My husband and I have reached a point in our lives that our child is grown and moving on in his own life. We both want to move to off grid lives. We are approaching our 50s and have been researching like crazy on how to make the jump. We both want to do this so we can enjoy the rest of our lives without the fear of being unable to afford to live due to bills. We definitely want to build a future with our own two hands. We moved out of South Florida recently and are currently staying in a campground in Tennessee. We are looking for the perfect property to build our dream off grid life. You are an inspiration to me for sure.
Love your spirt, resourcefulness and work ethic. As a senior disabled person the only way my husband and I can get out and enjoy the great outdoors is in our RV and yes we have a generator. RV campgrounds with electric and water hookups are designed for people like us, who want to get outside and enjoy nature but for whatever reason can't do it off grid the way you do. Some choices are made out of necessity, if we could go off grid we would love it but camping in our RV sure beats sitting at home all the time.
The only problem is that they put RVs in tent campgrounds. Why do they need to run their generators all night long or show up at 1am and wake everyone up? It's RUDE. If someone has to do that and ruin it for everyone else, they should just stay home. That is not camping anyway. Rent a cabin. I'm disabled too and love tent camping. I have an air mattress, that's all I need.
@@Lunarstruck1 Well, we have no intention of "just staying home". We enjoy the outdoor world too, we are always respectful to others and most sites we stay at are mixed camping sites, some tent only, some electric, some full hookup. Guess they are designed that way to give everyone an opportunity to enjoy the camping experience. We do not run our generator all night, never have. I don't think there really has to be a conflict over this, we all just need to respect each other and remember we don't know everything about other people and what they are dealing with or what their limitations are. Good luck to you, have fun!!!!
@@TheTagpedsrn You are obviously one of the ones I wouldn't mind camping next to but unfortunately most are not. I wish they would separate the spots. We camp in Big Sur every year and stupidly love the site with the wild foxes in the hollow tree right on the start of the hiking trail, so everyone would go right thru our stuff to the trail instead of just walking next to our site. Weird but still fun bc they don't do it at night too often. Lol
I agree. I'm disabled and 68 years old. I'd love to be able to have an RV to at least get out sometime and explore like I used to all the time with my sweet dog that I lost almost 3 years ago.
I admire you, your obvious a woman of faith, a believer who’s , living your dream, and that’s something a lot of us don’t achieve, nothing but the best for you and your family, I’m really enjoying watching your videos
My husband and I were married for 44 years before he passed away 11years ago with a heart attack. We only dated for 50 days and eloped on our 50th date. We worked together, welcomed 4 babies into this world. 2 boys and 2 girls. We cried together, we were best friends, partners for life under death do us part. I am just waiting to join him in Heaven. Never kept a secret from him. Congratulations on your marriage lasting for over 20 years. Blessed Be and God Speed you and husband into a Blessed future. Love you.

I am so sorry to read about your husband. God bless you and the children he left behind. I say ride on! What better way to keep your mind off things than to do what you do? Jeep it up! 👏
Camping hint ...save an old pill prescription bottle. Buy cotton balls and Vaseline. Put Vaseline on cotton balls and put in the prescription bottle. Now you have water proof fire starter. Put a couple vaselined cotton balls in your kindling, light the cotton balls and you have a fire in damp or rainy weather.
LOL - watched this after viewing the new cabin Brooke built all by herself. I'm still amazed at how she did this tent by herself. You are super woman, Brooke! :)
From a man, I tell you what... You have an amazing way about you. You have a great spirit. I love the way you think things through 😉. You make me smile, your an inspiration to all. I think RUclips should given an award for courage. Good luck to you, and I think your husband will be very proud of you...
Probably the best videos I’ve ever seen on RUclips. I’m extremely impressed.. The prayers before your meal tell me the kind of people you really are. I’ve never seen such hard workers.
You are an inspiration to women this is what young women should aspire to determination and being able to look after themselves I clicked on to your channel by mistake but now I can’t stop watching Your videos seem to bring a calmness to my life thank you 🙏🏽 especially in times like these Please keep safe everyone 🌹
I agree. She’s such an inspiration to young girls (and us older ladies). Just love this channel, Im new here too. I love the wonderful relationship between this beautiful couple. My husband and I are binge watching. 👏
Excuse me, but nothing stops her from being an inspiration to men young and old. I don't see why people feel the need to delineate between men and women in cases like this.
I feel for you Pamela, I have a lot to learn before I can make my transition to woodsman. All I can say is baby steps, just make baby steps and soon enough you will be over nighting and then weekends before you know it you will think you have always lived off grid.
@@pamelawiggins9131 Something else that may help you move forward. We are encouraged to live quietly, to work with our hands and not be dependent on others. (I think GITW's will understand this comment) This is a perfect description of living off grid. I don't know if you are single or married but don't think about doing this alone. Most people could not handle living that way. Not because they would be lonely. The challenge comes in the shear magnitude of work and kinds of things you have to do in order to life off grid. Thats why I think having a helpmate or a small group of like minded people all working together would be the best way for the average person to live like. Especially a born and raised cityfied city dweller. Walking through central park in NYC does not count as off gridding. I agree with GITW's you ARE stronger than you think you are. I can give you your first goal date. Set some goals and a schedule and accomplish some stuff (you decide what) by Jan 21 2021. That is going to be a horrific day if things go south for America. If you are not partial to owning and using guns then get yourself a bow with a lot of extra arrows. Try using a sling shot certainly get and practice using snares for catching your next meal. Learn to fish and set up a tackle box with needed supplies and equipment. I suggest looking up a fishing tool called a yo-yo and a US military speed hook. here is a link to see what I am talking about. ruclips.net/video/jEc1OhgybnM/видео.html So easy a civilian can use one (the caveman already knew how to use it LOL) A thousand things are racing through my mind but I will stop here. I am sure GITW's can answer a lot of your questions. I just learned about her channel (and her husbands, Bushradical). They are packed with a lot of really good info. Keep watching them and watch over and over to pick up what you miss before. Watching how someone does something is a good way to learn how others solve the same challenges you are going through.
@@sambrandt3688 Are you completely insane ? ( Re: January 21, 2021-- " That is going to be a a horrific day if things go south for America . ) Joe Biden is a conservative Democrat . He will institute few , if any , of the ideas being pushed by progressives . Is he going to institute a $15 per hour minimum wage ? Not likely . Even if he did , who exactly would that hurt ? Is he going to make post secondary education publicly funded , similar to Grades 1-12 ? Not likely . However , why shouldn`t post secondary education be publicly funded ? We live in a knowledge based world . For a country to succeed , its workforce needs to educated and flexible . Many countries provide free , or heavily subsidized , post secondary education . Is Biden going to make public heath care available to everybody ? No , he won`t . However , should he ? Right now , about 30 countries in the world have longer life expectancies than the USA . Currently , the life expectancy of Americans is 78 years . In Canada , where they have some elements of Medicare for All , life expectancy is 82 years . So again , I ask you , what do you think will happen after January 21 , 2021 ?
A lot of people just don't understand what "peace and quiet" is. You know when your in a good spot when you can hear your heart beat. Great video Brooke. Take care.
Brooke, This series of videos and the small cabin build videos that you and Dave posted have had a massive impact. Brings back memories of the year I lived in a tent at the beach. Now at 60, i am considering doing it again. I think the simplicity of it has always resonated with me. I camp often as it is and make videos about it from time to time. I often say I love what I do, and do what I love, so why not full time. Thanks for what you guys do!!
in the early 60s dad was in the guards so he and a guard friend borrowed 2 large (waxed?) canvas tents and we (10 ppl in 2 tents) camped for a week out of powerboats on Boise blanc island beach in the straits of mackinac - one night it rained and we stayed dry not touching the walls
This was how I wanted to camp when I was younger, in fact I still would like to do it. I'm 74 and a widow. So it would be difficult to do alone. But I love dreaming about it. A week sleeping in a tent in the woods and cooking on an open fire....sounds so wonderful. To clarify: I should have said, this is how we camped WHEN I was younger. I can no longer do it. Has nothing to do with my age.
@@raquelsepulveda1089 It is good to remember it is not merely the age that is a factor for many people. Age.. physical and financial limitations just to start a long list of things that would prevent someone from doing things they might deeply want to do. Everyone's situation is different .. and it is not advisable to make judgements about other people .. It seems your comment was meant to be supportive and encouraging so I am not faulting you for that effort .. Just interjecting another perspective .. Have a lovely day.. : )
It will be easier to do it at 74 than it will at 84. Unless you're physically incapacitated and no one to help, then no excuses. You only live once. Good luck.

Sweetheart, sounds to me like you're at your happiest when you're working your ass off!Sometimes it's not about arriving at the destination. It's about the JOURNEY!
You are a workhorse!! I am the same way, when I put my mind to something I will not stop till its finished the way I want it. I'm glad you are good with the hubby. You're so lucky! My hubby after 30years decided to find an older woman to spend time with. I know, the biggest humiliation ever. I found someone to do the cross country trip I've wanted since I was 17 and were doing it next summer. I love the solitude you enjoy away from people and city/town life. The noises of the forest and not the traffic driving by. Enjoy!!!
My favorite memories of being a child is of camping in a small tent and camping with all my cousins and dad cooking eggs and hash browns for breakfast. I miss those times.
The tent is beautiful! I love that you and Dave work so hard to be partners in your marriage. Congratulations on your anniversary. I hope you film Dave's reaction. His mind is going to be totally blown!!!!
Been watching you both for awhile. Congratulations on 21 years! To see potential in situations is a rare commodity these days. Your skills and ability amaze me!
Love your channel, but as a retired USAF Medic who has helped maintain 80 acres of Montana family cabin property for decades PLEASE start your chainsaw on flat ground with your boot placed on the handle instead of doing an "air start". Also buy a helmet with integral ear muffs and an all important face screen. Small branches can cause "kick back" and a felled tree can cause a broken branch to get launched towards your face. I purchased chain for my Stihl saws by the roll, sometimes using the more aggressive "chipper" chain instead of the "green link" anti-kickback chain. Inspite of hundreds of hours of maintaining the family forrest, I would no longer fell trees without wearing Kevlar insert chaps and steel toes boots, and would prefer to having someone else nearby. A few slips while using saws on snow-covered ground myself, and sewing up several chainsaw "accident" patients as a Medic, and later as a surgical nurse has convinced me that preparing for the enviable incident is very important to myself, and my loved ones. As a fellow Christian, I appreciate seeing you pray, and demonstrating your appreciation for the property and lifestyle that you and your husband have been blessed with. I hope that you will consider my suggestions, which I assure you have absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with your gender. Your intellect, past experience, attitude, and "horse sense" are readily apparent to your community and myself. Just want you to be safe, so you can continue to enjoy the great adventure, that is your life. 🙏❤
Girl, you make me want to go aout there to my Fort Myers cabin a fix everything. You are such healthy inspiration for the female population of this world.
Fort Myers Florida??? Lol what would you build a hammock and a wooden boat. Best thing in my opinion move out of Florida asap. I lived there for 10 years and so missed my chance of season. I was born up north.
@@judithwendt6226 lolz. Move out of Florida? This lady got to be kidding. I have my acres, my cabin, 8 mile to the coast. OMG lolz for real. You can stay right where you are.
I can see the way you and Dave are so connected even when you're far apart. I can tell you adore him and I'm sure he feels the same about you. I'm giving some serious consideration to a wall tent right now. You've been an inspiration.
You and Dave are an inspiration!! Love to see people doing life together just the way God intended!! Thanks for all the work it takes to bring it to us!!
I agree, best part of camping is cooking over the fire with a black, cast iron skillet, sleeping in the tent which allows me to stand. Miss it but I greatly enjoy you and Dave's witness. Stay safe with each other .
You are wonderful, Brook. I know you love what matters and I believe you love the Lord. Thank you for sharing a small part of your life with us. Dave is going to be proud when he visits the land. You rock, lady! Thank you! David - Atlanta, GA
I’m with you on the generator thing- we go to the beach in JANUARY so we can have peace and quiet. Nobody’s radios - just the sound of the waves and birds. We live surrounded by woods and we love it. I don’t understand the need for tv and all that other crap when outside, how do you hear the owls and coyotes?
Brooke, your amazing! I watched several of your videos some time ago. Then I found your husband's channel and watched the video when he built the outhouse. I just loved that. We have talked about doing that on our property. When I saw you in another video with him building the beautiful cabin I put y'all together. Now I'm alternating channels. It's so relaxing and a break from this crazy world we live in today. I honestly told my brother and sister just this morning that I need to stop watching so much news and staying in it.. We do youversion plans together and the one we started today was about staying focused on Him and not in this world. I do love watching channels like yours so today I've watched a few. My husband and I used to stay in the woods camping, boating, and hiking . He taught me so much. We never got to build our dream cabin but we did a lot of wonderful things together. I have Lupus and RA. I live with our daughter on an old homestead and we love it. I don't think we'll ever be off grid but we'd love to be. Who knows with all that's going on we may all be off grid short term. We are planning for that so we can still exist and be comfortable. I have a friend with Raynaud's Disease and she suffers from it too. I'm glad that you can remain active. Take care of you. Hugs from Alabama.
Heart Of Dixie Prep.... My heart goes out to you and I understand what you are going through. I have Mixed Connective Tissue Disease, so Scleroderma, Sjodgrens, Raynauds, Osteo, Gastroparesis, Fibro and some symptoms and markers of Lupus and RA. Ankylosing Spondilitis adds to the issues. Pain is excruciating. However, I am grateful for each day! How nice it would be if we could spend some time in that beautiful, quite place, so close to God! Prayers for you my dear!
Can’t wait to see his reaction. I really enjoy your channels. I only wish I was 25 again so I could adopt a similar lifestyle before I got bogged down in all of the trappings of a “ normal” life…payments, mortgages, credit cards etc. What you and Dave teach through your channels is transformational change…something most people will be resistant to. Still, it gives us all a goal!
You remind me of myself. I love how independent and hardworking you are . My dad always told me to be able to take care of myself I always helped him chop wood we always went camping, canoeing and boating in the Ozarks, always had a great time with my family. My husband always surprises me he's so good at it I wish I could come up with him something to surprise him with I mean a total surprise would be wonderful. I love the surprise you have waiting for your husband he's going to love it 🥰💖💖💖
I love you. I wish you were my friend. Im a new sister in Christ so when i saw your love of living in the outdoors and that you are a Christian as well, I felt truely blessed. Your my favourite on youtube as well. Thank you for all the love you put into everything you do. God bless your heart.
I really love that you’re showing how independent women can be, even in a relationship!! As a veteran and military spouse there were a lot of times I would have to make important decisions alone for the betterment of us and our children. I love the confidence it’s given me and now, not much intimidates me❤️😊
You are definitely an inspiration. Not just to women, young and old but hopefully to men as well. The world needs wonderful women like you to give us all HOPE. Bless you, dear one.🌱🌿💓
You must fall into bed exhausted at the end of your day, you work so hard! I feel accomplished when I get my kitchen & bathrooms cleaned & my place vacuumed, I cannot imagine how accomplished I would feel after doing what you do in my day. I probably couldn't move the next day, I'd be so sore! Thanks for being such an inspiration!!
You might be sore for a couple of days to a week, but your body will acclimate to what you are doing. You will still probably crash at the end of the day with a smile though.
You remind me of myself when I was younger. I was a tough chick too, having been raised in rural areas with four brothers. I did everything they did. Chopping firewood, clearing brush, starting fires, digging holes...whatever needed doing. I am now 66 and if I work too hard (which I still try) my back goes out in me.😂. I am jealous of your life. One lesson I learned the hard way, is not to make a fire pit with river rock. The rocks explode when they get hot.😬. Sends campers running for their lives😂
I loved a woman like you once, life took a toll with her family. She was so vibrant and we explored the west, I sure miss her and being out in the wilds. Maybe this encourages me to try again.
I figure you were use to your ways of livin city, or daily things afraid to leave your comforts of family??? Livin her way?? Or you Thinkin she's gonna change fer you?? Not this one, yours , we are special , we cannot change fer nobody, seems you should of known that fer ya got married! Or too young? Haha but today that's what's wrong , say I love you but don't really know each other before ya marry get to know your partners guys too hard after, too late, less ya can both work at it and that's what Life is All when ya. Marry you leave your MA and Pa and start your Own Lives that's why I ever married again, my ma son needed me
Life is sad sometimes. I certainly know what you mean. I too loved a woman like her. She had such adventure. She just past away, had lots of adventures with her. She is my mom.
You are amazing woman, you open a school for girl between religion and camping you have it all. Mr.bug ( Dave) is a bless man to have woman like you by his side. There some kids ( girl's) that would love a day out in the woods, and with your skill you can change and give them a challenging day. My mother was the one gave me the love for outdoors, and 3 girl's and a son adult now but boy do they love the outdoors. Well keep up the good work and be safe and bless as well. Enjoy your videos just started watching 👀 you and Dave as well, super nice place Ya'll have there 👍 just don't over do it let mother nature so her beauty just like you bless.
I love how you you don't question yourself it is you forget something you fix it and go on! Sometimes we forget how to think and make choices for ourselves. Keeps the your mind sharp! Amazing to be watch you and your husband and so grateful you both share your lives with us ❤️🙏
Job Well Done! On the wedding anniversary, the tent built alone, and buying an amazing piece of property. Dave will love this, and will be so pleased with what you have done. I see your family enjoying this property for years to come. Hey kids, let's go on a fishing weekend! Boom! You are there. Thanks for explaining the Rain Fly! Makes total sense. In my historic tent, I put that plastic tarp down- for a vapor barrier- but with the historic tent, I can only put another tarp down on the ground. You will never know that vapor barrier is there, and it is totally worth it. Thanks for sharing this journey with us; you are showing me places I will never get to see.
I’m with you on the RV/generator/noise situation. I grew up tent camping and feel closer to nature that way. I like the peace and quiet also! Brooke, you are an inspiration! Thank you.
At 45, I am also in a 26 year relationship. So I can understand the bond and trust that one has in a soul mate. Awesome work on the land and tent. Was never worried, but tell Dave to get a quick vid up to say hi. Cheers!
Brooke, you've got your own glamping tent and it's decorated so unique and cozy looking! Love it and your energy which is so incredible and positive! If everybody put all their energy into such productivity, the world would be a better place to live in!😀👏🔨🧤🌌💗
Brook: I think you are a true example of a Proverbs 31 wife. I think your husband Dave is very blessed to have you at his side. Blessings on you and yours...👍🙏
What sucks about my marriage is that years ago she showed her love by sleeping with what I thought were friends. It has stayed stuck in my mind ever since.
The tent is so awesome now thats how ya camp. I love the great outdoors I've been in the wilderness since I was little. We used to live at our campsite all summer long. It was so much fun. I love everything to do with camping and the quietness of the woods. Oh man there isn't anything better than sleeping in a tent. We have a big green military canvas tent that we use every year. It's huge and my husband two boys and I all fit perfectly in there.
I love this channel. What a frontier spirit. I love working hard too and some people can't understand my energy. Girl in the woods reminds me of myself.
Love ur u tube.program. Thanks for sharing ur life with us. Are all ur kids grown up now? Do they share ur love of nature ? Wow what a life. U really live!
It’s been 25 years ago now, we were heading out for my families spring campout. I asked my son where he wanted to camp that year. In the woods where we normally camp or at a camp ground. He was horrified, that I would even think about camping with other people around us. He commented that he could not put up with all the noise that other people would make and we would not be able to shoot the guns while in camp. One of the comments about noise was generator noise, Funny!
That is a nice looking tent and it must be so handy in the rain like you all received outside after you put it up. I also noticed that you gave God the Glory for the food you ate and that is good. The area around your tent which you are clearing will look great once cleaned totally and that is a great idea to keep any wild fires away from your shelter.
I was surprised my husband with a trip to Italy. Told him the night before we left, that we had to be at the airport by 6am. It was at the airport that I told him where we were going! Turned out wonderful!
Really moved by your love for everything good. Bearing your soul about the technical, philosophical, passionate and emotional sides of your life. You are an inspiration. God Bless you both
Your joy and gratitude is inspiring. I live in Ohio and feel like hibernating in the winter but hike miles in the other seasons. Watching you, your gratitude for everything and your enthusiasm, makes me want to get outside and get happy! Literally! ❤️🌟
I am so happy for you. Dave is going to be thrilled when he gets home and sees all you have done and that the place is even better than he could have ever imagined. All I can see is things are looking good. Bet you can't wait to see the children and Maizy. Great family you have Brooke. God bless you all.

We had to put up these huge, heavy tents in the army...so heavy it took 4 men just to move it. I was always impressed how everyone just jumped in and we got it done quick! The tents would shelter 50 cots.
The tent is awesome, and you decorated it so well! I love it! I also like how you are inventive to get things done on your own. 💫☀️🌲🌖🍂🍁 The little frog is so sweet.
I definitely connect with you on the whole going to a campground thing, I just started camping the past few years and I am totally disgusted when I go camping because of the noise and people are inconsiderate as far as being loud, I would love to just go camping in the middle of the wilderness with just nothing around me but nature
I would expect that at a camp ground these days but, it happens everywhere. I moved to acerage for peace and quiet away from people. 16 acres at the end of a dead end road. After I moved in, the neighbors on the other side of the road decided that their dirt bike track should be relocated right in front of my house🙄 I'm glad I didn't have to deal with them for long.

I am so sorry to read about your husband. God bless you and the children he left behind. I say ride on! What better way to keep your mind off things than to do what you do? Jeep it up! 👏
My deepest sympathy. My husband and i have lived like that for 27 years. I can't imagine what life would be without him. God bless all of us.
I prefer fritos as fire starter, or dryer lint. The fritos are a fav snack food too.
Find some Birch bark too.
Ingenious preplanning. Noted.
Excellent, easy idea!
I save the butt end of candles to throw in my fires for starter.
Happy 🏕 camping.
LOL - watched this after viewing the new cabin Brooke built all by herself. I'm still amazed at how she did this tent by herself. You are super woman, Brooke! :)
You are one of the most resourceful and tough women I’ve ever seen. Totally cool !!!!!
I totally agree, woww, she's sooo cool!!
Yes she is ❤💖💗💝
start with one pushup a day and goooooooooo
I think you would be surprised how many of we woman do all this on our own.
Great couple, two very kind and hard-working people. May you have a long life enjoying the world together
Totally agree with your sentiment!
From a man, I tell you what... You have an amazing way about you. You have a great spirit. I love the way you think things through 😉. You make me smile, your an inspiration to all. I think RUclips should given an award for courage. Good luck to you, and I think your husband will be very proud of you...
thank you
👍
You’re such a cool person and so fun!
Giving thanks before a meal is a testimony unto itself.
She lives the Christian life she proclaims. Without saying a word, she gives testimony. Love you lady!
Amen to that
I AM A FAN FOR SURE YOU GO AMAZING WOMEN OF GOD 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿❤️💕❤️💕❤️💕❤️💕❤️💕❤️🙏🏿
But remember, it's never necessary.
@@TsunamiKitten56 not necessary???? Just curious why you would write that. Not necessary for salvation, not necessary to be loved by God ??
Probably the best videos I’ve ever seen on RUclips. I’m extremely impressed.. The prayers before your meal tell me the kind of people you really are. I’ve never seen such hard workers.
People drop a rung on my ladder when I see them say grace. Catholics drop even more.
You are an inspiration to women this is what young women should aspire to determination and being able to look after themselves I clicked on to your channel by mistake but now I can’t stop watching Your videos seem to bring a calmness to my life thank you 🙏🏽 especially in times like these Please keep safe everyone 🌹
There is no volume.
I agree. She’s such an inspiration to young girls (and us older ladies). Just love this channel, Im new here too. I love the wonderful relationship between this beautiful couple. My husband and I are binge watching. 👏
Absolutely!I hate snow but she is such an inspiration and her videos are so calming!
Excuse me, but nothing stops her from being an inspiration to men young and old. I don't see why people feel the need to delineate between men and women in cases like this.
@@RespectMyAuthoritaah I couldn’t agree more I should have said she is an inspiration to everyone 🙏🏽
In my mind I'm an outdoors person, but I'm such a scaredy cat. I enjoy living vicariously through you.
I feel for you Pamela, I have a lot to learn before I can make my transition to woodsman. All I can say is baby steps, just make baby steps and soon enough you will be over nighting and then weekends before you know it you will think you have always lived off grid.
@@sambrandt3688 Thanks for the encouragement
you can do it! you're much stronger than you think!
I agree with you the best sound while in the woods is the silence. Love it.
🤣 I’m from ‘prairies’ and expect frogs and cicadas and owls and night sounds. It’s always creepy when I camp in places that are so quiet at night.
She could literally survive any urban economic catastrophic event with a smiling face.
You're so right. I think, more than anything, Brooke's attitude would get her through any challenge.
@My Dixie Wrecked That’s a joke right?
She coukd just pray...right?
Brooke’s is a hard-working woman! I am so proud of her.
@My Dixie Wrecked🔨 She is absolutely tougher than some men. Especially left leaning men.
This lady is One In a Million for real. You can survive anywhere. WHAT A TALENT AND DOWN TO EARTH IS THE KEY FOR SURVIVAL.
Where's her dog?
I agree 👍✌️
A lot of people just don't understand what "peace and quiet" is. You know when your in a good spot when you can hear your heart beat. Great video Brooke. Take care.
You are an inspiration to young girls and women around the world. Further you have a rock solid relationship.
My husband and I just hit 39 yrs of marriage.
I grew up camping, so many awesome memories.
Don't like burnt bread.
I'm 60, too. Didn't think it was possible.😊
Wow. Wow. Wow. Is there anything you can't do? I'm amazed by YOU & your determination. Rocking it, girl!!!
Don’t spend your whole life letting age stop you …. You can do it!
No regrets. Go for it.
Good luck.

Omg I don't think I've ever seen anything so cosy as you in the cabin/,tent with the rain and you drinking steaming hot coffee awww heaven 👌👌👌
Indeed. Cozy at it's best.

This is the first time I’ve seen your vlog. This was so relaxing and enjoyable. It’s fun to watch someone doing what most dream of doing.

This gal is amazing! Mad Respect!
Definitly!!

P.S. Dave is a lucky and blessed man!
That's why we use rocks with water in them.🖒🤣.

People no generators or lights or loud music when camping… people come from around everywhere to be quiet. Respect always in the woods and everywhere
Love the way you think. Dave will do a flip when he gets there.
Her joy makes watching this so enjoyable!

Your so lucky in the USA such a big country with so many Environments and weather conditions its perfect that's why I love watching Bush craft, here in the UK it's a beautiful country but the elements can be boring. I love camping but most people I know Don't 😥 but at least I got you good people to watch and learn from even if from the comfort of my home. What you did on this video was amazing your husband is a lucky man and I'm sure he knows that, oh and the generator thing totally get that, what's the point, no mod-cons, just a warm fire the sounds of the countryside and a million miles from the rat race, good luck with everything you do and thx for being here. XXX
I love the sound of the crackling fire.
It’s so nice and fulfilling to see a young lady pray before you eat
