    I like the fact that you give as many information as you can, so everyone attempting to do the same thing on their SRAD, they'll have a good clue of what to expect. Good on you Russell!

    Could you give some more information on exactly what to ask for as far as buying those forks? ... Do I just ask if they have any Suzuki 1000 K4 shocks and that's if, or is there a certain year or year spacing like from 2005-2009 type thing. Don't laugh too hard at me, I'm 64 years old but I refuse to give up driving my 99 Gixxer until my eyes don't work anymore.

    Not fuel, it's oil from the engine breather hose that returns to the airbox. You literally pointed to the airbox drain plug that's weeping oil, probably because the reservoir and sponge within it is full.
    Open your airbox up and you'll see. Looking at the date of this video, you or your mechanic has probably done that already.
    And why didn't you run the 1000's rotors, tripple clamps and front wheel?
    The whole front end basically

    • @Roostabergers
      @Roostabergers  2 года назад

      A mate of mine had them in his shed. You could easily have them made up out of 2mm aluminium.

    Can you use the k4 wheel instead of the srad wheel or is it too narrow?

    • @Roostabergers
      @Roostabergers  3 месяца назад

      Hi, I think the wheel will be to narrow and you would need to get spacers made up. Easier way would be to get K4 triples and top clamp. Then it will all mate up

    I’m doing the same thing just wondering what did you do about the steering stops?

    • @Roostabergers
      @Roostabergers  2 года назад

      I used the SRAD Triple and ignition. That way you don't have to worry about the stops. You do need to run the spacer for the disks.
      You can run the K4 Tripple but then you need to do something about the steering stops. I added some bolts on the K1 stops on 96. It has a full K1 front end.
