Bo was A SEC Track champion and one of the fastest 2 or 3 track athletes in the country at the time he ran his hand clock 4:09 at the combined and his 4:13 fully automated timing (FAT), with the clock starting electronically a week later. There is a huge difference in track VS football speed lol
Adam Sarduci he ran 6.18 for 60 and 10.39 for 100 and wasn't the fastest. Herschel walker at roughly the same weight ran a world record 60 yards and a 10.22 100 10.10 windy. Walker did these at 20 bo was 23. I aporeciate bos talent but his speed was overhyped as was his nfl career based on an average per carry lower than charles. Marcus allen took all the low yardage short carries while bo had the higher average runs taking a couple to the house. Theres no way bo was 4.12 electronic if he was so much quicker than all pro players his 60 and 100 speed would be way faster. Sammie smith a 230 pounder for miami and curtis dickey 225 cleveland had equally fast 100 and 60 yard times for dickey a decade earlier.
Paul Ward I agree with you 100%, but Adam Sarduci didn't say that Bo was the fastest. He said that he was the fastest 2 or 3. Ace Royal was the one who said that Bo was the fastest running back ever. 😂😂😂 I think that Adam was being sarcastic about Bo loool
Just won the IAAF diamond league 100 meter championship at 9.79. Amazing speed at only 22 years old. Watch out 2020 Olympics, De grasse ran a 9.69 but that was wind aided at 22 years old as well. Those 2 will be dueling for years to come.
John Ross, Christian Coleman, and Usain Bolt should run a 50 meter (that's the key words) race. Like if you would want to see that, comment who would win
This is definitely legit. He ran 9.76 in the 100m last year and broke the 60m world record with a time of 6.34. Track speed is on a whole different level because sprinters have way better form, and know how to make the most of the strength they have. Football players aren't trained to run 100m straight every game, so if they switch to track most of them would run crazy times too.
Laughing at these comments comparing Coleman to Bo J... yeah, Bo was a remarkable athlete, and 230 lbs... but Coleman would wipe the floor with him in a sprint, hands down.
I'm not surprised as Christian is a professional sprinter. I'm still more impressed by Bo Jackson running a 4.13 electronically timed back in 1986, at 6'1" 222 lbs
All 60m races are indoor and I heard the air is thicker indoor so it would of been more difficult for Christian Coleman. Plus Bolts race also had 0.9m/s wind. So comparing Christian Coleman's 6.34 vs Usain Bolt's 6.31. I think Christian Coleman is faster at 60m than Bolt.
Then you dont know how sprint techniques works. depending on the distance to run there are different ways to run them.. at the 100m where bolt did 6.31 he did not try to reach top speed to early because then you have to try to maintain it longer which will make you lose speed over a longer distance. Bolt could reach a top speed maybe at 40-50meters if he wanted to but its not ideal for 100m. also same for Coleman he sometimes has a to short drive phase and then starts to slow down after 60meters already.
I understqand its hard to compare because Bolt had planned to run a 100m race not a 60m race so maybe he didnt go all out at the drive phase.@@123fockewolf
I timed it frame by frame and got 4.37 no bs. They speed up the clock at the end. If you don’t believe me go to a frame timer and time it, the time on the clock speeds up at the end. Also it’s funny how they didn’t show the time on the timing system they were using.
Nfl dudes just salty that sprinters run much faster even in the only distance they should be slower so they start throwing excuses like being heavier, pads ball or whatever. Just accept the FACTS and focus on you own sport insted.
I think the NFL don't want people running this fast in the game. When all of the track guys came in and made an impact they started weeding them out. Now it's going back to the fast guys because the game got boring. People want to see speed now a days.
@@packers256 The NFL doesn't want players running 4.2 40's. The 90's had faster players at the skill position, wr's, rb's and db's were smaller but faster.
yes he is the fastest track college athlete in america and will more then likely baring any injury compete for the US at the next world championships and next Olympics in the 100 and 200 and relay races.
Felix Raidt Of course this is real. He's considered the second fastest man in the world behind Justin Gatlin bc he came in 2nd behind Gatlin in the 2017 World Championship. Usain Bolt came in third. Check it out on RUclips for yourself. Usain is considered the 3rd fastest man in the world this year, just behind Christian Coleman. Track speed is a lot faster than Football speed. Football is more about side to side quickness & agility. Speed in football helps, if the athlete knows how to use it but it's not the end all be all. And as history has proven, a lot of very fast football players haven't really excelled in football. Quickness has.
I think it is real. World class sprinters are judged by a higher criteria than football players but that said that`s still ridiculously fast! Dont be surprised if an NFL team drafts him even though he never played football. Like they did with Carl Lewis and other great sprinters.
That is the difference between track and field speed and football speed i was a track and field athlete as well as a football player most track and field athletes will tell you that the 40 yard dash means absolutely nothing in track and field my best 40 was a 4.4 seconds which is respectable but as a track athlete the 40 yard dash is not a true measure of speed especially if you are a 200 m runner or above
So what he's a sprinter. Not a football player. Can he bench 225lbs+ 10+ times and still run that time... NO ! The 40 yard time only holds weight in American football (with everything else in their regiment).
Most world class sprinters can bench 225 lbs for more than 10 reps. I coach sprinters that are far from world class and some do more than 10 reps without any particular focus on bench training.
Actually he squats 405 for reps so I wouldn’t be surprised if he could bench 225 for a few. But he doesn’t train specifically for upper body strength, and the bench Press isn’t really that important for football. Leg strength and explosiveness is 10x more important and he has that. He’s small but fast and strong.
Christian Coleman was the best runner of his day. Nobody faster in his day. Anybody know what his best 100 yard and 220 yard times were? How long ago he ran? When did he retire?

Bo was A SEC Track champion and one of the fastest 2 or 3 track athletes in the country at the time he ran his hand clock 4:09 at the combined and his 4:13 fully automated timing (FAT), with the clock starting electronically a week later. There is a huge difference in track VS football speed lol
and was the fastest running back ever
Adam Sarduci 😂😂😂 Clock starting a week later lmao!!!!
Herschel was right there to but yeah I`ll probably have to go with Bo as well.
Greatest accelerator of all time
Imagine being a police officer trying to catch him.
Mr Coleman is one of the top ten running people in the 40, 55 yard, 82 and 107 yards dashes
82 and 107??
what are these numbers lmaoo
Just picture this coming at you while standing directly in the path of the 40yard finish 0:34
He would get fucking rocked by a safety 40 pounds heavier than him
@@rym148 no safety could catch him, though
@@KorZen10 I didn’t say that. The comment said imagine this coming right at you. In that case he would get absolutely smashed
@@rym148 oh my bad 😂 yeah that shit would be terrifying
Just won the IAAF diamond league 100 meter championship at 9.79. Amazing speed at only 22 years old. Watch out 2020 Olympics, De grasse ran a 9.69 but that was wind aided at 22 years old as well. Those 2 will be dueling for years to come.
He reminds me of a young Darrell Green💯
he's way faster
I have noticed he seems to have greater range of motion in his hips than the other athletes
Acceleration is unreal
I really think Asafa Powell in his prime could've maybe beaten this time.
No
Usain Bolt, during retirement, not even preparing, probably watching tv on his couch the day before, wearing pants and sneakers, ran a 4.22
That run was staged. He did not run 4.22 it was more like 4.6.
sydboski you are stupid. There’s literally video proof of it
@@sydboski it was laser timed. plus you can se on the timer above the track that he was at the Finnish line at about 4.2
@@user-mg2dq4ty6c Time it yourself moron.
@@TH-cx2yx Time it yourself. You will see it is no where near 4.22.
that acceleration is insane
John Ross, Christian Coleman, and Usain Bolt should run a 50 meter (that's the key words) race. Like if you would want to see that, comment who would win
+V1ct0r Han We have Christian Coleman!
As I would expect so :D
bolt would not win of course, hes way taller than the others.
V1ct0r Han coleman wins by far. his start is probably the best in the world right now.
Bolt would not win hes a slow starter
My god. 1 step and hes at full speed.
This is the fastest 40 ever so enjoy it. 3.89 hand time 4.12 electonic. Gatlin only ran 4.4 when he was banned
When did he run the 40?
Gatlin also has a way better second half then Colman
I think gatlin jinxed that, he could definitely go faster. He is a good starter too
Speed kills! Brilliant!
He is so fast
German Bob Sled pusher years ago ran a 3.98 in the forty.
Um... No.
BROKE THE WORLD RECORD 6.37s quickest man on Earth right here
Yea sorry but I don’t think Bo Jackson came anywhere close to this 40 yard dash time...
That is true.
Possibly a 4.10-4.11 if he leaned forward at the finish line, what a beast!
9 82
Side view looks crazy. Almost looks sped up.
Bo's time is a hand timed fluffed myth.
I like how, according to many, Bo is basically The Flash. He never had 30 stolen bases in a season.
Bo Jackson.. everyone forgets about The Fridge! William Perry. 370 pounds and fast as lightning!
Imagine if he got a 3.80 something. That would be awesome
Imagine if I could fly, that would be awesome
Imagine if I had $1,000,000, that would be awesome
And Bo Jackson thinks he ran 4.13. LMAO!!!
Lol
Lmao hand time
@@JD-rj2bm hand timed and fluffed.
New world record from this champ. 6.37 in 60m
Also it’s funny how they didn’t show the time on the timing system they were using.
i thought so too
I ran a 4.10 in Florida...it was wind aided in a hurricane...😂😂
sure you did
It’s probably legit. In bolts world record 100m his 40 split was 4.18. But that’s right about the Mark bolt destroys the field
of course he's faster than most nfl players. He doesn't have the 20-30 lbs of muscle to sustain all the hits during a season
Go and look at the man who's 60m record he broke. Maurice Greene would probably run just as fast a 40 and was much larger
Most? No. Hes faster than all of them BY FAR
Facts run 4.33 235 dk metcalf that facts all that muscle
@@Kims8978 and never played a full season in college
he is also a sprinter and way faster than them
0:27 seconds rocket start holy shit😂😍😍
It's Like watching one of those little gas powered RC cars take off.
速すぎw
Hell yeah,lets go Vols
Nfl dudes just salty that sprinters run much faster even in the only distance they should be slower so they start throwing excuses like being heavier, pads ball or whatever.
Just accept the FACTS and focus on you own sport insted.
I think the NFL don't want people running this fast in the game. When all of the track guys came in and made an impact they started weeding them out. Now it's going back to the fast guys because the game got boring. People want to see speed now a days.
Facts
@@G-Forceverifiedspeed What in the world is this comment?
@@packers256 The NFL doesn't want players running 4.2 40's. The 90's had faster players at the skill position, wr's, rb's and db's were smaller but faster.
@@G-Forceverifiedspeed Why wouldn't they want speedy players? Or are you saying that today's game is more built for stronger players?
The dude would smoke any speedster in the nfl
Yeah Bo ain’t run no 4.12 😂😂
EXACTLY!!!! Finally someone with some common sense. Thank you!!
This video is now relevant again
is this real ?
Felix Raidt dude ran a 9.82
Felix Raidt of course
yes he is the fastest track college athlete in america and will more then likely baring any injury compete for the US at the next world championships and next Olympics in the 100 and 200 and relay races.
Coleman is probably the fastest runner in history over 40 yards.
Who's here after watching usian bolts 40 yard dash 😂😂😂
👋🏽
Me
Coleman’s acceleration is the best in the world
Football athletes are chockful of gear. They can never pass a track n field drug test.
That is the difference between track and field speed and football speed i was a track and field athlete as well as a football player most track and field athletes will tell you that the 40 yard dash means absolutely nothing in track and field my best 40 was a 4.4 seconds which is respectable but as a track athlete the 40 yard dash is not a true measure of speed especially if you are a 200 m runner or above
bo jackon had the same 40 time, but at 230 weight
Brian Ellender lol no
jumangi Jim search it up then
Brian Ellender its hand time obviously
Redi Redi nfl doesn't use hand times for official times
Redi Redi its laser
Superb song
So what he's a sprinter. Not a football player. Can he bench 225lbs+ 10+ times and still run that time... NO ! The 40 yard time only holds weight in American football (with everything else in their regiment).
Most world class sprinters can bench 225 lbs for more than 10 reps. I coach sprinters that are far from world class and some do more than 10 reps without any particular focus on bench training.
go take a look at asafa powell
Actually he squats 405 for reps so I wouldn’t be surprised if he could bench 225 for a few. But he doesn’t train specifically for upper body strength, and the bench Press isn’t really that important for football. Leg strength and explosiveness is 10x more important and he has that. He’s small but fast and strong.
Tyreek hill is so obsessed about beating bolt in the 40, why don’t you try beating Coleman’s 4.12?
With starting blocks and a track surface, wouldn’t surprise me if he dipped under 4.
Song name??
And Tyreek wanna race this man...
Wish he would’ve played football in college and ended up in the NFL.
No one in the world has a better start then him nobody. I bet that on anything
That is world record for sure. Im really wondering if the human body can do sub 4 seconds without steroids and doping of course
This is Coleman out of season, i.e. not even close to his peak, so this could be up to .1 of a second slower than when he's at his peak in a season
Tennessee has two of the fastest Americans that have ever ran in the world JG CC
until he can dominate the 100 AND 200...then he's REALLY doin somethin
He is dominating the 100.
did he do it in running spukes or football cleats?
Hold my Blunt !
Christian Coleman was the best runner of his day. Nobody faster in his day.
Anybody know what his best 100 yard and 220 yard times were? How long ago he ran? When did he retire?
Are you serious? Coleman is the reigning 100m World champion.
