- In this video I test the DJI OSMO POCKET 3 in a low light environment wedding video shoot and compare its low light performance vs the Sony FX-3 Sony a7SIII Sony ZV-E1. Everyone wants to know HOW DOES THE DJI OSMO POCKET 3 DO IN LOW LIGHT and IS THE LOW LIGHT FOOTAGE OF THE DJI OSMO POCKET 3 ANY GOOD. First we have to define what is low light video and we have to compare it to the best low light camera available the Sony Fx3 a7SIII and zv-e1. Hey everyone,
I realize I deleted the Audio at 4:51 by mistake. I was just explaining you can use the DJI Pocket 3 next to the main camera and get a 50mm type shot and also get a 20mm focal length on DJI Pocket 3 and mix the shot in the edit no problem...

came to your video because of recommendation of pocket 3, but wow, turns out it's much more than that, your videography skill is truly phenomenal, really love how you use it as a drone shot, I have a fleet of DJI drone shots and I have flown inside the church; it's way too loud. pocket 3 is indeed amazing, glad I also got it.

I had already subscribed for all videos, and was listening to you suggest who the pocket 3 was for. You stated most people will match the pocket 3 with your main camera to get additional shots, but when you were naming off the main cameras and said to a lesser extent....and I quote...."Canon Trash"....I first erupted in a roaring belly laughed and I am still laughing as I type this comment...😂😂🤣🤣😂😂....I love it. I used this set up for 3 weddings now! I dont bring my main gimbal anymore.
Crushing it on the content m8! Gotta say the P3 detail & gradients in church looked far better than I woulda guessed, love the idea of this for weddings.
Was watching first part of this and was like “damn imma have to be the douche-viewer that has to demand link to extension rod” but you called it out and saved me some embarrassment hahahaaa. You find it plenty stable for P3/action cams etc? My monopod works okay, but feel like it’s overkill.

Kinda nice to see kids toy camera used by professionals :) I just use it for filming kids.. But yes I know. Videography is an art. You dont need 4k 10bit 422 logs luts in most cases. The camera is the last thing that matters. Lighting, audio and story are more important thing than specs. Video must be feeling in heart not spec analyse for nerds. In creative hands in good lighting 10 even 15 years old cameras are great.

I used the DJI pocket 3 at a bar last weekend. Video wise it wasn’t bad in low light, but the photos were pretty bad. It’s weird because I got some great city shots in low light, but as soon as I did a group photo with friends, the quality was pretty bad. Photo wise with people, didn’t turn out great. But no complaints on video

Good insight on its use. You only have to use it for a couple shots to be worthwhile, like a drone, when you have a drone you don’t shoot the whole video with a drone.

@@eike.zender I just ordered the Ace Pro, the low light performance and flip screen are very important for me. Today's action cams, if don't need bokeh, are excellent cameras: you have big sensors (1/1.3" is short from 1 inch. 1 inch = 1/1.0 ), good dynamic range and many other possibilities. I already sold all my cameras and I have only an iPhone 15 Pro Max + Ace Pro: I'm no professional but until now, my family is very pleased with the results even on a big screen.
Also other person can control gimbal angle of pocket 3 while you concentrated to move with high long stick.. :)

You guys should consider a rifle shoulder strap for the gimbals (I'd suggest the new one from SmallRig for DJI gimbals but I wouldn't give money to smallrig if I were you😅)

I looked more into this:
- Osmo3 is 20mm f/5.4 equiv
- iPhone 15Pro main camera is 24mm f/6.3 equiv (1.2x focal length, 1.17x aperture, so more or less same depth of field / light gathering)
- ZV-E1 with 20mm f/2.8 gives you 4x the light gathering and shallow depth of field (and flexility to use even faster lenses)
So compared to the iPhone 15Pro, the Osmo 3 gives you a wider image with physical stabilisation with more or less the same depth of field and low light performance. You can match this performance on the ZV-E1 by setting the lens to f/5.4.

I have a 3 day wedding in Texas with an Indian family which I’m so hype about. I was thinking of getting this because of all the run and gun shots and didn’t want to lug the gimbal all day long. Most of the wedding is outdoor I’m thinking with ND’s this just might work. What do you think? By the way the editing is crazy 🔥
