I'm so glad I stumbled on this! You can see he's got Jesus in his heart from his eyes to his mannerisms. It's part of what makes him so special. His talent without question is a gift from God! He seems so strong and sure of himself, it's easy to forget how many negatives he's navigating on this journey. But it sounds like the people who know him best and love him most have really got his back and are strongly present to help keep him grounded. Can't wait to see where he goes from here!

God first, then everything else because I'm sure you already know that the path is narrow and the gate is straight to enter heaven, and the only way to the Father is through the Son. As long as you can stay on that path because you only spend a short time on this world, but where do you want to spend eternity. It's very hard to live in the world today and not be of the world. May God bless the path for you. I have a feeling that you are going to go far with your music and temptation will be everywhere. Pray often, repent daily, I'm not famous but I still have to do this because it is hard when you live in the world today and enjoy your life, I'm sure American Idol doesn't want to advertise Christian talent, because it is of the World.

Cade, I was a backslidden christian when I was the lead singer in a couple of rock bands. Nothing famous, but I lost my soul for awhile. I came back to the Lord a few years later. It took me a little while to recover from all of the stupid things that I gave myself over to. I pray that you keep right with Jesus.
