This is thanks to a european designed tractor!
The 1000 series are a pure Fendt product, with it's typical MAN engine and european engines are well known for being less thirsty...
It's always funny to see how north-american farmers are currently turning to european technology such as this outfit, because even if the Degelman is north-american made, it's a typically european tool and as said before, the tractor is just a repainted european Fendt...!!!

My brother who lives in Canada has been running a tillage tool they call it a short disk up there has had very good results for the last two years now. They also roll the fields after planting, too help firm the dirt around the seeds but also pushes small fist size rocks down. The rocks are just the right size to mess up high speed hay machine and they flip into a combine easily, again thanks for all of your great videos 😎

@@bigtractorpower Have a good day mister from Hungary!Thank you mister for your great appreciation! You are welcome in Europe, whenever you want, and of course in my homeland!I only joke yesterday about the small machines which we used in order to work the productive soil.Personally I do not have soil processing machines,i mean, tractor and all the rest machines which are necessary to work the productive soil, but the company with which I cooperate have. They have 4 big tractors Massey Ferguson with 300 HP and 4 small tractors as well with 160 or 165 HP,in a total land of 1200 hectars.that mean 3000 acres in USA.The corn planter isn't big like in USA with 36 rows, only 12 rows, but modern an very effectiv.3 pieces of 7 head rotating plow,1 piece of wheat planter with 48 rows,3 pieces of soil cultivater and combines for the autumn harvest. This company is based in livestock breeding with 1200 milking cows. So,they used the agricultural land,to produce the daily food for the cows.Feed corn, silage corn, triticale and alfalfa, but all this things give us work enough,in order to make the milking cows to be happy.I wish you mister a wonderful day from Hungary!Good luck and perseverance!

Great to have a fan in Italy. The key difference between the Fendt and Challenger is the controls. On the outside they are the same other than the color and badges.
Wonder if you can order a yellow Fendt. Over in the United States you can buy a Fendt 1000 in optional Forest Green, black, white and cherry red.
In the United States General Motors sells pick up trucks as the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra. Basically the same truck with a few more things in the cab of the GMC. AGCO has done the same thing as GM to sell the tractor in more places under two brands. I think it was a smart move.

These Degelman machines need power to run 10mph. A smaller hp 9R is a good match on a 26ft Pro-Till. The 33ft Pro-Till i filmed on a 9620R gave the 620 hp tractor a work out. This farm decided to move from an articulated machine to a fixed one. Both the 4wd and Challenger are basically the same horse power and engine size. The Pro-Till makes a nice seed bed. @@austinolson9100 Nope, the articulated Deere is rated for things like the DB-120 48 row planters and the like, the simple reason why is because the articulated tractor has about another 5-tons more dead weight, this is the partner of power,I've yet to see anybodies row crop pull one of these.

@@4gauge10 I would agree with those applications however this row crop tractor can be weighted up a lot heavier to complete with the articulates around the area I'm from there are a lot of high horse tractors doing jobs that are typically considered jobs for an articulate. I will rest my case and agree to disagree with you on this one.

      @@austinolson9100 A class 8 cannot compete with a class 9 machine,it's like saying a Honda civic can out pull a Ford F-450 4X4...HAHA!!.
I already watched a actual field test of the Challenger trying to pull a DB-120 planter.
I can honestly say this much, don't do it,all 4 wheels just sit and spin.

I guaruntee that the 500 hp version of this tractor could handle a db 120 and burn less fuel too

Certainly. I like to be accurate. To be transparent the first video I made with a M-A-N engine i said MAN and was quickly educated on how to say it. Great engine. 👍
