About me - I'm Claire and I live in the UK. My taste in perfumes is usually quite sweet but not too sweet, I love white florals but not tuberose so much. I like gourmands as long as they smell like perfumes still, I require my perfumes to change a little bit as I wear them ie not linear. I don't enjoy oud, leather, cumin, saffron or strong patchouli however there can be occasions where I do like perfumes with these notes if they are not too dominant. I enjoy most florals as long as they are backed up with something sweet or perhaps resins / insense. I tend to not enjoy anything very soapy. I also don't really enjoy very green fragrances. I am averse to overdoses of ambroxan and iso E super (timbersilk or similar) just because I find it annoying! I have no problem with synthetics in perfumery but I do enjoy perfumes that have some notes that at least smell like they could be from nature. My favourite type of perfumery is indie and I love Francesca Bianchi, Teone Reinthal, 4160 Tuesdays and Papillon Artisan Perfumes.

Hi Claire! I’ve been wearing Levant today! I did go to the department store and lather my arms in it. 🙂 It is beautiful. Not 100% for me, but getting there. Not too musky. Nice citrus and white floral opening and sweet amber dry down. Yes, it performs well. Very high quality. The right side of feminine for me. Definitely pretty! 🙏

If I had to pick a signature from my collection, it would be Petit Matin. But that really is best as a spring summer signature. So I'd need one for autum, winter, so I would probably pick Chipmunk or Cacao Porcelana. And then I would need a chillin at home/ bedtime signature... thinking Lumiere Blanche or Mojave Ghost. Yeah this signature thing is a bit difficult 😜
I remember really liking Petit Matin. Hey why not have a small group of signature scents?!

It would be difficult to pick a signature scent because no matter how wonderful it is I'd probably get tired of it after a few weeks. 🤣On the other hand, I don't need 300 bottles, either. 😱 I'm still trying to reach a happy medium. 😁

I would Say the opposite, I am tired of selecting the scent. Sometimes I miss the Times when I have 1-2 bottles.
Ooo Millesime Iris is a good pick. Like you said, it's a limited run, but still a lovely scent. Ps, by "doctor's surgery", do you mean a doctor who's having surgery? 🤭 Or are there others qualified to be cutting people open? 😂
