Always appreciate the chance to go out in the field and "see and hear" the machines in action. Means a lot, and glad to not have music piped in to cover up the field sounds. tks.
CASE 2590 with Case RPS 16 foot offset disc for fall tillage and a Steiger 335HD with a Case IH Tigermate digger for seed bed prep, bit a generation gap there, but thats what we got!! Love your work BTP. Thanks for your effort
We run the same Sunflower but we pull it with a John Deere 9620r with triples (i could send you some pics),I forget the model number on ours but it's a 60' and we run ours in front of the planter and we have 16 inches or overhang on our baskets and we run float them and only run about 3 inches deep. I will tell you what we run between 10 and 12 mph and it leaves the most level seed bed you could ask for, definitely worth the money.
If you ever come to southern Ontario there's a lot of tractors I think you would like to see. From old versatiles to Humming Bee 547s which im sure is right up your alley.
Marktoberdorf is around half an hour from where I live. Recently saw a US Spec Fendt with rowcrop duals being hauled somewhere. Pretty rare sight. Awesome video as usual.
I love how the tractor bears down after the turn and the gear is set back down. That tractor is earning it's pay pulling that apparatus up and down the field.
There is only a shitload of unnecessary tech in the newer equipment. Equipment 10 to15 yrs old would have little, if any bs tech. Granted 10/15 year old equipment could be somewhat hard to find, but not impossible. 😊😊
@@jaybee2344 Not the least bit surprised that older equipment is coming up in price. 😊 I wonder if there is a market yet for older rebuilt equipment ? I've read that a lot of farmers are pissed that they can't (essentially) work on their own new equipment any more !
That would have been good I must have missed it because of my dog. Lol lol. Yeah that would have been good to see it up close. I love how well u know all ur information on these tractors and grain carts. U must do ur home work very well. Thanks a million.
Bit of sales talk there about rpm. They run that low rpm to get their fuel consumption down and cross their fingers about engine life. Same engine used in trucks not a match for Cummins when worked hard. I guess it depends what hours you are putting on the tractor each year and how often you turn the machines over.
Are all the new Challengers repainted/rebadged Fendts these days? No complaints here as a good many things built in Germany are of good quality. Just curious.
Ass allways you make the best videos mr big tractor educational for many of us that we dont know all these details can you please make a video for an international 4300

Hello! Awesome yellow tractor from Europe!
Impressive machines. Great job Agco
Great to see a yellow tractor😉👍 sunflower makes some nice tillage tools😁👍

It sure would be. I hope to get to that area some time.
Brilliant input by the operator up in the cab.
Great video as always btp.. 👍👍
Very nice tractor, we had a demo one on the farm for a bit.

Excellent video Jason. We run a lot of Agco equipment on our farm including Sunflower tillage equipment as well!! Thanks BTP!

Great vid Jason loved those type challenger tractors they are my favorite challenger tractor
I could never go into farming 🚜, it is so much technology I would be lost.

@@dancahill9122 Acutally the 10 to 15 yr old tractors are easy to find. Now the brands made in the 70s and 80s are coming up in price.
It's not hard to operate. Just like riding a bike.

Awesome Video!! I Like Challenger!!
Good video👍at first I thought it was caterpillar because of the color. ✌👍
Caterpillar used to have there name on them
Almost as good as CASE
Would have liked a very close up of the blades. Maybe next time. Great video
Thank you for watching. At the 3:07 mark I show the blades up close working. Did you want to see the blade when it was parked?
That would have been good I must have missed it because of my dog. Lol lol. Yeah that would have been good to see it up close. I love how well u know all ur information on these tractors and grain carts. U must do ur home work very well. Thanks a million.
Very nice combo, great video as always BTP
Excellent video 👍
275 Case IH Magnum with great plains 30foot turbo till and in duck pond we use 30 foot desk with a rolling head on the back
🙋🏻♂️
Nice setup on the equipment. I wonder why we don't see more Challenger 1042 tractors? Are they just an in-between size or not that popular?🚜👍
I do not know. My local dealer seems to push the 1038s only. They do have a new 1050 on big duals sitting on the lot now.
Hey that looks like Brian Brown
Haha they’ve got similar equipment
"Perfect" as Brian would say.
I use a cultivator Kongskilde vibroflex right after the combine, then ploughing late fall with an Överum CX-H 490. Drawn with a Case IH MXU 135

The 6631 had some better features than our 6630 does. Mainly the wheels are set back further and doesn’t allow it to rock back and forth as much.
I was wondering if you could do a cost comparison between comparable makes of tractors

Yes and no. Wheeled Challenger 1000s are Fendt. Tracked Fendt MT900 and 1100s are Challengers.
How wide is that disc setup and what is its weight? Only 1 1/2” deep? Will they do other soil prep before beans?
Like 👏👏👏👍👍👌👌🇧🇷
😁👍
With buildup on grill. Will it reverse to clean off grill ?
Yes it does.
Ass allways you make the best videos mr big tractor educational for many of us that we dont know all these details can you please make a video for an international 4300
Thank you for watching. A 4300 would be awesome to feature. They are rare. If I can find one I sure will make s video on one.
👍👍
I never understood what was meant by self-sharpening blades. Obviously the blades don’t get sharper by running them through the dirt.
We use a 22 foot turbo till behind a Case International 9270
what is the advantage to auto drive cruise control auto steer does it help keep the past straight ??
Yup. And minimize overlap. Less fuel burned per day.
It's best used in planting crops. With the right set up you can come back and plant in the same row as the previous year within a sub-inch
Tiller seems ineffective Check out Kinze Speed till
✌️✌️✌️✌️
Is it more or less a fendt in yellow ,?
International Harvester 1086 with a bush hog 14 ft disc
Okay, when I was a kid... growing up next a dairy farm... I never heard of "vertical tillage"... What does that mean??
Jason talks about it at 2:03
It's a fancy word for a disk with straight blades. lol Supposedly compacts the ground less than a standard disk.
