In today's episode, it's the last Ratchet game for the Playstation 2, and man, where'd all the platforming go? Things seem dire, but that's kinda the whole point with this one.

2:06 Johnny talks about hats for a straight fifty seconds
And I'll fucking do it again!
Johnny vs Caps
Jhonny coming closer and closer to the TF2 review, let's GOOOOO.
What is this? A TF2 video?
@@SomecallmeJohnny do it, you won’t!
“And they probably thought FUCK!”
I just love Johnny’s delivery of that line!
I wouldn't be suprised if that's how Insomniac actually reacted, since Jak & Daxter games were always ahead of Ratchet & Clank games in terms of release.
@@Asaylum117 Sumo Digital did just that with the reveal of Mario Kart 7 showing off the hang glider and underwater mechanics since they were developing Sonic and All Stars Racing Transformed for a while before 7’s reveal.
@@SonicXAmy121Gamer oh yeah, I remember that from didyouknowgaming
Ratchet’s design in this one is bleeds the early 2000s edge that I love
Couldn’t agree more
But his face is kinda weird its much round and uglier than the OG model.
Ow! The edge!
Nowadays,
He's as dull as a pair of safety scissors, that he couldn't even cut through *butter.*
I slightly jest, ofcourse.
Rift Apart looks awesome, and I did get a kick out of TOD, Booty and Clockblockers
Kinda like how Psychonauts made you realize Silver’s untapped potential in 06, this is the game that showed me that maaaaybe Shadow deserved a better “mature gun-toting mascot” treatment than the one it got.
Great game.
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is another example I've seen regarding Silver's potential.
meh, for me personally, i think a dmc vergil style game would fit shadow much more, i mean come on, chaos control as darkslayer style, chaos spears as summoned sword, chaos form as devil trigger, chaos blast punches and jet-boot kicks as beowulf, maybe even go full archie and give shadow a melee chaos spear to attack with like the newly introduced mirage edge, it would be perfect in my opinion.
if you want a ratchet and clank style sonic game, then tails already exists and it fits him much better than shadow.
at least in my opinion.
@@alimowla3204 I mean, sure, if they wanted to take the character action route then I would love your idea too. It’s why I’d love to see Platinum take the challenge at some point considering they’ve worked with SEGA multiple times.
The thing is, they settled on guns *specifically* and the Ratchet series (especially Deadlocked’s explosive, over the top combat and dark aesthetic) shows that you can do much better than just… Sonic Heroes with realistic weaponry randomly thrown in the stages and a mission-based structure.
If Tails were getting R&C-inspired gameplay, I think gearing it more like the original would suit him better than, say, the more shooter-first emphasis of R&C3 onwards.
I've seen the weapons of the original described as platformer power-ups you can use indefinitely. You had to be more thoughtful about how you used your weapons. They were more tools than killing machines. Plus, there were so many wacky gadgets for a plethora of scenarios.
Crypto in the DAH games also makes silver look like shit.
i have the announcer from this game yelling JUUUUUANITA burned into my brain permanently, such an awesome game
Whats in the secret sauce! His favorite cookie is a snickerdoodle!
"I'm gonna break character for a sec and say, WATCH OUT! IF YOU DON'T WE ALL DIEEEEEE!!"
Annilation Nation has a great demo plan.

I'm so glad you have the option to take out the commentary from those two. Made the game far more enjoyable.
Love how the first minutes of the vid outside the ad was a rant about a hat. Never change Johnny~
I understand that. I'm a sucker for my own
@@tsyumamatsuthehavenofguard32 Same, I have my own memories of a "man, I really loved that hat, wish I could find another like it" hat.
it was a pretty cool hat. Notice how he still keeps it on the design of his avatars for his channel lol
Im really glad this particular game exists. Its not something i would've wanted the series to do from then onward, but as a one-off its so good. The writing is pretty top notch, the ost is killer, and the weapon mod system is pretty sick.
I agree a look at furthering the combat for one title was fine not that direction the rest of the series. It's why I don't hate that All 4 One and Full Frontal Assault exist they wanted to experiment I'm fine with that they did the main three besides the core gameplay. The mod system is awesome I wish they brought it back I hate the Rarititanium skill tree personally. That and the moon's from crack in time. It's the combo of ideas I want but they seem to not implement them I assume due to effort to code/thinking fans want the same old but to me the same old was never Tools of Destruction ideas that's for sure.
Deadlocked is just fun to 100% too I find no need to but it's fun to me. All the jackpot containers, skill points, 100 level weapons so good. But obviously for 1 title. Wouldn't want it going this way or it would get boring and the quality change I expect to not be great and the platforming makes the series interesting not just action all the time even if the bots add a fair amount to situations even if the level design is multiplayer maps used fairly well but not as great as others.
I kinda wish Johnny took a chance to experience the multiplayer in its true form. Local couch multiplayer in games like ratchet 3 and deadlocked are kind of unsung heroes. They weren't halo levels of crazy but damn they have a lot of charm and since they're the focus of 3 and deadlocked it's unfortunate he couldn't go to Them.
GC: best ratchet game
UYA: my favorite ratchet game
Deadlocked: best spin-off/"gimmick" game (and personally my second favorite from the PS2 era, or third depending how I feel about GC that particular day)
Not to mention Co-Op Campaign! 💕
There's some interesting stuff about Deadlocked I found while playing and thought would be cool to share.
- Shellshock is the only Exterminator you fight 3 seperate times and on a unique planet. The rest are fought once on Dreadzone. Likely a sign of the short development.
- Merc and Green, your companions, once had legs. But devs realised how much more akward it made traversing the levels, so they made them hover. Green has a line about having his legs blown off as a nod to this.
- There was originally going to be a Lombax character in the game. I think they were smart to scrap this for later.
- Stygia and Ghost Station are the 2 last levels before the finale that also happen to have their own introductory cutscene which other levels dont get.
RIP Johnny's sanity after playing Size Matters and Secret Agent Clank
Press F to pay respect.
He played way worse than that at this point.
What wrong with those games?
@@GenerationZ313 They're not good at all. And no. I won't hear anything about how "The PS2 butchered this PSP classic" no. The PSP version was never good either
@@GenerationZ313 Weapons deal almost no damage by the halfway point of Size Matters and the game becomes a slog the more it goes on. The minigames are also terribly clunky to control.
@@GenerationZ313
Size Matters is infamous for all the enemies and bosses (specially the Technomites) being extreme bullet sponges. It is a hore to deal with them. There is a particular bossfight that everyone hates, and that is Luna and the last boos being Otto Destruct.
Other than that, the game is fine and it added an interesting gimmick of adquiring differents suits that you could combine to get the game style you want.
Deadlocked is a good time. It knows what it wants to do, and does it well.
Also The Grinding Chase is a banger.
Ghost Station, Dreadzone and Final Boss theme slap.

2005 Was a major turning point for gaming in the 2000's, as most games went full-on edgy...Ah, those were the days...
And literal dark times they were.
2005 was the same year Shadow the Hedgehog came out and then 2006, FFVII: Dirge of Cerberus came out.
The good old days where dark green or dark red was the most colorful you'll get,
Early 2000’s edge.
Yeah... Chicken Little sure was a crazy game XD
I don't know why the image of Ratchet's face superimposed over Monika's face got such a laugh out of me.
This is easily my favorite in the series. I love the combat, the story for what little there is, the way everything looks, the MUSIC, and how fun it is on higher difficulties.
Yay, my favorite PS2 game...I miss the time when platform games are trying to mix edge comedy or story with over the top gameplay, I always see deadlocked as one of the last of its kind(at least in The good game department) sorry for my bad English(btw I will search for the místic hat)
There was nothing wrong with your English here dude :)
@@TCGJAyandGian131 thank you for saying that
God damn I loved this game. My buddy and I had an absolute blast playing this together!
Oh god, "Just Ratchet" caught me off-guard, that was good.
Underrated gem of a game. My second favorite Ratchet game behind Going Commando.
I don't think underrated describes it, most who played it think positivity about it. I would say OVERLOOKED is more accurate.
That's my top two as well. Going commando and deadlocked. Lol.
Oh god, he's doing the PSP games, this marathon will not end on a positive note ._.
Already into it and I find myself saying, again, "Yes, multiplayer actually does still work". You have to set up a custom DNS with the connection to redirect it to the Horizon servers, but you CAN still play multiplayer Deadlocked and UYA on PS2 and on PS3 / PS4.
technically true, but also even when i checked out the custom servers a bit ago, no one was really online, which was a shame
@@internettoon people tend to play more at night since majority of people have jobs so maybe check at a different time
I really like Deadlocked partially due to the fact that it cut back on so much and got straight to basics. I always felt the gunplay was the most developed thing in the series so actually having a full game that's 90% just that with none of the fat was great and I don't think the gunplay has really felt as good since.
I've really loved your coverage of the Ratchet games, every review's been stellar! And yeah, can attest to the PS3 port - something went REALLY wrong there and it's a bummer it never was fixed.
from what I gathered from the Golden Bolts video on Deadlocked it was basically a combination of low budget, short deadline, and trying to port the game to a completely new engine .
Perfect assessment of Deadlocked. Weaker than the games that came before it but perfectly playable and enjoyable on its own.
12:38 The Puma is apparently a reference to Red Vs Blue. In the series, they joke that the Warthog should be called a Puma
I can't believe RvB ended after 5 seasons, but it ended on a good note.
Imagine if they milked the HELL out of that series and made it serious all of a sudden.
Granted, I could imagine it having some good movements, but then all I can imagine it having "Return of the King" styled multiple "endings" where it truly NEVER ends, then it gets bad all of a sudden, and you truly WANT it to end, like the sick, old dog that it is.
But thankfully, we don't have to worry about that. There's only 5 seasons...
@@Mekboy_ComputerMonster I could say the same for season 13. Season 13 was a great series finale. It would be ashamed if they keep making more. The quality probably would have dropped
I remember playing this game ALL night. I've never played a game until sunrise.
This was my first R&C and when I got it was confused as hell on what was going with the story, but it was a great time. I agree with a lot of what you said Johnny, but Deadlocked does well with what it tries to be.
With the other heroes held in captivity you get introduced at the end, some of them were actually supposed to have dedicated levels to them (HydroGirl I know definitely did) before they got cut. The audio & dialogue from the cut levels can still be found online and RUclips.
That’s really cool to know. I always love learning about stuff that ends up on the cutting room floor.
Clank was also seemingly going to be kidnapped by Vox in the Ghost Station according to a cutscene that can still be found in the files.
At one point in the game, there was going to be a Lombax character like Ratchet. I think they did the right thing scrapping it for later with Crack in Time and Rift Apart.
@@leithaziz2716
wonder if they'll finally pull the trigger on the lombax enemy/rival idea in the next game (unless alister already filled that role, i won't know i've yet to get to the ps3 games), honestly, hoping they just conclude the lombax stuff next game.
@@alimowla3204 The answer's kinda spoilery, but they already did this in a Crack in Time.
@@leithaziz2716
ah, very well then, i'll play the future games eventually (and replay nexus).
still, the lombaxes as a whole are still a loose end as of rift apart, so hopefully that gets resolved, especially considering the lorbs.
Bless you Johnny I can sort of understand what you mean when it comes to Gladiator. The game is well designed of its own accord but the emphasis on action combo’s with less weapons and more levels really did make it repetitive to me. Though the final scene of the game is legit hilarious.
Sorry to hear the soundtrack of 2 & 3 didn’t click with you though if anything your enjoyment of the first soundtrack is a good sign for spyro the dragon and they all have that sort of setup for its worlds.
“Halo inspired” would far more suit the games that came after the original Trilogy/Deadlock. The future series does dive more into lost advanced civilizations and frame Ratchet and clank respectively as more important to the fate of the universe than they ever were previously. It was weird even tho I do think Crack in Time did its best with the tweaked premise of the series
I never knew that Ratchet: Deadlocked was originally going to be a racing game that is really interesting info that not many people bring up. I also love this game with it doing my favorite thing in the series, blowing every enemy to smithereens. Plus all the weapons are useful through out the whole game, unlike some of the first three games where some of the early game weapons became useless towards the end of the games. The weapon moding system is also awsome with how you can make every weapon your own with them.
Kinda surprised you didn't talk about the exclusive skins you could unlock for this game by playing the Ratchet Mobile Phone Game one of them being Jak from Jak and Daxter.
If you really want a good in depth look at the dev history behind Deadlocked, I wholeheartedly recommend checking out The Golden Bolts video on it. The game was originally planned to be more in line with Halo with large open-ended missions before they decided to split all the planets up into smaller challenges since it would be more manageable for the enemy AI.
Also Deadlocked technically isn't the last PS2 Ratchet game if you count the PS2 ports of Size Matters and Secret Agent Clank
Looking back, Ratchet: Deadlocked was the Michael Bay of the series. No complex story, just blow shit up. But ironically that actually works for a series like R&C. And they went all out with the destructive weapons. Easily my favorite bunch of weapons of the PS2 series.
Honestly glad to hear Johnny has finally finished up Deadlocked and enjoyed his time with it and with more Ratchet and Clank reviews incoming as the endgame, the PSP titles which should be quite interesting when he gets around to covering them.
10:31 full disclosure, the swing shot (hyper shot) was contact sensitive before in Up Your Arsenal. Deadlock wasn't the first time it was implemented.
The freeze mod in Deadlocked is the superior mod. It always reminded me of the liquid nitrogen gun (lava gun upgraded in UYA). Freezing then smashing enemies never got old.
Ya but the liquid nitrogen gun only froze enemies when they died, not before, so it wasn't really the same.
Finally, another short alternative to the outro! I was about to go insane hearing all of that bloated fluff! Thank you!
As a one off title, Deadlocked is kickass.
Top notch writing, great gladiator themed gameplay, funny cutscenes as always, great characters,
It's great. Really great.
I am surprised a Red vs Blue joke was not made about the jeep called a Puma... and so sliiiightly, ever so small a smidge disappointed.
Absolutely loving this Ratchet marathon you’ve been doing man, glad you finally got to experience this one of a kind series!
I've always loved the arena mission in R&C and having an entire game for it is awesome. I hope we get more spin off likes this then the era we had for a few years after the Future trilogy
Insomniac is too busy to experiment with the series anymore, I doubt it'd be viable these days and barely was in 2011-2012. Hell it's a miracle they give enough of a fuck to still want to continue the series; *especially* now as I feel the last era of the series will be the PS5. Also I consider this game half spin-off due to it sharing a lot of key aspects to UYA.
This game is hella underrated and also my 2nd favorite behind Going Commando
With this one you're definitely missing out without multiplayer. The main selling point of the game was that it was a huge expansion to UYA's multiplayer mode and it had a ton of cool stuff in it. It was one of the first online games I remember playing a ton of and it's actually where I got my username from cause there was a skin that looked like a Robot Zombie in it.
Edit: IIRC another reason why this games scope was really limited is that I believe Insomniac were also working on the first Resistance game on PS3 which was also putting a huge squeeze on resources given that they weren't just making 2 games at the same time but a launch era PS3 game at that
I came to say this was probably the last ratchet ost I loved. This whole soundtrack goes hard.
Node Overload all day
When you said Vox looks like Don Lino from Shark Tale, the resemblance is accurate!
Deadlocked was actually my introduction to Ratchet & Clank and, in lack of a better term, "shooting gameplay" in videogames. So I guess it was thanks to this game that shooters have become my second favorite videogame genre.
I like this game. I enjoy the expansion of gladiator combat, and I love the story and characters. The story and characters are briming with....well, character
Each one chewed the scene pretty well honestly. Shell Shock, Vox, Ace Hardlight, and even the announcers
@@DirectorOfChaos9292 that's probably why I liked the characters. You can sell me on well performed cheese.
Definitely my favorite spinoff in the franchise.
was excited for you to try this one out. This is my favorite ratchet game to date
Y'know when most fans dream of ending up in a Johnny vs. video, I can't say that's what someone like me has in mind. In Johnny's defense, i don't remember any of Deadlocked's music either BUT I will still defend the first three games, sometimes the songs can get too similar, and because of all the sound effects it can be tough to make it out, but I still maintain David B. was a great composer and it sucks we lost him after A Crack in Time. I didn't truly appreciate his music until I actually went out of my way to listen to it outside of the game so I suppose that was a fault of the game devs.
EDIT: Actually David B. stopped composing after Quest for Booty, sorry....
Also I was joking when I called the soundtracks masterful BUT as I stated before there's plenty of great songs and David B. was very good.
He stopped composing after QfB also you could just turn the sfx down.
I think this game had the best music in the entire series especially towards the last couple of levels.
My favorite Ratchet and Clank game, I put so many hours into this 1 as a kid. Glad to see so many other people enjoyed it as well.
You can totally play this online with your PS2 copy right now and can even download maps on your usb stick WITH NO CONSOLE MODDING OF ANY KIND, JUST AS WITH RATCHET 3, PLEASE LOOK INTO IT. I hope you can see this.
The past three times Johnny released a new video, I was in the middle of watching one of his other videos.
Last time, it was Metal Gear Solid 2.
This time, it was Dark Souls. Lol
The snow planet was always my favorite level! The Jampack 2005 disc (also one of my first console games with Sonic Heroes on the PS2) had that for my first exposure to Ratchet, Sly and Jak!
I really love this game and I don't know what it is, honestly. The consistent combat, the difficulty levels, and honestly just trying to get everything is really fun! There's a structure to this game that makes completion really enjoyable. I know you mentioned that Skill Points are handed out to you constantly, but that's partially because... the first three games have 30 skill points. Deadlocked has _165_ skill points.
Also, OST-wise, I don't know... Stygia's Energy Collector track, Ghost Station Running the Gauntlet, and Destroy the West Generator have been favorites of mine for YEARS. But I can understand that these are just three tracks across the whole game!
Great video as always! Something technical I noticed, though. The lighting in your room is skewed extremely yellow.
I love coming home for work to see these.
3:02 Holy shit, A DDLC reference!
Johnny vs Sonic Origins
That would be a round 2
One complaint I heard about Deadlocked is that it's more or less the arena challanges from GC and UYA but over the course of the entire game...and having played and 100% (Including Plat on HD) the game, while that isn't correct, they aren't 100% wrong either? Game is still fun as hell though. Also fun fact: The entire R&C series was released in Japan (With Japanese voice acting, different game titles, and a slight change to Ratchet's design giving him darker eyebrows) and did well. Good luck with the PSP games (gonna guess your playing the PS2 ports...which SAC didn't release on PS2 in Japan) cause ooh boy that is gonna be some hard whiplash.
“James Arnold Taylor isn’t sailing the Spanish Main with a Keyblade wielder in this game. [Captain Jack Sparrow, Kingdom Hearts II]” (DING!)
Nice reference
You know remy raccoon?
@@calebpribyl5152 yep!
Hey, if the overall soundtrack didn't do much for you, I highly, HIGHLY recommend listening to the various soundtracks from the Ghost Station chapter alone. Those are some bops, *especially* the Escape sequence.
"should be quite an adventure, especially as we get to the tail end of that one" Does that mean you're doing the one game I've always hoped you do John!? Since I was a wee lad?!?! I'm so excited for more of your stuff man! Always loved your content!
The mid 2000's an edgy time for video games and pop culture. I kind of miss it though.
I’ve been using RUclips since 2005 but Johnny has one of the few channels I actually anticipate videos for.
Hearing Johnny mention Halo, I can't help but wonder if we'll ever get to see some reviews of those games lol
I remember an annoying bug that would sometimes make an enemy invincible, making that wave based mission a guarunteed loss
As a huge Ratchet and Clank fan I agree about your opinion on the soundtrack. I can remember little parts of the soundtracks from 2 and 3. As for the first I can remember and see myself coming back to listen to those songs. Veldin, Riligar blackwater city, and Umbris being some of my favorites.
The thing that endears me to the announcers is Dallas being voiced by Daran Norris. I mean, there is something to be said for how much both announcers keep talking, but I think we were all just crossing our eyes and going through the motions with this game.
I really like "Look out for one another" for the outro
It is so weird to me to see a franchise that is THIS consistently good. Jesus Christ I love this franchise and I barely even played it
I sincerely wish i could tell you where to find that hat, cause i loved that hat myself, that classic but swagger-esque front stitch design always slapped and fits the style of a snazzy gent like yourself
The atmosphere of this game is impeccable.
Fun fact: Gleemon Vox is voiced by Michael Bell, who also voiced Lawrence (same series), Chaz Finster (Rugrats), and Quackerjack (Darkwing Duck)
I feel like this is the game that made me drop the series. Not in a "Oh man, that was so awful, I never wanna touch the series again!" sort of way, but more like a...I just kinda stopped sort of way. But I do remember playing Secret Agent Clank.
That new outro is so much better, nice job
Yeah, the first game by far has the best soundtrack imo. Three console generations separated, over two decades later, they still haven't topped the OG in the beats department. 2 and 3 have some bops, but nothing consistently slapped like 1.
11:41 Holy shit, I remember that mission. I was using the shock mod on the dual vipers as you were doing during a New Game + run. I've never had the game lag as much as it did during that mission. But it was well worth it for the level grinding. Made the Vipers OP as hell for the rest of the game.
When you mentioned the Landstalker , I immediately thought of the Sega Genesis game of the same name.
Wow a TGBS reference in a Johnny video, never thought I’d see the day
Deadlocked was the Ratchet & Clank that put me back on the fence with the series. So for one reason or another (I personally believe it was due to the version of the disc I got) but when I played Up Your Arsenal I found myself in a dead game. Essentially I had no health (by which i mean i was 1 hit away from death), no ammo, and no bolts. With no ammo/health/bolt boxes respawning (I was was essentially in Challenge mode or whatever on my first every playthrough) I wound up shit outta luck. This was because to progress I needed to kill and enemy who had a jetpack. Well I had no ammo and I couldn't really hit him with the wrench. So I quit, and was very annoyed with the series. I much much later (years after playing Deadlocked) found out that the area that I was stuck on with nothing, was the final level. I was so extremely close to actually beating the game, and that only frustrated me further. Though like I said, after quitting Arsenal I was put off by Ratchet & Clank, because as a kid with limited resources and knowledge I just assumed every R&C game was just like the one I quit. Then I got a demo disc that had Deadlocked on it and I actually played it quite a bit, well what little of the game was there. I slowly became open to getting it and giving R&C another chance but never really got the chance. Eventually I wound up with PS2 and some spending cash and went and bought Deadlocked. Played through it and enjoyed the time I spent on it. So I thought maybe giving R&C another chance at some point but never really got around to it. However before Deadlocked I outright wanted nothing to do with the franchise (which was only fueled by the fact that R&C kept going while my preferred PS2 mascot, Sly Cooper, got tossed to the side after 3 games. Incidentally, wonder when/if you'll do that series Johnny) but after playing it I didn't hate it anymore.
This is one of my favorites in the series and to see it FINALLY get the vs. treatment, allllll those 5 years waiting were worth it :)
Gleeman Vox News, he's actually one if the more interesting villains who plans to destroy everything on the DreadZone Station, a smart move if it wasn't for Clank helping out.
How’d I miss this one? Great review! Can’t wait for the reviews on the Future series after the 2 PSP games!

It still makes you wonder how both Ace Interact with Qwark If he was reveliavnt or In the movie's rebooted sequel?
This is one of my favorites in the series, my cousin owned it and we used to have a blast playing it, and sometimes fought over who would get to be Jak. I would love a remaster of this, and maybe another coop game though all focused in on the collectathon stuff
Wait, the Jeep is called a Puma? Is… is that a Red vs Blue reference!?
I had memories as a kid playing this at a friend's. It's on it's way now that I have a PS2. I hope the multiplayer holds up!
13:44 haha, I played through a lot of the Ratchet & Clank games a few years ago for the first time and I can't remember a single track from any of them either
This is actually the only Ratchet and Clank game I've ever played and, even now, I love this game. I'll admit it gets a little mindless, but its such a fun game to just pop in and beat in a few sittings then do it again in Challenge Mode when all the weapons can upgrade to Level 100 and just seeing how absurd they get. It's definitely nostalgia talking, but I love this game.
I literally maxed out all the guns that’s how much I replayed it when I was younger 😂
You should totally do a room tour for hitting 500k Love your video man
Oh my God, I so relate to your hat troubles. My head is big as hell and I struggle to find hats that are the right size for me, the ones I do have I adore though. I did screw one of my good ones after trying to wash it though, I was new to the hat thing back then.
I respect this man's desire to seek the most comfortable of hats. ^
Played this game for the first time in Co-op with my older brother around 2014.
Great experience. The game lends itself well to co-op gameplay especially with the shorter length. Really pushes the PS2 hard though. Framerate gets cut in half for split screen and there was some severe slowdowns. Although part of that could've possibly been my OPL settings as well (didn't even know that could affect performance!)
If Ratchet was a tough cookie, what kind of cookie would he be? I'm gonna go with snickerdoodle.
I'd agree with that, mostly because if you dunked a snickerdoodle in tea it'd last but not for long.
