As someone who has owned this phone for the last two years, as my daily driver, I can say it is much tougher than Jerry gives it credit for.
I've used it without a case, and despite having dropped it on concrete and other hard surfaces from ear height, it still hasn't got much more than a few scuff marks. Despite using the pop-up camera as a fidgeting device by repeatedly pulling it out and pushing it back in, against the motor, it still functions perfectly. Also dust getting into the cracks hasn't caused any issues either. It's gotten wet and been to the beach with sand.
Aside from a few scratches from daily wear and tear, it is practically good as new. Even the battery still keeps very close to its original performance, managing a full day with no problem. I'm really happy with how this phone has held up over the past two years. It's definitely a lot tougher than you might think. On the software side, it still gets regular updates from Oppo and is still as fast and snappy as it was on day one. I would happily use this phone for another two years, and it has given me no reason to think it can't handle another two years of abuse by a less than careful phone owner. My hat off to Oppo for a well engineered and durable device.
I think the Opps find X's spot on the shelf of shame is not deserved. Plus, bending a phone like that is not realistic in terms of daily use. I mean, you'd have to try pretty hard to put that much force on it by accident. I've sat on it plenty of times.

According to gsmarena, the price for this device is 770 euros. After seeing this video, I realized that I wouldn't spend not even 150 euros for a fragile phone like this. Compared to it, my LG G6 is like a Nokia 3310 in the 2000s. Jerry's test confirmed that.

A bend test is an extreme but these expensive ass phones should be able to handle extremes. Its screen scratching at 7, and that being considered the norm for smart phones, is complete bullshit. Manufacturers should be doing much better.

Oppo, OnePlus and Vivo are basically the same company, so I don't see the point.

All three were thought up and started by people who all worked for this company called BBK electronics. Vivo went out on it's own at an early age. Therefore it is pretty much completely independent. Oppo and oneplus however. Are basically the same. Their frames are all made by the same company. Their screens all come from the same company. A LOT of their internals come from the same company with only a few parts being different. The biggest one being the lifting mechanism. You are only partially right. Technically speaking. They are separate. Oppo is their biggest investor. But not with money. With parts. Therefore they are basically one in the same. How about YOU do some research asshole.
I love how you admit that I'm correct, and then call me an asshole - lol - about all you can say, these days, that these companies have in common, is that they were rooted in the same company, 15 FRIGGIN years ago! - and so what if they share suppliers? - Apple uses Samsung processors, and many companies use the same LG screens or Hynix RAM or whatever, that doesn't make them "basically one in the same" - Using your logic, Apple and Samsung are "basically one in the same", dickhead.
