Just to add 6 hours later I realise I do still smell that citrus/pineapple accord albeit more subtle along with something similar to the dry down of Bleu De Chanel. Longevity seems pretty good.
Hmmm, does the world need another Aventus … I don’t know. And here’s a confession: I bought 30ml of Aventus at the very beginning of my fragrance journey as it was heavily discounted. I guess I wore it two or three times and actually preferred the Zara „Vibrant Leather“ clone … that I then gave to my partner. Love that lipstick! The colour really suits you!
I got a 30 ml of Carmina a couple weeks ago (for 20% off!) and am loving it. It was my SOTD today. It's not overly sweet at all, which is why I like it...more like a sour cherry to me. Enjoyed the video!
Really enjoyed your smelly trip to the shops. I'm curious about Carmina, but not overly bothered at the same time. I have to admit, I'm a little smitten with the new penhaligon's line up. I'm just waiting for another sample and I'm hoping to do a little overview of them, but i should admit to now owning two of the bottles, and have plans for another two at a later date 😂😂. Clearly they've won we over.
😂😂 wow you have fallen! I think my fave was the Love one but they did all smell pretty decent from the nozzles. I love the apothecary aesthetic of the bottles.
Yea I thought the Absolu was darker, woodier and smokier than the OG. But not in any way similar to the Armaf Club Nuit Intense Man, other than yhe obvious Aventus OG relationship. The Armaf is screechier and more synthetic than the OG, thats all. Not closer in scent profile to Absolu.
The dry down of Carmina is a bit lacking, just a pale powdery sweet woody thing possibly a bit chemical for you? Think it is for me too now but had a promising start. Thank you I’ve been wanting to add a mint green jumper to my wardrobe 💚
Smelling new sh** is what my dog likes to do too. 😂 Appreciate your impressions Claire! Few panties dropped at the end there too eh? 🤣 Btw, did you get to sniff the new Mr. Thompson from Penhaligon's? The iris one?
@@Smurfygurly Haven't tried it yet, but I hear it's got Dior Homme Intense vibes. Likely not worth the dough, but still nice to get an iris in once in a while.
I feel like I've saved so much money from not being a Penhaligan's lover. Their bottles are gorgeous, though. I'm curious about their new line.@@Smurfygurly
I think Creed are an underwhelming house overall. Virgin Island Water, Green Irish Tweed, Viking are okay. 😅 Also, I’m proud of you for vlogging in public!! Most people would be petrified but I love that you’re getting out there and doing it
Creed is my favorite house. Green Irish Tweed, Bois du Portugal, EROLFA (the greatest marine/oceanic scent in history imo), Millesime Imperial, Green Valley, Aventus, Royal Oud, Royal Water, Viking, Pure White Cologne, Spice and Wood. Underwhelming? 😂

Yes you definitely don’t strike me as an Aventus man Andreas! Thank you ☺️

Carmina is where our roads diverge. I didn't like it at all.
That jumper color will look beautiful on you!

@@Smurfygurly Yes, exactly! It's OK, I have a few "go to" Cherry perfumes in my arsenal. :)

Oh I didn’t know there was a new iris one! So far that animal head line hasn’t been my cuppa, have you tried it?
Yes multiple panties dropped 🩲

What are your top 3 Creeds on a man?
Spice and Wood, Royal Oud & Royal Water
