When Kobe was a young puppy and I'd visit him at the shelter when he was too young to be adopted, he'd climb out of the sleeping puppy pile to come sleep on my lap. He's 12 now and past his Mastiff expiration date. I don't know how I'll live without him. He's been my 24/7 companion all these years.
I had 7 dogs in my life, they have all passed now. I felt so close to them all , 4 of them especially. The loss of each of them was shattering. My neighbor has a very special dog and we have a deep bond. This little dog goes crazy when she sees me and jumps into my arms every time. I know we a a soul connection.
My Mocha is my soul dog for real I can't be away from her for long I get anxiety and I cry just like she does. She has been my PTSD/panic disorder service pup for almost 3 years now. She fell into that job naturally so we went with it.
I've got 3 rescued dogs during the covid time, i was just fostering, but decided to take them as my family and live together. I was working from home at that time, and that was one of the happiest times in my life. Now i have to go back to the office. I feel like it's time to make a decision. I can't leave them at home to just spend most of their days waiting for me. I pray for courage and wisdom 🙏
