How To Fix Device Unauthorized With Android ADB On CMD Fix

- Hey this tutorial is going to show you how to fix the Device unauthorized when using the adb command "adb devices" on command prompt. I came up with three methods that you can use to fix this error.
1. Disconnect your device from your computer
- Under developer settings revoke all adb authorization and disable usb debugging and then disable developer options
- Now enable developer mode and usb debugging and then plug in your device and if you get a pop up asking you to allow than allow it and now it should work. If it still doesn't work follow the next method.
2. Disconnect your device from your computer
- Disable usb debugging and then disable developer options
- Now type in the command prompt "adb kill-server" and then press enter, Now type in the command prompt "adb start-server" and then press enter
- Enable usb debugging and then enable developer options and then connect your device to your computer
- If you get a pop up then did allow and then it should work. If you still don't receive the allow pop up and move on to the final method.
3. Disconnect your device from your computer
- Disable usb debugging and then disable developer options
- Type in the command prompt "adb kill-server" and then press enter
- Open Windows Explorer and then go to This PC - Your hard drive - Users folder - Open the user profile that you are log into
- Open the ".android" folder and delete the two files in the folder
- Now go back to command prompt and type "adb start-server" and then press enter
- Enable developer options and Usb debugging, Now connect your device and you should finally see the pop up to allow your computer to connect to your phone and now try the command "adb devices" and now it should work.

I am not understanding where you are coming from. This video is to help people that can’t get adb to work because the computer’s Command Prompt doesn’t pick up the device as a adb device which will not allow you to do adb commands which is require to install custom recovery and do other things. What point of the video was the death loop? Are you saying that your device is deathlooping?
Does this work on fire stick?
Yes this does work with the FireStick. If you can't get your device authorized you can do this to get the firestick authorized

same bro, i have this issue on "samsung s8", i dont know why, but in my case, the phone doesnt have any pop up to approve the adb, i have other phone like xiaomi, its just work fine.

Bro please help me I want the photos and videos out of my phone
I have oneplus 7 and now it keeps restarting and only opens recovery mood
I restore the system settings and still the problem persists
now I tried the ADB method but it's unauthorized and it only opens the recovery mood I can't open debugging options from recovery mood and if I opened the phone it's stuck
So is it possible to get my files out of phone even if it's only in recovery mood and unauthorized in ADB and also can't open debugging ?

Hey sorry it took awhile to reply i was researching a solution that will have the highest successful rate, since usb debugging is not enable you can't install custom recovery or temperately boot into it since you can't not flash any paritions. If you mean by resetting but not doing a factory reset than you can use a program called "dr.fone android recovery" to attempt to recover the files. It's not free and cost $40 usd for the software. If the files are not that important to you than i recommend to use the software but if you really need the files and can't lose at no cost than is best to send your device to a data recovery company. It's a more expense option but you will are almost be certain that you get the files since they have the best software and equipment to recover the files in cases of corrupted softare/memory which would be your case or if you deleted or factory reset your device by mistake. Most likely you already tried but you can check google photos to see if you pictures or videos were backup. Sorry to not give you better news or a really good free option
