I love the idea of a UTV EV. I looked hard at the Polaris EV but I kept seeing reports of those going through lead acid batteries every few years and the price for replacements were just too high. I see they are offering a lithium version now, but the price for that was sky high so EV's are off the menu for my application. I think the EV's will be nice and more practical for people who use these vehicles hard for work once the battery tech improves. The next generation solid state batteries are supposed be coming out any time now which should reduce cost, charge times, and handle many more charge cycles before needing replaced. Fingers crossed that happens sooner than later. I am coming to the conclusion I need an ATV more than a UTV so I would love to see an electric ATV with all day work performance and fast recharge times. Thanks for sharing. Electric motors have the torque that is for sure.

The batteries in that thing must weigh a lot to give it enough traction to pull that boat up the drive.

      9 8v batteries @ 72lbs each = 648lbs of batteries.
The buggy with the enclosure weighs 1700lbs
