Our family is also grieving. My father-in-law passed away on January 4th (liver failure). We have been helping "mom" every day. Holidays, birthdays and every Sunday morning is where we feel the emotional rollercoaster. 🎢 (He was a preacher). 🙏 for strength, peace and comfort for us all ❤️

My condolences being sent to your husband and family. We just lost my sweet mother-in-law on the 18th. She lived to be 101 years and 18 days old. She and my late father-in-law were the best in-laws. I had her in my life 46 years. I love and miss them so very much.

You can also reuse your spaghetti jars for this. Most of them also have measurements when you remove the labels. Same jar. Saves money.

I make the solar mason jar lanterns too, but I put glass pieces in the jar. It makes them heavier, and also creates a pattern when it's lit up ❤

The cardinal bird feeder had me in tears. I absolutely feel your pain. I suddenly lost my Mom the week before Thanksgiving, and ever since she passed, I've had two cardinals that visit my yard almost everyday. I wholeheartedly believe that one is my Mom and the other is my Dad (you can tell this cardinal is older because it's not that bright red color anymore, its colors have faded) who passed away 18 years ago. I am struggling REALLY bad with my Mom's passing because she was my world. My best friend, my hero, my rock, my savior. If it wasn't for her, I would've been dead at 15 years old. I was suicidal, and she saved my life. I don't know how to function without her. And it's even harder when my own brother, her own son, abandoned me about a month after she passed, plus her boyfriend refuses to let me have her belongings AND left me with the entire $2000 cremation bill because I wouldn't let him have half of her ashes. My world has been turned upside down, but seeing those cardinals gives me hope that she's okay, and knows how much I miss her. I am so, so sorry for your loss. Your family will continue to be in my heart, thoughts and prayers. ❤

Iced tea (no sweetener). I do like a splash of cream in my hot tea if it's Earl Grey. I need a pour spout lid because we do enjoy a lot of sun tea in the summer. What a great find! 🧋🫖

I love the bug repellent one. If you microwave the lemon about 10 seconds, it softens the lemon making it easier to squeeze, and you get more juice out. I’m sorry for your family;s loss.

I just love all of these hacks, but the cardinal feeder is #1 for me! I had lost both of my parents, and the say IS true. Every once in a great while a cardinal will appear, I live in Eastern Idaho, and I can attest to the phrase. I’m from California and we didn’t have cardinals there but now I live in Michigan and we have so many cardinals! I love looking out my window and seeing them at our bird feeders, I actually had one out there as I watched this video. We have male and female so I always think of my dad, grandma and others when I see them.

Cardinals are actually ground feeders. If you really want to attract a lot them get a tray feeder. They will love you for it!

Thank you for your time and sacrifice in doing the DIYs. I’m sure it’s a hard thing to face. We never think our parents aren’t gonna be there anymore. I lost both my parents in a 6 month period apart. That was hard to bear. But, no matter what it is , it’s hard. I thank God above for the comfort He brought to me and my siblings. I'm so sorry for your and your husband's loss. We lost our last parents, my mom 2 years ago. We have a few Cardinals that show up here and I like to think they are our for parents letting us know everything is going to be alright. 🙏❤️

Cardinals mean good things.I learned a little something about those solar lights ( because I love to take stuff apart and put it back together ) there's 2 little screws on the bottom, take them out pop open the bottom take out the triple A battery, put a new battery in, screw it back together. It will still work as a solar light. They sell little screwdrivers at the Dollar Tree. If they don't have any grab one of their eyeglass repair kits. They have little screwdrivers in them.

Well for me I drink sweet iced tea.. also I watched your last video that was almost an hour long of the outdoor diys & I've already collected a lot of stuff for my new home!! I'm going to make the DIY citronella, eucalyptus & peppermint candles to keep the bugs away. And I bought the tall ones at the Dollar Tree but these are actually pink green and purple so they're going to be beautiful when I melt them down and pour them into little jars.. Sorry for your loss. We lost a family member late last year. Prayers for your healing. I recently read that you are supposed to pour a little boiling water over the tea bags first to kill any bacteria. I wasn't aware. It says there's a chance for it because sun tea doesn't get hot enough to kill it.

Sweet iced tea with Splenda...so good! I'm sorry you lost your father in law. Grief is hard because it comes and goes in waves and you never know when it will hit you. I don't think it ever completely goes away. I'm glad you were able to get some help. I actually like the first project the best. I love those spray painted jars that look like lanterns in the end. I enjoyed seeing all of your projects today as I always do!
