Cheap Milwaukee Packout Fix!
ruclips.net/video/XY8vkQ5k1kE/видео.html
Vince, please do more videos on the Toughbuilt line. ❤
I invested in this system for the organizer boxes. I’m a first year apprentice plumber and the deep organizer boxes are so useful for pro press and pex fittings and their open tool tote is very comfortable and can hold a lot of tools. The side of the boxes having the ability for me to attach the clip tech bar for my tool belt attachments is very convenient too. Especially when working in a commercial environment.
😂 the engineer math on the wheels was priceless...the polymer strength is unknown, the exact material unknown...oh so many variables...but the spoke count and tire with and a caliper and wham...we have rocket science lift off 😅
And GruntStyle makes "good" coffee
Yea I was expecting some crazy math LMAO. I was like oh shit this guy knows something about weight distribution 😂😂
Calculations = Gold 😂
Spoke count is vital
Yep- 2.1965(w) X 4.479(h) X 6(rubberized…?) = 59.0287. Ok, since it’s a circle, we likely need to use pi (3.14…), 59.0287 X 3.14= 185. Ok, yeah, we were suppose to square the w & h first, so (2.1965(w) X 4.479(h)) sq is 20.06 x 6(rubberized..?) = 120.36. Crap, we forgot the pi again, so 120.36 X 3.14 = 378, and that’s over 250. It sounds over-engineered.
Absolutely love my stack tech stuff. I also love their cliptech stuff. Toughbuilt is really impressing me with their quality and innovation
I saw this system at Lowe's and I felt my wife's look (we are NOT buying that) in my back. She knows.
🤣
I’m glad my wife doesn’t control what I buy.
@@hexZ06 Maybe she stepping out on ya? Juss sayin.
@@georgedavall9449 Or maybe he has a supportive and submissive wife that respects and trusts her husband’s financial decisions. Just sayin
@@hexZ06 but you dont even have a girlfriend. Don’t be so salty.
I landed on Toughbuilt.... love it... the drawer units are top quality (even though they don't lock, they're much nicer than stack pack IMO)... I'm a low voltage guy, so drawers are key. My StackTech stack (on a dolly) is taller than you (had to 🙂)
As long as you have a box with lock holes on top and bottom of your drawers, you can run a chain diagonally across the face of your drawer unit, as there are lockholes on either side.
What side of low voltage do you do? I just recently got into Stacktech and have been working intercoms and some networking and this box system is awesome!!
Picked up some of these when they came out and immediately threw my packet on marketplace to completely switch over to these Stacktech boxes and they're freakin awesome. I'm so excited for the rest of it to come out!
I bought the three main boxes and two ammo cans when it released and absolutely love it. It is definitely a heavy system though. Have not pulled the trigger on the cooler and would love to see it tested before dropping $100.
The only thing I love more than a good tool deal is Vince’s reaction when HE finds a good tool deal
😜
The latching system is amazing. I was able able to repeatedly toss one box on top of the next and it latched every time. The accessory mounting is awesome. Not being able to open the lid of a box underneath without down stacking is a minus. The deal killer is you can’t stack 2 organizers or 2 ammo cans underneath a full box.
Nobody uses ammo cans anyway
From the sounds of it they are redesigning the half boxes for a full size to fit
Great information on this product, very detailed, thanks for sharing!
Picked up 10 crates for $18 each, 4 small tool boxes for $25 each. Got 4 parts organizers for $11 each. Trying to get my hands on the TB hand truck.
Wait what? Was it a one day thing?
How?
From what the lady at the store told they were clearing out extra stock from Christmas. I bought everything they had left.
@marccocke9924 what location my good sir?
Vince, buddy, I want to see one of the smaller containers, fill them with fasteners, then do the “do they stay in their bin” test 😉, thanks brother!!
Vince, I sold my stack pack to buy this setup. Haven’t been disappointed. They are a legit option
I just got into Flex StackPack from the Black Friday sales. What was it about this that made you give up the StackPack?
Nothing that from a quality issue. To be honest I found more eyes looking at my gear. Never a good thing on a job site. Price was a big factor. If the toughbuilt didn’t come out I would have kept it. I can drop my toughbuilt stack in a dark data closet and it looks like a small rack. The grey and red sticks out a ton. We have big job site their problems here in ATL.
@@BlakeKnowledge makes sense. And definitely would look like a rack
I took the small toolbox and made a 1.2kwh battery bank with inverter.
&
I took a second small toolbox and made a LoRA hub out of it. The guys on site have a private text network. GPS as well. Very handy.
The side rack is easy to leverage as well. We made a uni-strut attachment during lunch one day.
Yeah dude! I am loving my Thoughbuilt gear for over 2 years.
Great to hear Scotty!
I got a toughbuilt pouch as a impulse. I never thought thier stuff would be as good as it is.
Great video, Vince! ❤ Toughbuilt is the real deal. Their saw horses, foldable workbench, storage, hand tools, work belts, and more are impressive. ❤
I still have packout but have adopted the genius Accessory rails Toughtbuilt Stacktech has.
Love the toughbuilt color choices
Yes! Finally thank you for this review i have been waiting
Didn’t want to keep you waiting any longer cuz! 👍🏻
You got a killer deal on these, I bought them in Clearwater Florida and haven't seen a discount on them yet. Still worth full retail price, use them for mobile tools and parts storage for dirtbike / motorcycle track days or out of town riding events. I am picking up the smaller cooler this week.
Tough built are some.of my favorite and also modular pouches. Amazing to see these out now
Fun fact: if you turn the boxes to face the handle they will still lock in. Also, some have started you can't get into a lower box if there is one on top of it. I found if you lift up slightly on the top box you can undo the latch, but you can't re-latch it without unstacking the upper box.
Good stuff cuz, thanks!
Vince I’ll have to say, at first watching your videos your enthusiasm was off putting. But I absolutely love it!! You have a way about explaining things that makes talking about the smallest details fun!
Keep up the good work!
Most people grow to love me or hate me! 🤣
Man, I wish the Toughbuilt Stacktech stuff went on clearance near me. I’m just a professional homeowner. Bought the drawers and some other boxes (the crates especially) mainly for the aesthetic in the garage. Looking forward to their full lineup that’ll include big cabinets and pegboards, what they’re calling their “True Workshop Solution”… looks very nice indeed.
I wish they had that deal in Lowe's New York . I also just came back from Virginia and they were not on sale there either .though I did pick up lots of other goodies
Looks nooice Vince, if they follow through with a deep rolling drawer option they'll get all of my money, I still dont know why the other guys dont have that yet
I live in a very rural part of the country. It is nice hearing the perspective of someone who lives in a metro area. I would have never considered how much of an inconvenience it would be to load tools around in a service elevator. Here in the south Weinstock, everything sky high, because the worst thing we’re going over is a few mud puddles and some gravel
I picked these up 2 weeks ago I love them I want the cooler but on the fence about it would love to see you do a review on it
I was excited when I seen flex come out with their stuff but toughbuilt was right on taking their time and paying attention to the game. The small boxes remind me of ammo crates so that also helps win me over.
Very nice I like the black and white color and seems very easy to use!
TB fanboy here. Love them
Great video Vince!
Glad you enjoyed it Max!
Kickass review. Nothing more needed!
Love tough built but can't find the hand truck or the paino dolly base piece out of stock or un available everywhere any know where I can get them?
Thanks for the video. Something tells me we'll be seeing more Stacktech from you in future videos. They have major editions to the line coming out this spring and summer. I'm excited about the single drawer base, with wheels and handle. It's about time someone offers a base with drawers.
Toughbuilt is an awesome company. I purchased the Tool belt system and love those.... these are next.
They have the best tool belts in my opinion. I can't use anything else now. Plus you can latch the belt pouches and stuff onto the toolboxes as well!! They do a great job integrating everything to work together
I bought into Ridgid Pro Gear 2.0 over the holidays based on the great sale price at HD. Got 2 full stacks. Not as many bells and whistles, but it holds a lot and I can stand on them. I put hand tools in the small boxes, M18 circular and jig saws, HACKZALL, SAWZALL + extra batteries and charger in 1 big box, nail guns, M18 grinder and oscillating tool in the other big box, M18 drill & driver + accessories in 1 medium box, and sanders in the other medium box. Still room in the medium boxes for more tools. Lots of good options out there now.
I wish these would go on sale at my Lowe’s
he streamed and talked about sales and I went to 3 Lowes around me and not one of the Tought Built stuff was on sale. what store was he in?
Yeah me to. I have a PACKOUT rolling toolbox but most of my stuff is toughbuilt so I would like to make the switch but I just can’t do it when it’s the same price as the Milwaukee. Hoping it gets reduced or goes on sale.
Waiting for the drawers to come out. Quite curious about the transporter cart as well. Looks promising.
The drawer boxes are already at some lowes
Thank you for this video, I think i'm going to get this set up, it's either this or the Klein mod box
These are way better than the Klein mod box. Build quality it way better
I giggle every time a walk passed the Packout milk crate for $80!
Definitely would be my go to if I weren't 30+ boxes deep into the toughsystem storage. I have a few toughbuilt totes, bags and a roller - have always been impressed with their quality 💯
I checked these out the other day, real nice but I’m deep in Packout.
I wish the Lowe’s in my area had those kind of prices! Heck I just wish they had the quantity of StackTech boxes like the rest of the country it seems.
Vince, which store in PA did you find these deals from?
Hello again, Vince and Vcg
Thank you for another Great Video 👍 I would like to know how ice will last in the cooler 😎 Enquiring minds want to know? Again thank you
Great Vid keep up the good work.
Thanks, will do!
I got in with the very first Dewalt stuff because of the drawers and the dolly. The original drawers were HORRIBLE. Once I can find toughbuilt regularly with a dolly, then I may pick it up. I got my mom the rigid stuff and debating to get my dad Milwaukee packout.
I dig it Vince, i been eyeballin' that system for a while. The only thing I don't like is I didn't see a way to lock it up, or maybe I missed it. Anyway, thanks for the video.
Lock It Up From Thieves!
I have the full pack out set. I came across the flex stack pack on sale I bought the 3 drawers. I bought 12 of them at 70$ each. They were on par with Milwaukee but have side handles. I’m going to go with the best deal regardless of brand.
The new husky built out system has a lot of the same features and more for half the price of toughbuilt. You should check them out
Thy husky system is pretty decent. I will a ton of that at THD... dude come in and don't wanna but packout or the name brand for guys who just destroy everything without care... husky and ryobi to the rescue lol
I have husky organizers in my car. 2 years. I saw they just updated the boxes. Might get a new one.
I see they just released that tool bag !!!!😮 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Great video, my brother.👍🏻🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thanks Joseph, hope you’re doing good bro!
Do they have one with drawers
Measurements of the wheels are not going to tell you how much it carries. It's the construction in what it's made of and how it's constructed
Ya gotta remember to multiply by rubberized! 😅
I love the tonneau cover hate. I’ve had one on every truck and it’s open almost every day but I love it to keep my tools dry and out of sight when I’m parked places. It’s also great when I got a bunch of trash lumber and fill the box build in debris cover basically.
It’s all in good fun, I have a hard topper with side boxes and people call it the old man truck! 🤣
Great deals, can you make video, what's your impression of Reekon Tomahawk T1. Is it worth buying it ? 🤔 😊
OMG! at first i thought you were the sham wow guy. i have seen the boxes when i have gone to lowes in the past. might have to look at what im storing in random bags from HF so i can change it all over to easy to pack and grab packs.
How does it compare to the ryobi boxes?
Waiting on lowes newr me to drop the price on tough built. The Flex stuff is knocked down.
Just cant believe they didn’t send it to you to review for a price of on the house. Get it together Toughbuilt.
I use Tanue covers, they are great to keep things dry that I DO carry in bed if truck in an area where it can be sunny one minute and thunderstorms the next, heck rain while sun is out.
Honestly if any of these companies want to corner the market like Milwaukee packout they need to put out double the quality for half the price. They need to make radios, fans, vacs, all that stuff. I hope they do if only to lower packout price but once your a few boxes deep I think it’s too expensive to switch
PLEASE get the 3-drawer box!
Yeah, I’d love to see more sales on these modular systems. I’ve got some packout , but some of these other systems are looking pretty cool.
Right on Rob! 👍🏻
comprehensive review
Thanks cuz, appreciate that!
I want 30 hours live stream, no shanaigines....bahahahah!
I’m down with that!
These are by far the best boxes on the market.
I removed 3 handles from the base box in the store and only one was easy to put back in it’s track, other 2 were difficult
I think this is the best tool rolling organizer out on the market. It blows away Milwaukee.
Milwaukee looks great but I'm cheap and got a few Tstaks. Now going all in on TB. For me, I agree with you but with their wider portfolio of tools they can integrate into boxes into their system makes a ton of sense for a lot of people especially a business that has a bunch of tools to keep things simple.
you probably voted for Joe Biden then if you think TB has a better system than big red.
I don't believe it blows Milwaukee away but sales will be the ultimate predictor. I have a few Milwaukee packout 2/3 drawer set up. I do really like the toughbuilt system and will invest in these when I can find a deal. This system seems very versatile With a cleaner look
Absolutely it does 💯
How so? How do you put a wide one on top of 2 skinny ones?
I’m a Milwaukee fan boy and wish I had waited for this system. But alas, I’m too invested in red and black at this point
Deal breaker and why I returned them.. the space in the drawer unit is ridiculously small. None of my tools would fit easily or only one tool in the same space other brands fit many more. I really wanted them to work out too :(
Bummer . Really love the unlatching/latching feature on these.
I really like tough built shiiiit and my dewalt pack out has done ok over the years, well everything but the latches, so I do need a new one but I haven’t pulled the trigger bc they’re so expensive.
do porter cable videos pls
Can’t wait till the xl draws come out.
Test the cooler!! Been waiting on that
Coming soon!
How did you get these so cheap? Prices seem in line with other boxes to me
What’s the height of the rolling box without the handle
I started buying this system last week and I love it and the prices// Milwaukee is going to go down if they don’t lower prices// people see that there’s not a way to lock this system well people look on the side you will see where you can put a lock not on the front just heads up
Why no love for Dewalt Tstak . Great lightweight budget solution. As someone who manages lots of three family walk-ups and has 30+ boxes lightness and cost matter so i mix some tstaks and Milwaukee packouts.
TEST THE COOLER!!! TEST THE COOLER!!! great vid. Vince!!
Do I make the transition from Packout to this??
Great job boet!
Is there a company that has wheels that have motors in them so it can assist you when pulling or pushing ?
Nope
You're going to love the Advanced Transporter System we have coming
That’s what I need
These are still expensive as hell at my Lowe’s. I’m just waiting for the new Milwaukee rolling cart with the handle that goes lower than the tonneau cover and doesn’t need to be removed. It’s supposed to be out in a few months. I’m a Milwaukee guy and if it’s the same price as toughbuilt that’s what I’ll go with.
I converted to toughbuilt from packout.
Give us your thoughts please.
@@VCGConstruction definitely has an edge up for electrical work. Just having a wire spool tool sold me. And the pickup truck bed dolly is awesome for getting in and out of the job quickly. toughbuilt tool pouches are also tailor made to electrical and tech work. packout was pretty cool and modular, but it definitely shines in more construction based trades. of course, what do I know!!! lol.
I feel like Ridgid boxes and vacuums was everywhere 12 years ago and the gang boxes prior to Milwaukee or anyone else - and the price was right
I agree cuz, times are always changing! 👍🏻
Which Lowe’s had this deal? I’ve been looking online for deals on these daily
Where are you looking, online?
I tried the Toughbuilt system. It is very well built but had a couple of issues that I didn't like (would have ignored if the system was cheaper!). For one, due to the build quality it comes with extra weight compared to other systems. For instance the small tool box is around 10 pounds, vs as example the Dewalt TS 2.0 at around 7 pounds. Also if you forget to latch the bottom compartment you can't latch it unless you pull the box on top up a little bit to give it room. Also limited trays that help organize. The drawer system was the only questionable quality to a degree. I agree these are little things. The front release system is great, handles etc...Ultimately no perfect system yet!
I use the 1950 greyhound suet case, first tough. Box . Solid . He ! Haw! 😮
Looks good & all but I think I’ll stick with my RIGID setup and it is still kicking ass to this day, very sturdy, rigid and very affordable too.
I’ve been waiting for this to come to the U.K. I didn’t want a bright red packout to be left on site for the cost of it.
Ive always been a fan of toughbuild engineering.. i use almost all their products .. i wish i was still out in the field working so i can buy these boxes.. i am now in government maintenance contract and we really dont work
"You don't actually put any cargo in the bed of your truck. 'I got a tonneau cover'". (grins) SUBSCRIBED.
In what world are these considered cheap? Looking at the 3 piece starter set at Lowes it's $300 right now. Milwaukee's 3 piece Packout starter kit is $250 at Home Depot
I think they make the best ones
Ridged 2.0 boxes are my fav. Also only one I own. 😂
do a video on the hart one
my handle broke on one of my milwaukee carts so I see one major thing I like already
I love my Klein mod box, I can access the bottom wheel box with the two top boxes on, I get rave reviews from co workers and other trades on site,
