That is completely false. Both versions share the same map. If there were any towers, they would've been in older versions of the game during development, not any final release.
Rockstar's musicians are the best. Seriously, they're doing good themes for series and somehow can fit it into right tone as places that happens in other GTA games. Even GTA London 1969's theme fits perfectly to London! (Sorry for this piece of broken english, im in agony too)
