How incredibly useful! These retopo videos are the best ones on the topic I have seen so far! If you combine all of them into one video is like a masterclass under 10 min, simply amazing! Thanks as always!

Watch the first video about retopo, where this is explained: ruclips.net/video/OY7FlJ8xTz0/видео.html That said, yes after retopo I do use a Shrinkwrap modifier which I apply immediately, to fix any mistakes.
@@link-kun5974 Sculpting shouldn't affect your model's topology if you're careful, I've found retopologizing very useful when importing an STL file (meant for 3d printing) or a video game asset.
Question, what is retopology? Is it a must do? What does it do? How much time doing retopology? I can sculpt character, but it seems i used subdivide too much, so will retopology fixed that thing? How long doing retopology?
Are you missing the shrinkwrap modifier? I'm getting mixed results without it. Sometimes the new faces hug the surface and sometimes they are very far from the surface. Thank You
@@BlenderSecrets Thanks. That sounds reasonable as retopo a pants don't seem to get the edges of the model. So adding the shrinkwrap, I can move the retopo up to the edges and not go over.
Plz tell me how to use instance of object in particle system because in my scene i modeled a forest with many bushes and trees lags a lot taking too much of memory cant able to render the scene plz tell how to use instance collection in particle system
@@BlenderSecrets yep thats it but i i appleid didplacement to the leaves for moving leaf effect but if i join the leaves to the trunk the displacement is also applied to the truck is there any way to apply displacement to the leaf only but also in a single object form
I really dont like how blender displays xray and my retopo mesh in front. I get confused ,I can't see the underlying shapes well. Retopoflow does it bit better, but retopoflow is always annoying if your scale isn't the way it wants you to be
@@BlenderSecrets I'll try it. I really like the way topogun balances the visibility of the source and topo meshes. I haven't bought it yet just because I think retopoflow is a strong competition! Have you tried retopoflow ?
I really find this guy's voice calming.
Blender Secrets: 2 triangles can become a quad...

Thanks so much for the high praise!
I love how efficient it is to learn from these short tutorials

Make it look so simple and effortless
can't even miss his video
I didn't know about joint triangle faces with F. Thanks!
YOU'RE SIMPLY THE BEST!!! :) THANKS!
Best tutorials on the platform
Savanna xyz is better
did you use shrink wrap modifier in this video? or is there an option to slap the faces onto the original mesh?

@@BlenderSecrets What usually comes before retopo process? Is retopo use for sculpted model only? I'm a total beginner

thank you!

yep, retopo will fix it but i myself have no experience on that yet

I don't use it that much for retopo, to be honest! Maybe at the end, add it and then apply it immediately (set to Project inside/outside).

How the edges take that curve si clean?
Ahh thank you
How do you turn a 5/odd vertices Ngon into a quad?
Hey i don't understand how u have an edge that doesn't go in a straight line but is curved, how u fo this?
Wait, how were they extruded, looped, and snapped on the face?
How to soft edge and hard edge like maya pls
how to pin selected vertices to a surface with each vertex origin instead of 1 origin?
ruclips.net/video/OY7FlJ8xTz0/видео.html ahh i shouldve watch this first, thanks :3
Or use any other method.

What is the meaning of those colors when retopolgy ?
Those are just random colors, so it looks a bit less boring than everything grey :)
@@BlenderSecrets oh thanks, i thought it has function for each color
Why are the edges bending/curvy in the end of the video. It's like you're editing subd-edges 🤔
Retopology is the nightmare of 3D modeling
And I hate when sometimes you try to dissolve some edge but it remains there no matter what. 😅
Haha, I know what you mean!

Yeah it's not always ideal. I hide things, and use clipping border (Alt+B), set the retopo to In Front, and use Hidden Wire for the visibility.

well i fell stupid now and il probaly will when ever i retipolijise cos i now know this video
İ like 3d modeling
The question is "why". WHY!?

I didn't realise blender users knew what topology was
Where s the retopo workflow? lol
I really don't understand why people are still manually doing this...
Do you have any other methods to share?
RUclips shorts is suck. Make a full size video
I wish I could save these because these tips alone would've taken me like 30 minutes to find otherwise 🥲
