Also I was in the import car scene when this movie came out and was in a car club in Chicago and 20 of us went together to see this movie opening weekend. The movie theater parking lot was like a car show that entire weekend.

This was the best movie of the franchise! I was in high school when this came out. It brought to the forefront an import car subculture that made everyone want to customize their first car.
If you wanna see where Dom ends up after this, you should check out the short called "Los Bandoleros". It's a little-known short film in the universe of FnF that gives some context for the next time we meet Dom. You don't HAVE to watch it to get things in later movies, but it's an interesting fill-in. Also, whenever you guys get around to 2F2F, I would highly recommend watching the Prelude that comes with it. It again gives some additional context, but for how Brian gets to where he is at the beginning of the second film.
The way they reacted when Dom hit the truck is probably how everyone in the theater reacted when they saw this movie for the first time, the timing of it is insane, just think after seeing them JUST miss being hit by the train everyone sighed with a relief, and then they see he’s about to hit the truck and they go crazy🤷♂️🤷♂️😳😳
"2 Fast 2 Furious" and "Tokyo Drift" are tied for my favorite in the series. Tokyo Drift is an "acquired taste" (it’s the most hated in the series lol), it’s VERY different from the first 2, but as someone who has always been into Japanese car culture I love the movie😂

I hope watching some of the older movies will help everyone realize how different movies are today. The practical effects and stunts, relationships built between characters and the intensity it adds to a scene as simple as the last boost scene in this film. It was different.
This is such a fun franchise. I remember the day Paul Walker died, my wife and I were in Walmart, and I saw the news on my phone, and within the next few minutes I watched as other people took out there phones and saw the news too, such a sad day!
This movie is so nostalgic, my friends and I went to this opening night and we all left the theater racing out of the parking lot along with everyone else who went and saw it.
Vin Diesel acting chops from Dominic to Groot, lol but on a serious note he really does shine in this franchise which makes sense it's like his baby. I got introduced to him from the Riddick franchise movies and games.
I remember being 9 years old in 2002 and my older uncle took us to Walmart to buy this movie on DVD when it came out , then we headed back to my grandmas house to watch it for the first time. After that I fell in love with cars , the gift and the curse🥲😮💨🙏🏽🏁
Just FYI, this movie is specifically called "The Fast and The Furious", while just "Fast and Furious" is a different movie later in the series 😇 Hope you 2 enjoy the ride, pun intended! 🚗💨😂
Welcome to the family guys. Now that you've watched the first you gotta watch the entire series lol. Looking forward to seeing your 2F2F Reaction R.I.P Paul Walker

It hated because it focuses on a completely different main character.
Tokyo drift is my fave, it's just about racing without a bunch of other bs
the first car in the begining the honda civics man tht like drove me as a kid dude then paul walker and his car man like i got so much to say about this movie every single one means so much to me especially to my family bro like we grew up with these movies frfr and being a car guy is honestly so amazing
J. Cole took me out😂😂 25:57
23:17 "dont ask me about my business again...." ✋🏾👊🏾👊🏾 she woulda never asked again.
I hope watching some of the older movies will help everyone realize how different movies are today. The practical effects and stunts, relationships built between characters and the intensity it adds to a scene as simple as the last boost scene in this film. It was different.
This is and epic franchise the ride is still going on
Oh boy hang on this franchise spans 11 movies so far. Welcome to the family.

This is such a fun franchise. I remember the day Paul Walker died, my wife and I were in Walmart, and I saw the news on my phone, and within the next few minutes I watched as other people took out there phones and saw the news too, such a sad day!
You've seen Vin Diesel in other things... He plays Groot lol
This movie is so nostalgic, my friends and I went to this opening night and we all left the theater racing out of the parking lot along with everyone else who went and saw it.
26:10 J Cole 😂😂😂
Vin Diesel acting chops from Dominic to Groot, lol but on a serious note he really does shine in this franchise which makes sense it's like his baby. I got introduced to him from the Riddick franchise movies and games.
26:11 ain’t no way she said J Cole 🤣🤣
😂😂 i died when she sakd that
25:55 i've been binge watching your reactions, first it was mr chow as jackie chan and now it's this random guy as jcole LMAOO
YES ANOTHER VIDEO
This movie is the reason I fell in love with cars, racing in the first place and always wanted as my dream car to get tht Skyline R.I.P Paul Walker
Yes Finally ❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
I remember being 9 years old in 2002 and my older uncle took us to Walmart to buy this movie on DVD when it came out , then we headed back to my grandmas house to watch it for the first time.
After that I fell in love with cars , the gift and the curse🥲😮💨🙏🏽🏁
Just FYI, this movie is specifically called "The Fast and The Furious", while just "Fast and Furious" is a different movie later in the series 😇
Hope you 2 enjoy the ride, pun intended! 🚗💨😂
Welcome to the family guys. Now that you've watched the first you gotta watch the entire series lol. The only member of Dom's crew that we never found out what happened to was Leon(the one you couldn't remember his name). Also it's funny that you guys remember seeing Vin Diesel for the first time in Saving Private Ryan because that was his first movie role.
Looking forward to seeing your 2F2F Reaction
R.I.P Paul Walker
Dom Tyranno goes hard
😂
The scene with the final truck, that was filmed on a road near the city of Hemet, CA. My hometown lol.
The Fast and Furious series is definitely such a comfort series for me, sounds a little crazy but I one just rewatching the movies, the first couple ones are amazing idk, personal favourites are the 2nd one bc Devon Aoki is in it and Tokyo Drift cuz the switch up of scenery is so fun honestly
5:58 it’s basically nitrous oxide (laughing gas) that doctors use. Some NOS has other things in it like sulfur. 9:55 it’s actually closer than that in the 100 meter. I do timing for meets and we sometimes have to go down to the milliseconds between 1st and 2nd. The last meet I did the top three runners were extremely close at the line. 1st was 12.001, 2nd was 12.013 and 3rd was 12.035. 37:01 hopefully you guys are able to watch “Turbo Charged Prelude to 2 Fast 2 Furious”. It sets up the next movie.
HYPE
The first racing scene is on prairie Ave in Hawthorne California I use to live on that street it was in front of Hawthorne airport I remember hearing all the engines it was filmed in 2001
Come on... you guys have seen this before there's no way lmao
New sub !! Can’t wait for the rest of the fast reactions!! 1st 5th are my top faves but all of them are good they all got a special place in my heart! I love F&F 💯💯💯💯💯
