Gravity Sketch - Alien queen - modeling the arms
This video is the third in a series using Gravity Sketch in a Meta Quest 3 to create polygonal models. In this case it’s a creature and we’ve gone for the amazing Queen Alien from the 1986 epic Aliens.
In this video I’ll make starting to make the final geometry and we will be starting with the arms.

This is ‘true’ subdividable geometry that can be 3D printed or used in other programs. The same that you would see in programs like Blender, Cinema4D and Maya.

SO another one that was recorded in PASSTHROUGH. As mentioned in other videos we are not going to do this in future videos as its seems too distracting for the viewer. There is actually one more for the arm and tail and then we are back in VR fully.

Awesome sauce! I can’t wait for the next episode. I’m surprised how fast and accurate the whole blockout process was, considering the software looks so hard to master. Do your arms not hurt after a while of this?
