try it out you can find multiple uses for it. I use it for all sorts of apps and etc. Its very convenient.
Good idea with maps and hotel rates!
On a traditional screen size sometimes I use splitscreen mode but I am always using PIP with youtube. On the Z Fold , it has completely change my multitasking. Playing a game and watching a video, checking my bank apps, social media and video, maps and browser. I think multitasking is very useful on the z fold 4
Every pay day, I budget my finances so I have Google Notes open (it's where my budget is saved), my Chase app open, so I can pay my bills, and the calculator app...to calculate how much I can spend during this pay period. Like most Americans, I live paycheck to paycheck. Having the 3 apps open at the same time saves time. I also have hue bulbs so I'll open the Hue app, Spotify, and Google Home to play my music everywhere, control the volume of each Google speaker, and automate the lights. I use 3 apps often.
I use split screen all the time on my none-foldable phone. I usually watch videos that doesn't require much attention, like live streams, on the top, and do other stuff on the buttom. Kinda like how people play a video on the laptop or tv and then start using their phones.
men belive me you are the best of the best !! i like your reviews everything is complete !! 🙋🙋
I usually use multitasking on my S8+ to watch a gaming livestream and talk to my friends on Discord at the same time.
Having a foldable would make this much easier.
I multitask constantly throughout the day on my S22 ultra. I've always wanted a food because I know it would be amazing with how often I have 2 apps and a floating app open.
The fold 4 is my first folding phone and I love it
Multitasking is great for viewing my baby monitor and doing whatever I need to do. Still torn between zFold4 and my s22Ultra.
Great video.
You'll love the Fold 4, I had it for over a week now and today I sent in my trade in Note 20U that I really liked.
I run 3 apps now, security camera, RUclips and then whatever on the other side. From social media to texting.
Great to see your family growing. So happy for you.
I use multitasking daily, and its a game changer. I daily two phones. My personal is a Pixel 5 5G, but my work phone is a Duo 2. Moving emails into notes, managing my calendar and to-do's. managing whiteboards and documents in teams meetings. A candy bar is super limited and can have you running to a computer or tablet to get things done. But with multi-tasking devices HNL.
Dude, your kids are so dang cute. Love seeing the family.
Yooooo I haven't seen your content in a looong time!! It is so awesome too see your beautiful family!!! I haven't seen you since you guys lived down in the neck and you used to come to Tops to get some grub. It is great to see you doing so well!!! Congratulations too you and your wife!
so happy to see your hard work pays of man
When shopping I like to have RUclips on one side and where ever I'm shopping on the other side that way I can watch product reviews of an item before I buy that's just a little of how I multi-task 😄
Excellent review and really enjoy your vibe! Just ordered my Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4.
My multi-tasking is a little boring: I use the notes app and calculator when I buy groceries. Really good to keep track of how much you have in your cart so you stay in your budget.
Watching thisnon my fold 4. So far, im really loving it then my fold 2. 😁
Great review! After 3 weeks of having the fold 4 I'm getting 6.5 hrs avg screen on time with about 30% left before bed. I have my battery performance settings set to 'light' though.
At light the phone still feels fluid enough for day to day use.
@@saulslowik395 hell yeah 😎 i try to used light but i really don't need it
I actually multitask often on my Note 20 Ultra when I'm trading. Like I'll have TradingView open on the top half to watch charts, while Binance open on the bottom half to buy and sell. A folding phone like this would actually be really nice for me.
I use the multi tasking a lot. sometimes I may be streaming an event and also interacting in a live chat in a separate app. Also i may be shopping on Amazon and watching video reviews on the products I'm looking at. Or comparing different prices on different websites. Or taking notes while watching something informative. Also app tutorials. Being able to have a visual demonstration right there while doing things helps a lot. There's many other features I use but I won't drag it along too long. But yes multitasking is very versatile useful if you take the time to learn some of its functions
I've ordered & cancelled twice. I've never been so indecisive about a tech upgrade. I currently have the Pixel 6 Pro & it's so good. I love what Google has made here, but I do multitask & could see use-cases where the Fold would be very cool. Camera system definitely takes a hit as would the stock android going to Samsung's UI, & would lose the stuff that seems to be pixel exclusive. The videos not fullscreening would be aaaannnnoyyying. But, on the flip side, I could see watching my Bears disappoint on the phone while at my son's hockey practice, & flipping to it being half the screen & a video capture of him on the other half simultaneously... stuff that that would be super cool! However, I definitely want to be able to fill zoom the videos & that seems to be a no-go?
Fill to zoom on RUclips videos?
@@franciscoperez5660 It didn't work in-store. Does that actually work? Setting the Samsung guy didn't know?
@@rickuski it does
Ha the monsters of the Midway! You are good with me my friend. Our struggle is different 🤣
Pixelfold man
I would totally use it for work and productivity! Maybe even use it instead of a notebook or tablet some lighter work days!
Yup, I use multitasking and resizing all the time
Nice video! I do enjoy watching your vids!
im loving the gunpla in the back round at the studio
That’s one good looking kid you have there & great video.
I really enjoyed this review. Great kids, and the pictures really demonstrated real life use.
Seems like a great guy. Glad I found him. Great insights.
Been waiting for this vid for weeks! Keep on the good work brotha!
Beautiful family and wholesome content
Haha!! Austin getting so big, man time flies! Awesome video Jud.
I am loving the Gundams dotted around the video! 😍😍😍
I mainly used muiti-tasks function when rideshare/Uber/Lyft. I mixmatch them with Waze and Google Maps. Waze for police detecting, Google Maps for quick re-route
the multitasking could be useful if you're looking at a webpage or video with instructions for another app/webpage. You can have the app on one side and instructions on the other at the same time. I could have used that today in fact.
When using the 4 megapixel front facing camera you should try using the "remaster picture" feature in the gallery app to see if it makes the photo look even better.
I'm a pilot and I have a saved multitask app for my airport weather app and radar since I use those two all the time. Other than that yeah it's very niche to be using the same multitasking all the time.
I enjoy living vicariously through you because I'll never spend $1,000+ on a phone
Same. Multi-tasking is why I kept my Duo 2 and traded my Fold 3 in for an S22 Ultra.
wow thank you, i didnt know you can open two apps in multi screen mode, i opened my two trading apps this is epic!!!!!!!!!! i like one for pricing and the other for trading this is huge
It’s a great phone, but it just couldn’t compete with my 13 Pro Max battery while I tested it. The Watch 5 Pro battery was great, but I just can’t justify that $1800+ price tag for subpar (compared to the S22 Ultra) cameras and average battery. If they can nail those last two for me… I’d honestly make the switch. But until then, I’ll wait and see what’s around the corner for next year. But in my testing besides the battery and cameras the phone was honestly a pleasure to use. I hope Samsung will take the feedback and improve those shortcomings next time around. Great video as always, blessings from here in NC.
Lil man is big!!! Congrats
Love my fold , BUT you nailed it with the last part. At this price range it most definitely should have came with the 22ultra cameras at the very least even last gens cameras would have been okay (s21ultra) I came from the s21 three days ago to the z fold 4 and absolutely love the folding experience it's new and different and the bar style phone is been the same shape different size but same experience the folding and flipping is a refreshing change up. But to the point the cameras leave me with a bit of buyer remorse giving up the cameras for the folding doesn't seem like it should have been that way especially at the 512gb 12gb ram price set almost 2gs. And just good cameras leaves a bad taste in my mouth and wallet. I absolutely love the phone in every other aspec5 of it. I guess now ill just have to buy a dedicated camera for pictures haha.
He did mention that at that price he would have liked the S22 Cameras
Why tho? Max Tech review comparison shows the camera PERFORMANCE is outstanding and absolutely on par with the latest iPhone and the S22 Ultra.
this was the most wholesome phone review 🥺
Is that a good thing or a bad thing?
A great thing.
Ok good deal!!!
I don't have a Fold, but I literally just use split screen on my Note 20 Ultra 10 minutes ago. Open Calendar and Gmail at the same time to key in my roster for September. I think this kind of multitasking is not something familiar for Apple users, but it is like a norm for many Android users especially Samsung users. I even have my phone screen mirrored (via Samsung Flow) to my Tab S8+, open it side by side with whatever apps I am using. Now, I wish I have a bigger screen for my phone. It seems like Foldable phone will be my next phone.
Just pick up the 4 and love it
Awesome video bra!! BTW your little man looks just like Ari!
Such å good father🥰
Can I get that desktop wallpaper in the background? Dope video, as always!
I have to use my personal phone for work... So having the z fold 4 I wind up multitasking with one note, zoom, outlook, chrome or office. Personally I use a simple game, RUclips, chrome, or Gmail.
Coming from a S21 ultra this is a huge upgrade for multitasking, especially taking work meetings on my phone where my laptop has died... I can still jot down questions or take notes, set up mtgs and still have the meeting up using flex mode.
Rather than multi tasking in several different apps at the same time, I just enjoy getting more done in the optimized tablet apps. Like having the tik tok comments while watching the video or having the tablet version of RUclips.
Watching this on my Z Fold 4
I have two phones 13 mini and this zf4 I do love using the zf4 more just cause the screen size and the battery is way better than my mini just having trouble finding a case I like for it
When I Had Note 8 I Actually Used Multiscreen Now And Then But After I Bought iPhone I Never Missed It So I Don’t Think It’s A Big Deal But It’s An Extra Feature You Pay A Lot Of Money Extra Is Okay
Been waiting for this video ngl
this is the best phone at the moment and I was surprised by the long battery life ...I had all apple up to 13 pro , but on this phone still apple needs 5 years to grow up
I love this phone. Best phone yet.
