- Today i will take you on my 100 hour journey trough pokemon storm silver this is an enhanced rom hack of pokemon soulsilver where all the pokemon that i need to capture are available. I will be setting a bunch of challenges upon myself that i will have to complete by the end of it. Including catching a SHINY and completing the pokedex!

Got to say, this type of content is always my favorite. Games never have a good way of showing what "100%" completion looks like, and these 100 hour videos do it pretty well in my opinion.

Let's say there's a good reason we now have "100 days/hours in" of everything, it is actually a good format
Storm silver is nothing short of a masterpiece on top of what was basically already a masterpiece that Nintendo gave us. The higher level scaling, the entire dex being available to catch, the unique but not too cryptic legendary encounters, everything sums up what I'd honestly say is the best single-player focused "classic" pokemon experience one can have.
Hgss is far from a "masterpiece" and this is an edgy fan game. Pokemon fans are truly delusional LMAOOO

This was one of the best if not the best Pokémon game ever made. Loved it so much. 16 gyms, 2 regions, many legendary Pokémon, a lot of minigames, a lot of secrets, and man, the battle with Red…

The normal version only problem for me due to being 11 and having no internet was i could never fill my pokedex wish they made a way to allow you to finish national dex without trades
Except for the fact that grinding is fkn annoying...

Aw man, such a coincidence that you are playing this. Started trying to get a living dex on Platinum. So fair I'm just short the Kanto starters so I'm planning on replaying SoulSilver now to get those.

@@spyroapplesauce That is true, but thats when you get them. When you are done with the Elite 4,you can meet up with the professors around the place to collect the rest of them. As is seen in the video.

So, that cutscene with Arceus was actually part of a unique event! If you took a specific event Arceus to the scientists in the ruins of alph, they'd call Cynthia, who'd take you to the Sinjoh ruins, and that cutscene would happen when you took it to the center, and let you pick any of the 3 creation trio at level 1.
Honestly a great Video and the 100 Hours Series is a great idea well deservered keep going looking forward to the next part of the series
I played this game briefly on my old phone using emulator and I LOVED it! The weaker mons have been modified to be more competitive too. I'm currently playing the fangame version, pretty much like this one, called Pokemon Old Amber.
Can't wait for Legends Arceus for 100 Hours! (I'm choosing Cyndaquil by the way. The New Typlosion is so freaking COOL).

Volo is the Cynthia's ancestor aka the main villan of the legend arceus and owner of giratina who wanna end the world and make a new world and he is the worst person ever
Cyllenee is crusts ancestor and very good and helps us in the journey

im at 650 hours on my soulsilver game yet im not even close to being done with the pokedex
@@crazystevy9228 I got National Dex, have level 100 of all legendaries, beat Cynthia in one try, rechallenged the E4 at least 10 times, did the Heatran side story, beat Cynthia again 10 times, and caught em all. All in 100 hours. And in Platinum
@@StevenRogerRoger that's kinda impossible to do in 100 hours, as there's at least 5 legendaries that you get at level 70 or so. getting them to level 100 given which exp group they're in is difficult as hell, and that's only one factor. but I may just be an idiot but ok.

Same, I had like 365hrs and reset and put another like 180 afterwards, still have that save to this day
Great work really is a shame that Nintendo doesn't embrace rom-hacking for their old games as they could learn from them and maybe improve future games
In PLA you can get a spefic item with MP(Merit Points) so you dont have to trade but can actually evolve those pkmn, pretty cool if I say so myself

I chose Rowlet in Legends Arceus (because it's been my favourite since 2016) but after I beat the main story I added the other two to my team as well. Time to hunt for Shiny Rowlet in the time-space distortions.

Fantastic content. I was honestly surprised at how long it took you to find shiny Ledyba because I encountered (and caught) a shiny Psyduck on route 32 after about 2 hours of play time. I thought the odds were drastically reduced but I haven’t found another shiny since so I guess I got lucky…

Please do more of these! My suggestion is black 2 and white 2. I also think a modded game like this one would be great. Here are some goals I think might work:
-Complete National Dex
-Beat white forest/black city
-Catch a shiny
-Complete all of the medals
-Get an entire party up to lvl 100
-Find a shiny
-Beat Cynthia in Undella Town

This is my favourite rom hack. It combines sweet nostalgia with a hint of novelty and difficulty

Hey Zwiggo question: What are Soul Silvers' shiny odds? Because I started the hack and the second Pokemon I meet before getting pokeballs happened to be a shiny God(Bidoof). And I'm really pissed off
Pretty sure it’s like 8194 or something like that
there are 2 versions, you either have 1/8192 or 1/512
Update: Found a shiny Whismur and was able to catch it
