  • A cruise missile is heading towards San Francisco and must be destroyed. The difficulty here is the missile's high speed, low altitude (200 feet) and short time available until impact.

Bro, while I don't agree with him calling you a moron, I think you calling this shit provoked the reaction. You seem to have missed the point of this video when you say 'get FS10'. You can see the uploader has 1980 in his name, I'm guessing that is his birth year. I was born in 78 and played this in 1989-90 when I was about 11-12. I can promise you that back then, this was about as Epic as games got. Making a pass under a bridge or just nailing a landing left you feeling like a total badass.

The ending was perfect. You landed, then the missle hit you and blew you up just as you got your "mission complete" message. xD

    Pro F/A-18 Interceptor Challenges.
    > Fly and land in formation with Air force 1
    > Complete a mission using cannon only
    > Fly under the golden gate bridge with full after burner. Upside down.
    > Land on the enemy carrier.
    > Land on the ocean upside down.

I remember this being the most difficult game in the world when I was 10, I wonder how I'd do now I'm 38?

This game is awesome. For the time it came out it displayed all the power of the Amiga. The sound was incredible. But what I loved most about this game was the fact that the designers got all the physics and world scaling all right.

I had so much fun with this back in the day. When I upgraded to an Amiga 2000 I found out my disk had always been slightly faulty. A few minutes on the phone to EA and they sent me a replacement disk even though my warranty was expired. Yes EA used to be a nice company. hard to believe these days. BTW it's tough but as a challenge I used to do this mission with only guns.

This was my very first Amiga Game back in 1988. Came with my £399.99 Amiga 500 It got a bit repetitive but displayed the Amiga's awesome power at the time

Probably the most atmospheric flight sim ever. With it's limited amount of missions it felt more like an extended demo...but damn was it good.

Never ran on my A500. Would. Not. This game, Starflight and ... one other, what was it...Oh, Omega. They would crawl like 1fps or lower. Imagine running WinUAE on a '486 with cycle-exact on and JIT off. That's how bad it was. Thing was, they should have run fine. I got Falcon up and running and never looked back...
