I am happy to share how fun it is to make the best crispy lechon pork belly here at Jenny’s Kitchen.
This homemade crispy lechon is baked for hours until succulently tender and roasted until crispy skin is achieved. It really turned out the way it should be - tender, crispy, delicious and full of flavor.
This always bring joy and a very merry holiday, birthday, anniversary and any celebration especially to the Pinoys. Made flavorful with simple herbs and spices like lemongrass, green onions, garlic, rosemary, and chili.

Ako naaliw hahaha!! Masyadong matinis ang boses nya😜 sana i-modulate nya para masarap pakinggan. Altho ok ang recipe nya yung boses lang ang nag nega para sa akin...
Iba talaga pag fresh ang meat. Mas masarap tong version mo kasi may maraming garlic tapos may Rosemary. Tapos naa diay meat sa sulod double purpose diay sad. Tama jud ka-Pede na mag lechon belly in your own kitchen. Thanks for sharing you recipe. 💖
Hi. This post was 2 years ago. My question now is: have you tried baking lechon without the aromatics/steam? Was it same result? The reason I'm asking is because I do not think the steam will get through the aluminum foil. I could be wrong so I like to your opinion based on your experience. I will be cooking lechon following your style (with the foil) but I'm not too sure about the steam - looks useless to me.. What do you think? I will appreciate getting a response from you and other people since I will be cooking lechon Christmas day. Thank u so much!

There was no mention of using salt to the meat, but your garlic powder looks like salt, pl enlighten me, salamat

Down lang po gamit ko. And naglalagay ako ng oven thermometer inside the oven to monitor the internal temp too

Will the oven temp of 350 F actual crisp up the skin? How long doe it take to crisp it at that temp?
Hi Ms. Queen. Yes po. It took me almost 4 hours to make the belly crispy. Almost 2 hrs with covered foil and steam and 2 hrs roasting.
