Great idea. I have used an older plano box for years also. The one like this but with trays. Just now trying g to transform over to a Husky rolling box setup.
Thats a pretty good box for rc stuff. I myself have a Plano 7771 Series box, it has plenty of organizers and lots of storage up top for tools, soldering iron, etc.
i also use a plano fishing tackle box for my rc stuff. its a different model though but they're great. high quality. i used one for my 1/10th scale for over a year then got another one for my 1/5th scale now.
First tool box for rc so far I love it. I have filled it up pretty quick. But I also bought 2 more rc's. So I can complain. I was using an old swiffer sweeper wet floor mop box.
