This is one of the greatest jams ever. I saw them in San Diego in 1992 at Soma and they put on one hell of a show. The energy in that room is still with me when I think about it - like right now. LOVE!
This band put on one of the absolute best shows at Soma in SD, CA in 1991-2ish. I can still remember everything about it, how it all looked, the band, the crowd & myself free-flowing high stepping circular pattern we all just sorta formed and tossed each other around hither & thither, while still grabbing the wall standers and throwing them into the mix. I left there with the biggest grinning smile on my face that I can still feel as I write this. My other souvenirs were about 30 bruises and beer in my hair, but my motto always & still is, "If I go see a Punk Rock Show, by god, I better leave there with all sorts of cuts, bruises and the like - otherwise, it wasn't really good Punk Rock." Youth Brigade - what can I say? I wish I was able to thank them for giving me such a grand memory, so much larger than most others, it still gives me such happiness a quarter of a century later
I was thinking the same thing. It's funny, as a young skate punk when I used to listen to this song, I never really took note of the political significance of the lyrics.

Gosh, I use to love this song ! I haven’t heard it in years. Good times.
Funny how this still applies today
when "fear the walking dead" first started, they had a scene where san diego actually fell into the sea & it was really frightening.
"Cause the only patriotism that we really need is to sink with the world with humanity and me". Not more words, please
Where is my beer and the karaoke bar ?
This song is amazing, just try and prove me wrong
I love it, one day I'll cover it.
