Gilmore Girls was created by Amy Sherman-Palladino and starring Lauren Graham (Lorelai Gilmore) and Alexis Bledel (Rory Gilmore). The show debuted on October 5, 2000 and ran for seven seasons!

I was 16 when I watched this show for the first time & I had a huge crush on Jess, now in my 30s I rewatched the whole series drooling for Luke, I mean , whats not to love about the guy? Hot, supportive, accountable & his rants are super funny! 😂😂❤️🔥❤️🔥
Luke was always my ideal man. Just the right mix of curmudgeonly, mature, fiery/passionate, handy, involved, and warm. Slightly enigmatic.
And He can cook you great meals.
Like in the one episode where He shows His cooking skills enclose even so much more, than what he serves in the diner.
I love him and lorelai's witticisms and how he seems to be the only one that can keep up with her

That whole episode was gold! His rant to Sookie was great as well. "I don't care what bed you're in. That is between you and your husband, and god I hope a qualified therapist"

I understand his ranting about the parents with kids. If a large group walked into my diner, took up all my tables all morning and ordered very little, they're practically stealing money from him that he could be making if those tables had customers staying for a normal amount of time.

Which episode is the sacred counter in??? I cannot find it, and I love it so much!!! Especially when Lorili gets behind the counter, and we see that he really likes her because only she is allowed back there with him. That made me smile so much when it was a moment of their story really beginning.

@joli7948No originally there was no planned relationship with Lorelai. In fact the diner owner was only supposed to be an occasionally recurring character. It was after they saw the on screen chemistry between Scott and Lauren that the possibility of Luke and Lorelai became a thing and Luke became a major character.
I’m sorry this man goes down a rant on how astrology is fake, but this is the same man who has a horoscope in his wallet for eight years, because a pretty girl gave it to him
There's a key phrase in that comment and it's not 'astrology' or 'horoscope'
It's also not because a pretty girl gave it to him, it's because Lorelai gave it to him. I don't think Luke would have saved it if jusy any pretty girl gave it to him but he was really taken with Lorelai from the beginning so it was specifically because it was her.
Couldn't stand Luke from the pilot, found him to be boring anð annoying.😊😊

I'll be honest and admit I wasn't a big fan of Luke in the very beginning. I also didn't like the idea of him and Lorelai together. As the show progressed however I greatly changed my opinion about both.
