Why would a game about a city wide outbreak almost completely skip the start of the city wide outbreak?

If you follow the timeline of the games, by the time the RPD made their final stand and UBSC got wiped out (shown in this intro), it was already too late and the outbreak was already out of control. The remake intro makes sense because Chief Irons and the Mayor were on it with Umbrella, a lot of things got suppressed. By the time the people was aware of the "cannibal disease" (wich was considered to just make people extremely violent) a lot of incidents and riots were already happening due to the mass hysteria and no one knew exactly was happening. And is very well complemented with the initial gameplay were the mood of chaos, urgency and hopelessness is set. You not liking it is very different from it being bad. Just admit you are blinded by nostalgia and move on.

Basically both remakes 2 and 3 have at least 80% content missing from the originals and the remaining butchered to the point you change the character names and it can be a different game altogether and whatever little more like microscopic they added calling it a bonus doesn't justify jackshit. On top of that not enough that they fucked the game up there been paywalls on things that should be in the base game too. Whoever believed these will be proper games is a naive idiot and whoever bought it and supports this, well I dont have sympathy nor any actual words for them, they are dead to me. Typical desperate moneygrab that crapcom is known for.
This is great. The only issues I had were the detective logo on the cars, and the Desert Eagle sidearms. Though... If you want an unyieldly weapon that's recoil will stop you having headshots. Bahaha
