72v Electric EZGO Buggy, Is a BEAST!!!!
You are right!
Just bought it for 10$ last week .Going to try it at work. Isn’t a big gamble, but could be a game changer.
wv i c lol good job
Did you plug the pulse tube/line??
Hello, Are you interested in testing our products? We would like to invite you to test the Soft Rear Window with Zipper for your CanAm Defender HD5( if your car year is 2020-2024
Did you block the pulse/ crankcase hose?
How did you bypass the governor?
There is a governor spring attached to the throttle lever on the motor. Just zip tie the spring together with 2 small zip ties. That’s it
Thank you
Did you plug off the pulse hose?
Have an EZGO 4 on my radar ..... just a beast as you have demonstrated herein. I live on a hill to the water a 140 feet run on a 20% grade and better ..... 23" Knobby tires and an 5,000 watts AC motor / drive with LI-ON battery pack. Thanks for the demo. GBjj
Beautiful. Chalino style
Thanks for sharing. I can't wait for more manufacturers to launch an electric SxS. I would like to see Lifepo batteries and a top speed of about 40mph or so.
Thanks for this video it's great
The place looks like Arkansas
Does this new battery make the machine faster or go further or both
at least from what i’ve heard from forums is that those parts savers don’t actually save the injectors and topside fuel lines. They will stop larger debris it is on its way out but on a complete failure debris can still get through. Had one installed on my cp4 that i knew was holding on, drove it around on the parts saver no problem. But i got my cp3 in my truck like 2 weeks later. And all i’ll say is it’s worth the investment and peace of mind. my truck runs a whole hell of a lot better with the cp3 in it
I subscribed when you said you bout pooped yourself
Thanks for the informative video. I have an EV IS that works great, and I have two of the heavy duty battery chargers at two locations. I don't like the on-board charger, as it is not nearly as water and mud proof as the rest of the chassis and the batteries. Is the lithium battery charging so different that my two existing charges cannot be used? Pland to convert in a year or two.
Completely different algorithm. You have to have a designated 72v Lithium Charger
I WAS WONDERING IF YOU EVER CHECKED HOW MANY AMPS YOU PULL WITH THE 48 VOLT INTIMIDATOR ?
List the cost here don't make me have to call. I won't. I will find it elsewhere
If your not interested enough to call, your not interested enough to purchase a battery. And with the attitude, your best bet is to find it elsewhere. Thanks for the comment!
@@lifewiththehamptons2191 You're wrong. Thanks for the response though!

I did
@@lifewiththehamptons2191 i have kyb shocks do you think they will work?
beauty of a truck sir! great watch!
I found your channel. Looking for golf cart parts . I have a 05 DMAX here in California
I put up a lot of golf cart and electric buggy content
Congratulations good looking truck brother
I like my gc1k. The electric utv is not for me
I have the same cart. Did you use the provided DC voltage reducer? Can you give an explanation of the wiring connections you made from your controller to lithium battery? Are able to use the existing solinoid and DC to DC converter under the hood? Very interested in doing this conversion. Thx
Same cart is simple installation. Less than an hour job.
Your buggy already has a regulator. No need to use the new one. Keep it as a backup. You don’t touch the Solenoid, stock is already 400amp from the factory. Not sure what you mean about connections from the controller? You simply take the positive wires that lead from your battery to the existing Solenoid off, then zip tie all those wires together. Then do like wise for the negative wires that come from the controller to the negative battery terminal. Remove lead acid batteries, put in Pressure Treated Wood in battery tray, then install battery, then hook up positive wires to positive battery post, then repeatedly for the negative side. That’s it!
what cells are they 21700? where you located did not find your contact information
My phone number is in the video. All my contact information is on Fleetlithium website as a dealer.
is this the same as what lowes sells if not whats the difference it seems like like tgere are a few the same? what range and capacity?
Bass Pro shop sells these buggy’s. Lowe’s carries Chinese knock offs
All these questions are answered in the video
I love my Intimidator but, it has not been as reliable as I’d like
Mine hasn’t either. Throttle started working intermittently. Then one day I turned the switch on and immediately after putting it in reverse, the throttle went to 100%, spinning backwards as I was pushing the brakes with everything I had without prevail. Luckily, I had the forethought to turn off the switch. Getting stopped only feet from a 200’ drop off down the mountain. Had my wife or kids been in it, I’m afraid it could have been fatal. I put it up for sale immediately. I changed the throttle assembly, but I couldn’t trust it.
@@lifewiththehamptons2191 wow. good to know, what do you have now?
@@lifewiththehamptons2191that’s scary. Should probably report it. Glad you’re ok.
😍 Great Job!!!
Is it possible to please share a link or two on the upgrades you got? Im looking to upgrade mines pretty much the same as yours.

Looks like a great camera! Where is your dump bed build video?
I haven’t edited it yet. I will hopefully have it out by next weekend
I have searched for Fleet batteries but not seeing them. Do you have a link to where you bought your setup? Thanks....John

I can’t thank you enough for this vid. No one has put an electric Utv through an actual legit test in adverse conditions like this! You answered so many of the questions I had about how they handle steep terrain, range etc. I’ve been plotting to build an electric Utv for a minute now (I can’t afford the commercial prices). I’ve been to your neck of the woods and it reminded me so much of our terrain in the Sapphire Mountains of Montana. We live off grid and I’m fascinated by the idea of being able to charge one of these off of our solar array. Because of your work here I’m so fired up to start this project! I now have a real world example to base the equipment needed for the range and capability I need. I liked and subbed as a form of gratitude but if you ever find yourself out our way I’d love to buy you a dozen beers! Adam
Thank you for the kind words Adam! You may want to check out some of my latest videos. I install a lithium battery into my newest EV. Full range test, steep, steep hill climbs
Great idea! I hope you use Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries. And I think mounting a solar panel to the roof with a charge controller would be great, always charging!
How’s the belt holding up now? I’ve heard going big and heavy darn near requires a clutch kit and wider and tougher belt.
Sold this SxS right after this video was made. I have had 2 fully electric side by sides I have been modifying
What was the problem with the sway bar? And what size wheel spacers did you put on the rear? I love that look. I have a 92 FlareSide I want to lower and am curious what problems I may run into
Zero issues. You are suppose to flip the sway bar, which. We do not at first. After flipping it basically backwards, the truck set down another full inch. I used Mustang staggered wheels, 8.5” in the front, and 10.5” in the rear with +44 off set. My spacers were 2”, or 50mm. That basically made the wheels have a 0 offset, or -6 to be technical
great video. i will be putting one of these in my navitas golfcart. this is the real world data i have been waiting for
I am now a dealer for FleetLithium, so let me know when you are ready to order 828-736-2472
I also want up grade my battery pack . I have a 2020 Tracker EV is and I have a question about how you hooked up your winch with the new lithium battery pack?
You have to run a separate 12v battery. Only other way to do it is, is to use an aftermarket 72v to 12v reducer, but you will not find a reducer that puts out enough amperage to run a winch. You will end up blowing fuses like crazy. A separate 12v battery is the only viable option.
@@lifewiththehamptons2191 I found a 48 to 12 reduced with 175 amp but 72 to 12 yet in 175 amps
I have one of these and I love it. But I did upgrade to lithium ion batteries. My range is now 60 mi
I have the EZGO 4x4 Express 72V. Literally Identical to this with the exception of the stickers saying EZGO and not Tracker. Comes off the same assembly line owned by the same company. Im definitely going to upgrade with this battery. What did you do or purchase to modify the speed?
I have a handheld OEM level Curtis controller programmer. They cost around $800. But…….. if you’re not familiar with programming controllers, you can very, very easily fry both your controllers. And they run around, $2500, then you have to get them programmed. Very costly if you don’t know what you’re doing. I do programming if you’re interested. Ship me your controllers, and I will program them. I charge $400+shipping.
Oh my bad. . . . I surely thought it was a golf cart from the looks of it, lol! I was wondering about the 4WD part🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️! Sorry bout that, lol🤣
My wife doesn't like your videos on this. She's seen the writing on the wall for our Tracker EV. 😅
She would love it. Lol. 35mph is way better than 25mph.
Looking to upgrade my 72v Prowler EV IS. Are you still happy with Fleet battery? Expensive but wondering if you had any thoughts?
I think they are the best battery on the market. Their BMS allows for massive output without any issues. Everyone else has had tons of issues when installed on high output machines like ours. They draw twice as much power as a golf cart does. These batteries were designed for high output buggies
@@lifewiththehamptons2191 Fleet it is then! I really appreciate your videos and reply. Very helpful! I’ll send an update on my conversion!! Cheers
A 4-wheel drive golf cart???😱😱😱
Technically, It’s not a golf cart. Lol. It’s about 12” wider than a golf cart, and 2’ longer than a standard cart. It’s 1710 lbs which is 700-800 lbs heavier than a golf cart. But, it does resemble one.
As someone who owns the same thing (Tracker version), it is much more than a golf cart.
@@bonesetranch most people don’t realize there not a golf cart. But you’re exactly right. They are about 20-30 percent bigger than a golf cart. Wider, and longer. They are built like a UTV. The Front suspension is A-arms and struts, that bolts up to the frame, just like a UTV, or atv. Golf carts entire front ends, including all the steering, and suspension components are BOLTED to the body of the golf cart.
BEANS!!!
I’d love to see that procedure w/o pulling the cams out of the plate to replace that inside shoe, I’ve replaced ALOT of these, but never without using the proper tools and a press .
Very impressive machine.
I have the same setup, 72v Textron, and need to replace batteries. Thanks for the video! Which battery cables did you remove/replace to hook up the Lithium. Also, can the controller boards handle the 76v?
I will upload a new video tomorrow, “Range Testing”. 17 minute video which is more informative, and will have the contact information on where to pickup this FleetLithium battery kit. Fill free to watch all my videos on this 72v buggy. Tons of upgrades. Welded rear differential for positive traction. I am doing tons to this buggy, and I will post everything I do. I just picked up a new dump bed that I’m going to install on it, as soon as I get the rear seat taken off. Feel free to subscribe if you haven’t already. Thanks for watching!
The controllers can handle up to 96v. They are programmed to the motors specifications, and other electrical components as to not over voltage anything.
