Magical SNOWY overnight at the cabin

- Spend the night with me at the cabin with the doggos! We just got a nice dump of snow- so join me for some fun and great woodstove food. It's cold and snowy AND BEAUTIFUL- ya gotta get out and enjoy it! And hey- that's how you earn your dinner! You're gonna love what I cook on the woodstove and when is the last time you went sledding?? Let's gooooooooooo!
Snow ice cream recipe (makes a big bowl):
2 eggs
1 cup evaporated milk
3/4 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Freshly fallen snow (light and fluffy)
Beat eggs- add sugar, milk and vanilla. Beat until combined and smooth. Fold in snow until mixture is the consistency of ice cream. Has the consistency of homemade ice cream. Put in freezer for harder freeze. ENJOY!
*To make chocolate snow ice cream add a packet of instant hot cocoa and stir.

Just finished almost 80 days of camping and this week secured a tiny cabin in da woods in exchange for helping on the farm! I was so excited to share my dinner with you while watching this video! Thank you for helping me stay inspired to chase my dreams!!

Honestly I followed my gut, it was there every time I drove to town! I looked up others when I knew I wanted to winter down somewhere and not get an apartment, buying my own place wasn't going to happen this year and I decided to drive in and and see what happened! 🙏 That dinner in a cabin with Brooke's video was very special, especially when I look back to what I was hoping for last year!

When Brooke was 1st building it herself and I knew absolutely nothing about her, it was the first GIRL IN THE WOODS vid I ever saw! Then I went back and watched all the backstory of all the places they worked in Alaska and their time on the TV show ALONE. Now 2023 their boy has started a 2nd generation as a homesteader and RUclipsr called BETTING ON ALASKA. He has a lot of talent as a storyteller and adventure vlogger. ❤❤❤❤

My 28 yo daughter who still lives with me and my wife got her first puppy 8 months ago . Lola is a beautiful husky poo who has brought so much love into our home that my words can’t even begin to explain. I see so many similarities between your pup and ours like how much she loves you and how much you love her. My wife never had any pets her whole life and grew up in a home that was afraid of dogs and ihaven’t had any snce I lived with my parents and that was 40 years ago. Anyway you should see how attached my wife has become to this precious addition to our family and me this lil dog has just melted my heart. I can’t wait till this winter when lola gets to see her first snow. Your videos with you and your beautiful dog inspired me to tell you my story. Thankyou for the beautiful and calming videos you share with us and may the Lord be with you.

I was only going to watch this "for a couple of minutes," but I couldn't stop!! There is something about the simplicity and peace and quiet, yet so much living in the moment that I love. Being a total foodie, I loved watching you make your dinner and breakfast. I don't eat red meat or pork, but girl, let me tell you, I am seriously going to be making a cheddar cheese sandwich with roasted jalapena tomorrow. I just subscribed, so I've never seen your other videos. I noticed you are married...does your spouse not mind you adventuring with your dogs and going on your own for a bit? I think it's great! As a Christian, I loved how you thanked Jesus for the things you are grateful for. We all need that reminder.

Thank you for sharing your little piece of heaven with us!! My husband and I are homeless and living in our car and there’s nothing more I wish and pray for but a little piece of land where I can build a little shelter and have a fire and live off the land. The local housing isn’t doing much to help us so I feel so alone and overwhelmed. I know God has great plans for our future but it’s just getting through the hard times that is so hard. I thank you so much for your words of wisdom and your encouraging scriptures that are truly speaking to me. I do have to say that I am truly thankful for our car that we are living in and we’re not on the streets without any kind of shelter. God bless you Brook and know that I love you ❤

What a delightful video this is. As a youngster we used sheets of cardboard for sledding downhill in the snow. We had the Little Conewago Creek flowing behind the house where we would shovel out a huge spot of snow for ice skating during the winter. We had a burn barrel aflame up the creek bank for warm-ups. Wooden benches to sit on during skating breaks. What wonderful times we had even in the winter. We always year-round found plenty to do outside.
Oh my goodness the opening of this video with you and the pups trekking to the cabin and the music softly fading in, amazing and has me feeling very festive:)
