@@saxdc2482 I hear you, we're coming into finals week unlike when it was in the summer. My strategy is to watch the top group games like GER-SPA, FRA-DEN, BEL-CRO, POR-URU, as many R16 as possible, then absolutely all the QFs to the Final. That's only 7 matches, QFs, SFs, F, but they'll be coming thick and fast. After that, I'll go into WC withdrawal, LOL. luckily Xmas will be in a week.
I really think Serbia could be the dark horse, they have a lot of good players (mostly in serie A) like Milinkovic-Savic and Vlahovic. Love this videos❤️

Yeah I personally had a hard time deciding If I thought Switzerland or Serbia would come 2nd in the group. I think it could go either way. I was surprised Spencer put them 4th.

Good predictions, however they seem quite straightforward - I'm absolutely certain theres gonna be a shock to the system, which happens in pretty much every world cup. My ideas are that France will get grouped, Ecuador will make it out of their group, and I think someone like Wales or Iran will reach the quarters. But that's just my thoughts. The hype is real!
100% with you on this there’s always a surprise, believe it not 4 of the last 5 world cups the winner haven’t made it out of the group stage the following World Cup

Of course there will be some shocks, but most people, when they make predictions, like to play it safe. Spencer and I are both like that.
I think France won’t do as good as everyone saying there team quite weak compared to most times

I’ve been waiting for this video, and it did not disappoint! I think it’s crazy how you and I always have very similar predictions; in 2018 mine were almost identical to yours and this time I have very similar ones, except that I have Spain winning the group over Germany and Portugal losing to Germany in the quarterfinals. And I’m surprised you predicted France to go to the final considering the champions curse. But I agree with you, and I think that because the curse started with France, they will be the ones to break it.

@@robert111k He plays for Uruguay, so no. His team wont go far, plus one thing is playing around top players like in Madrid and a different scenario is to play with your Uruguay teammates.

Can see them winning the whole thing. They have arguably the best player in the world right now, Valverde, and that puts them among te top favourites along with France and Brazil.

As an Aussie, Spen was pretty kind to us. 4th with our squad wouldn't look out of place. 3rd assumes we get any points at all which is isn't impossible, but is the outer limits of this squad. 2nd only if France have a stroke and let the WC curse ruin them.
I think you will get wolloped by France and Denmark, and Tunisia beat you 1-0 or a goaless draw. Sorry but you have a very poor squad, although you already know that... good luck !
@@t.c.4321 Lets see, I think you might be surprised. I feel like team chemistry is very good which we have, and we know the conditions well in Qatar. We also played Peru off the park for large parts of the qualifier and went all the way with France last tournament

Tend to always have a very good squad
France just havnt ben good lately. If gonna be really interesting to see them against Denmark. They met 3 times in the past 6-7 months and Denmark won all 3 i believe.

My predictions:
Mexico to lose in the last 16 (for the eighth World Cup in a row)
Drama in the French camp (like in 2010)
South American team in the final against a European team
Iran to finish bottom of group B but only concede two goals in the group stage (they're good defensively)
Personally thought that was quite harsh on Ghana, if they can gel they can do well because their team is double decent

Hype is getting there! Here are a few of my bold predictions:
1) Denmark beat France and top their group and France will have a huge stinker this year (previous champions tend to flop the following World Cup).
2) Engeland will NOT win their group and get knocked out by the Netherlands in the round of 16.
3) Uruguay will go deep. Their squad is really looking strong. Valverde, Araujo and Nunez to name a few. I'm getting South-Africa 2010 vibes from them (damn I miss Diego Forlan...).
4) Portugal have the potential to go very deep since their squad is among the strongest their is, but with that coach they will most likely get knocked out in like the quarter finals. Imagine having that many attacking options and world-class midfielders and still line up with William Carvalho and Danilo Pereire. My head hurts.
5) Winner of semi-final Argentina vs. Brazil will most likely win the World Cup.

@@lauriazoldyck yes unfortunately, if all were to be right I would probably be a millionaire loool. Safe to say this World Cup has already provided us with quite some surprises already. Belgium being really average, Argentina & Germany getting stunned by Saudi Arabia and Japan. Netherlands disappointing against Ecuador. And we’re not done yet! Hype was at an all time low, but it’s fully back.
the utter disrespect on morocco. a team with a phenomenal squad and could be the real dark horse. could very well get out the group with 2 aging european sides and a inexperienced lack of skill candian side. dont disrespect the best african squad.

Guys believe you me this ain't your old Serbia, it's a new, improved one. New coach, new found confidence, players love playing for him. Mitrovic, Vlahovic, Tadic work great together with a passion and i have them finishing 2nd.
Also, Croatia will win the group over Belgium, remember that. This ain't your old crazy unbeatable Belgium, they are quite weaker.

I know I’ve probably got a sting bias being English but I think if we’re playing at our best I think we beat France especially with nkunku being injured recently.

British guys predictions always be like: england winning, western european/famous latin american country getting through, asian/arab countries last of their group. This was the case maybe 20 years ago, not anymore...! There are some upsets like KSA winning against Argentina, but putting Morocco or Iran last without hesitation is lack of global football knowledge

The problem with Portugal is the coach. Sure we have a balanced squad and we won the euros and the first nations league, but with Fernando Santos, we never play very well. Either way, good luck to every country you are supporting. Vamos Portugal!

I feel like people are sleeping on morocco so hard. I don't think canada can beat them. It's really weird to me how so many people put canada ahead of morocco in the group. I mean they could do it, but if anyone has a chance to go through between the two of them, it's definitely morocco
USA, Mexico have been preparing the tournament for the last 4 weeks which is not the case of the europeans nations. We should see some big surprised in the group stages.

Watching this after Belgium, Germany, Uruguay, and Denmark are all out. That really screwed us over! Also the fact that you had Messi and Ronaldo going out in the semifinals would hurt a lot of people as we would be agonizingly close to having that final. But not me because as great as those two are, I prefer watching the final that you predicted between the two best teams. Football is, after all, a team sport.
